"It's been a while since I last visited Dalian, and I chose this hotel because of its great reviews. My experience was indeed excellent! 👍 They upgraded my room for free during check-in! They also thoughtfully assigned a good room location based on my request in the notes!! The location is also very convenient, close to the subway station. All the staff were very friendly, and their service attitude was excellent! I'll definitely choose this place again next time I visit!"

"The room was spacious, and the front desk staff, especially the ladies, were very kind and thoughtful. The environment was decent and very clean. The hotel is located near Zhongshan Square, with a BUY-MART supermarket downstairs and many trendy spots. The hotel's location is very prominent. The owner was very welcoming and nice. The room was bright with good orientation, and the TV and air conditioning worked perfectly. Highly recommended."

"The environment here is fantastic. The room was much bigger than I expected, the bedding was clean and odorless, and the A/C cooled down the room really fast. The hot water in the shower was super abundant and the temperature was stable! The front desk lady was incredibly enthusiastic and helped me find some affordable local eats nearby (there's a night market just a 3-minute walk away!). While the facilities aren't luxurious, it has everything you need (fast WiFi, plenty of outlets, a large mirror), perfectly suiting a short stay. It's truly a value-for-money king – students and budget travelers, go for it!"

The indoor facilities are even better—the rooms come with an extra-large HD projector, offering an amazing viewing experience. Plus, there's a smart toilet, showing quality in every detail. The gym has a wide range of professional equipment, meeting all daily workout needs. The overall environment is comfortable and the facilities are modern, making it a top-notch choice for accommodation."

"Great location, across from Zhongshan square and 15 minutes walk to Russia street. The marina is a short 10-15 mini taxi ride. This hotel is like an old style China hotel, it’s kind of grand and is kept in relatively good condition, but it is dated with dark wood furniture and not in keeping with the high expectation of an InterContinental, especially compared with other cities. Also, there is a weird smell in the room, and the breakfast spread is limited, even in the club lounge. Also, there was no acknowledgment of my milestone birthday, which was disappointing. On the positive, the executive room is a nice size, bathroom is huge, shower is powerful, the condition is ok, bed and pillows are comfortable, no coffee machine, but free access to lounge with afternoon tea on both days and happy hour where food is served. The pool is large and up to 1.8m deep. The price is relatively good, so overall it was enjoyable. Thanks also to Grace who gave me a late check out and a magnet. I hope they refurbish the hotel soon, as it could be better, through it ain’t that bad ether."

"I stayed at this hotel for two days and found it quite comfortable. I booked a room with a large TV, which was great for casting movies from my phone. The service was also excellent; they responded promptly on WeChat and helped resolve any issues. On the first night, I felt the room was a bit warm, but after contacting the front desk, they immediately adjusted the air conditioning to cold, making it much less stuffy. They also handled other small requests well, like helping with food delivery. The service truly was good. The hotel has a pleasant environment and good facilities, and it was very clean."

"Went to Dalian with friends and checked out all the five-star hotels there. We finally settled on the Shangri-La and were very satisfied. We had booked two rooms beforehand because we wanted to see them before deciding which one to stay in. Yilia assisted us, explaining the differences between the rooms and showing them to us. We ultimately chose the Deluxe Twin Room, and all our requests were met. The floor was great, and the view was excellent. They even knew it was my birthday and decorated the room for me, sending a cake and red wine. A big thank you to the lovely Yilia! As for the hotel itself, as a well-established five-star hotel, the Shangri-La truly lives up to its reputation in terms of decor, facilities, location, and service – all five-star quality. We'll definitely stay here again next time we visit Dalian."

"First of all, this B&B is a new store with a good location. You can see the Venice Water World upstairs. It is convenient to play at night, especially for those who take their elders and children out for a trip like me. You can come back to rest at any time. We drove here and can park for free. We need to communicate with the front desk in advance. There are shopping malls nearby, which is convenient for eating and shopping. There are two convenience stores downstairs. Let's talk about the hotel environment. Everything is very good. Bringing children here requires higher environmental hygiene, but it is really clean. We chose a two-bedroom and one-living room family room with a small child's bed. The children like it very much. There is also a large sofa in the living room. The room area is also large and the light is also very good. It is full of large glass floor beds, which is great. Finally, let's talk about the hotel front desk service, which is also super super good. The boy and girl at the front desk are very enthusiastic and very good. They answer all questions and get along well. The super front desk always serves with a smile. The overall feeling I have is very wow! I will come again next time. By the way, it happened to be 520, and I also gave a rose! The service is in place."

"Novotel will be my top choice next time I visit Dalian! Absolutely fantastic! This was the most comfortable hotel I stayed at during my Dalian trip. For the first two days, unfamiliar with the city, I booked a highly-rated hotel online based on its location. To my dismay, it didn't even have blackout curtains, and I was woken up by sunlight shining on my bed past 5 AM. I decisively switched to Novotel, which, coincidentally, is located in the same building. I regret that Novotel wasn't a recommended option when I made my initial booking online. **Location:** Situated in the heart of Zhongshan District, it's near Dalian Times Square (luxury shopping) and very close to Zhongshan Square and the charming Nanshan Street. Its excellent location makes it incredibly convenient to get anywhere. A taxi to Xinghai Square only costs around 10-20 RMB. There are plenty of dining, entertainment, and leisure options in the vicinity. **Ambiance:** The hotel boasts a 'light luxury' design, which feels very comfortable and inviting. It's impeccably clean, fresh, and hygienic, with a complimentary fruit platter provided daily. **Facilities:** The facilities are comprehensive and include everything you'd expect. There's both a laundry room and a well-equipped gym. The on-site restaurant also serves a delicious breakfast! **Service:** The service is exceptionally warm and friendly, truly making you feel at home. The staff are polite and greet you every time they see you. Even the cleaning staff proactively offer a greeting with a smile. The only minor drawback is that it shares elevators with several other hotels, and there's no key card required to access floors directly, which could be a slight security concern."

"I really like Kempinski. While we were still in Harbin, they called to ask about our needs and proactively offered us a complimentary upgrade to a VIP twin room. The room was huge, the bathroom was large (about 10 square meters, bright and airy with a window), and the wardrobe was spacious enough to fit large suitcases. The tea area was a separate space, offering privacy and comfort. There were plenty of surfaces to neatly organize various items, which was fantastic (a large bay window ledge, a shelf above the headboard, and various shelves around the TV). Additionally, they noticed we drink a lot of water and provided us with many bottles daily. All their services are excellent, the hotel environment is great, and the location is convenient for getting around. Our stay there was a very good experience. For dining and local specialties, Dalian Mall is just a 5-6 minute walk away. The first floor sells various snacks, freshly prepared cooked food, and local products. Before heading back to Shanghai, we went there to buy all sorts of local foods."
