Excellent
GGuest UserPros: The hotel is very close to the beach, not a private one, but it's a convenient 10-minute walk. It's also near Discoveryland, making it easy to visit. The hotel exterior is beautiful, and the gardens are lovely.
Cons: We booked this hotel for RMB 1440 per night during the May Day holiday, but the service level definitely didn't match that price point.
The room decor and facilities were pretty basic, essentially just a step up from a budget hotel with the addition of a bathtub. They claimed to have children's toiletries, but we never saw any. There's no laundry room, and while the room had a small fridge, it was empty, with no complimentary drinks.
The hotel's own restaurant was very mediocre. The breakfast buffet was basically on par with a slightly better budget hotel. The other à la carte restaurant was overpriced with very ordinary dishes, not to mention a 15% service charge. I honestly couldn't figure out what service that fee was for; we even had to search for a water pitcher ourselves or actively call a waiter just to get water.
The hotel staff were quite disappointing. It felt like they hired a bunch of temporary workers for the May Day rush, as they seemed clueless about everything we asked. There was no detailed information in the room about the children's play area, gym operating hours, or fees; we had to inquire about everything individually.
In summary, apart from the hotel's exterior and scenery, everything else was rather subpar. It felt like a glorified budget hotel, so don't set your expectations too high.

인인사마We visited Luneng Hot Spring with our kids and had a great family time. The hot spring was relaxing, and the kids really enjoyed the play areas and child-friendly pools.
One of the best parts of our stay was the excellent help we received from Brynn, a staff member who spoke English very well. Since we don’t speak Chinese, her support made everything easier—from room service to general questions. She was kind, professional, and even checked on us after we left. Thanks to her and the friendly staff, our stay was smooth and enjoyable.

JJoshuaLThe (apart)hotel is located steps away from the seaside and 东方水城 with plenty of eateries (but definitely less than what you get if staying at 中山广场 for example - we purposely chose to be close to the seaside here). The staff from bellboy to front desk/ cleaning staff is also eager to please with smiles all around, definitely pleasant interactions.
On the downside, there was a heavy smoke smell at the hallway leading to our unit, and upon confirmation with the staff working at the floor during the time, turns out that the person living next door is smoking 🥲 this smell did creep into our unit over time, which led me to request air purifier and open the windows to improve circulation. Also I need to turn *off* ventilation at the bathroom to prevent smoke smell. Luckily, the situation improved during our stay (so I decided against requesting to change units) since the occurrence of smoke smell became less (perhaps the resident checked out/ decided to smoke less?). Anyhow, this did damper our experience.
Also to note a service suggestion due to the smell I immediately requested a purifier unit, didn’t realize that there’s already one sitting in the unit. I also requested detergent since washing machine is available in the unit, didn’t realize that it’s readily available inside the bathroom. While the receptionist happily agreed to my request when I called to request the items (upon checking into my room), they could have also just informed me where they are located to avoid the redundant request. Also, perhaps the detergent should be placed visibly/ closer to the washing unit instead of being together with toothbrush etc inside the drawer in the bathroom - just a suggestion.
Breakfast offerings while great is also nothing to wow about (one of our main considerations for hotel selection is to look at breakfast pricing listed, which is 198 RMB in this case, which is on the higher end, so we were expecting some kind of a wow factor). Yes, the restaurant is located on the 67th floor offering nice view, but the spread is nothing to rave about - it’s your typical above average breakfast spread with additionally a little seafood selection. During our stay I did come across an offer to purchase breakfast for 108 RMB in one of the platforms, and I think the value is much closer to this rather than 198, so something worth calling out.
So all in all, good hotel with great location/ views/ staff - calling out the smoking issue (more of a people problem rather than hotel’s, but I would wish/ expect that indoor smoking should be non existent for 5-star establishments, which isn’t the case here), and secondarily the breakfast value. The shower issue (lower pressure/ time to heat) from other reviews is also real, but not a big deal for us.

BBobi1109The hotel generally met my expectations, though it's clearly been open for a few years as the facilities are starting to show their age. The room wasn't particularly impressive; the ocean view room had a decent location but the balcony was small, and the room itself was long and narrow. The interior decor and amenities felt a bit budget-friendly. The location is excellent, and parking is convenient, but I wouldn't recommend it if you're not driving yourself, as the surrounding area doesn't offer much. The management didn't feel up to par with other hotels in the same class, especially considering Dalian generally has high hotel service standards; this one was just so-so. The staff seemed quite unmotivated, and some of the outdoor facilities in the park weren't being utilized. Overall, the value for money was just average.

AAifenxiangdeJoMy stay in Dalian this time was absolutely fantastic, truly exceeding expectations. The weather was pleasantly mild and comfortable, with a refreshing sea breeze that wasn't too hot, making every walk outdoors incredibly enjoyable. Coupled with the hotel's thoughtful and attentive service, my entire trip felt twice as wonderful.
The hotel staff's service was exceptionally high. The front desk team was professional and patient; whether I inquired about local attractions, transportation routes, or hotel amenities, they answered all my questions with detailed and clear explanations. Check-in and check-out were very efficient, with no delays or waiting throughout. The concierge department left an even stronger impression. As soon as I arrived, they proactively came forward to help with my luggage and guided me every step of the way. Any requests during my stay, like storing luggage when I went out or arranging luggage transfers, were handled with great ease. They were consistently warm and friendly, always willing to help with small details, showing genuine sincerity in every interaction.
The overall environment was clean and tidy, and the location was convenient for getting around. From the moment I stepped in until I checked out, I could feel the staff's genuine hospitality. It's perfectly suitable for both leisure and business travelers, offering excellent value for money and top-notch service.

GGuest UserNice, nice, nice! This place is really great. The whole building is quite tall, and the rooms are very bright, giving a spacious feel. The service is also super good. Lynne from guest relations was very thoughtful and arranged everything perfectly. Definitely worth experiencing again!

YYemzyThe experience at this hotel was good my daughter was so happy with the Balala fairy room she enjoyed herself so much, and many thanks to **** for checking up on us as we left the hotel, we loved the atmosphere the breakfast was absolutely amazing and the F&B manager went out of his way to make sure that we sat comfortably and we were served exceptionally well, whenever we come back to Dalian for our next vacation this hotel will be definitely be one of our choice among the many hotels that we will book 😀 I enjoyed my stay, and the reception stuff was very warm and friendly, the bed was absolutely comfortable considering the we traveled for well over 16 hours from our city. I definitely had a relaxed night. My husband rested well, and he was at ease.

GGuest UserWe were here with our child for a competition, and this was the designated hotel. The front desk staff was exceptionally helpful and promptly upgraded us to a suite. After checking in, we found there were no children's slippers or toiletries in the room, so we had to call to have them delivered. Later that evening, when my child wanted to take a bath, we discovered some curly hair on the bath salts – it was quite unappealing, and we had to ask for them to be replaced. We also ended up receiving children's toothbrushes four times, delivered by a combination of three staff members and a robot. To top it off, the comb packaging was empty.
Admittedly, the staff's attitude was consistently excellent, and the facilities met five-star standards, with free parking for guests. Despite these inconveniences, I still rated it five stars, understanding that running a hotel is no easy feat. I would suggest the hotel improve its hygiene and attention to detail to provide guests with an even better experience.

NNickRZI enjoyed staying in this hotel. 5 stars but reasonable price. The room was clean and spacious and the view outside looked out towards the sea and harbour. They made the beds every morning. I did not eat the breakfast as downstairs and surrounding area had plenty of cheaper options due to being next to many shopping malls. The metro stop is not so far but a little more inconvenient to get to the main train station by walking. Line 2 takes you to the airport in less than 40 minutes for 4RMB. As the metro is nearby you can get to many local tourist places quickly and cheaply. Highly recommend if you want to spend a little more but have close access to get around.
