"Let me start by saying this: it's my first business trip to Dalian, and this is the second hotel I've stayed at – both have been excellent! How can the service be so good? I'm in love with Dalian!
The location is superb, very close to Xinghai Square, and right by the seaside as soon as you step out.
During my stay, I added the butler's WeChat, so I could conveniently message them for anything I needed. When I arrived, the front desk staff helped me with my luggage to my room, and I even received a welcome afternoon tea.
There aren't many rooms on each floor, so it's very quiet, and the room itself is comfortable! The bed is neither too soft nor too hard, I slept so well. The curtains are automated with a button, the bathroom has a separate wet and dry area, and the bath towels are thick. I usually bring my own toiletries when I travel, but I actually used the shampoo here and it was fantastic – left my hair fragrant and smooth. Very satisfied!"

"Went there with a friend. It's a five-minute walk to the beach. You can go to Rainbow Highway and General Stone. There's a shopping mall opposite, so it's very convenient to eat. You can see the sea from the window. The hotel is very smart, comfortable, warm, and cost-effective. It's very clean. The owner is very beautiful and enthusiastic. I will book her next time."

The B&B is located at Dalian Fisherman's Wharf, directly opposite the sea. The first floor is a breakfast restaurant + coffee bar, and the second floor is a B&B. The overall accommodation is very retro and very photogenic.
The environment is super good. I stayed in a triple room for two nights and a quadruple room for one night. The price is fair and reasonable! I came before May Day so there weren't that many people.
The big bed in the room faces the sea, it has a duplex structure, dry and wet separation, clean bedding, and it is pet-friendly! ! ! I brought a kitten and a puppy. My dog is very well behaved and doesn't bark. The staff will also take care of the kittens and puppies.
Travel photography at the pier: I especially want to praise the travel photography! The retouching is super natural, I’m not even wearing any makeup! The photos you took of me look really good. I’ll give you five for free! Posting to Moments is especially chill
Service: The breakfast is very good, and the best way to describe it is clean! The wontons are freshly made by the old man, the noodles are all hand-rolled, the shrimp paste is especially delicious, and the Italian meat sauce is not bad either! I want to praise the coffee, the Americano and latte are very pure~

GGuest UserThe hardware facilities are decent, but it doesn't feel like a resort hotel at all. The staff quality varies wildly. I'm being conservative in my assessment because I did see some very dedicated employees, but there were a few individuals with extremely poor service attitudes, and unfortunately, they were in key positions. As shown in the picture, the 'deluxe sea view room' I was given had a view entirely dominated by rooftops. I had booked for three days, but I decisively checked out after one. I won't be returning.

All the staff were consistently quick and friendly, making our trip even more memorable and enjoyable. The inclusion of hot spring tickets was a nice touch, and the condition of the room was excellent. I’d love to return with my parents on our next visit!

**About the Butler Service:** Absolutely top-notch! Even before arrival, I received a call from my butler, who thoughtfully inquired about my arrival time and check-in preferences. From helping with luggage upon entry to the welcome fruit and detailed room orientation after checking in, every single detail was impeccable. When I tentatively asked for a late checkout, the butler immediately and generously extended it until 2 PM. This level of meticulous care truly made me feel pampered.
**About the Hotel Scenery:** Perched on a hillside, the hotel's exterior resembles Germany's Neuschwanstein Castle, exuding a full European luxury vibe. The lobby boasts an 18-meter high domed ceiling, a crystal spiral staircase, and colorful domes – every snap looks like a movie scene. The most stunning feature is the 5th-floor sky garden, offering an unobstructed 270° panoramic view of Xinghai Bay and the cross-sea bridge – the vista is unbeatable. Staying in a high-floor sea view room, I could gaze at the Xinghai Bay Bridge right from my bed; both sunrise and sunset were absolutely breathtaking.
**About the Unexpected Deer Encounter:** This was a truly delightful surprise! The hotel is built on the hillside of Lianhua Mountain, where sika deer often roam among the trees. While strolling along the winding mountain path, we encountered several of them, and my child was overjoyed. This experience of meeting wild deer within a city castle was simply magical.
In conclusion, this stay was absolutely perfect. The service was thoughtful, the scenery was stunning, and we even got to encounter sika deer. I highly recommend it to everyone!

AAnonymous UserThe hotel does have some positives — the facilities feel relatively new, the gym is better equipped than many hotels in the same price range, and the bed and pillows were quite comfortable.
However, the overall stay was disappointing. The sound insulation between rooms was extremely poor. Interestingly, I barely heard any noise from the nearby bar, but I could clearly hear conversations, shower sounds, and other noises coming from neighboring rooms.
The check-in experience also felt unprofessional. When I asked whether there was a quieter room available because of the nearby bar, the staff said they could “upgrade” my room and spent time introducing the larger room before finally mentioning that it required an extra charge. I completely understand paid upgrades, but the way it was communicated felt more like a sales pitch than genuine hospitality.
What made the experience unacceptable in the end was finding a cockroach in the bathroom. Combined with the poor soundproofing and overall service experience, this stay did not meet the standards I expected.

AAlanaThe B&B converted from a duplex villa is pretty good overall. It's my first time staying in a B&B, it's pretty good, with both advantages and disadvantages
Advantages:
1. The room is a loft, and children like to go up and down, which is more suitable for children to play; 2. The hotel service attitude is very good, basically they are very enthusiastic to help if there is a need, and takeaways can also be delivered upstairs; 3. There are storybooks on the first floor of the hotel that can be borrowed, and there is also a small area suitable for young children to play; 4. The hotel is close to the beach gate No. 1, just walk a little across the road; 5. There are sand digging toys that can be borrowed. When I left, I left the sand digging tools in the hotel, which is convenient for subsequent guests to use.
Disadvantages:
1. The light blocking in the hotel room is not very good. We changed two rooms this time. Candy's home is a little bright at night. The curtains on the window behind the sofa are a little short. The street lights are brighter at night when the lights are turned off. The room is very bright at four in the morning. It is recommended to add blackout curtains; 2. The overall hygiene of the hotel is good, but the details are not enough. The next day, we stayed in Big Bird's home. The table where the phone is placed on the bedside upstairs was very dusty, and the bathroom also had a bit of smell; 3. The breakfast is indeed a bit simple, with few choices. 4. If you need to go to the sea, you need to go to the vicinity of Gates 4 and 5. It is less than 1km on foot and you need to take a taxi, which is not very convenient. There are too many tourists on buses near Gate 1, and the garbage for feeding seagulls is thrown everywhere. It is not recommended to play near Gate 1.

GGuest UserTraveling during off-peak season, this hotel offers incredible value for money. The location is fantastic, making it super convenient for kids to go crabbing. The service is also excellent; it's so much better than the unhelpful one next door! A big thank you to 'Eason' (Chen Yixun) who brought us plenty of water when he saw we had a large group – it felt great to have all our requests met. There was also a very handsome manager who gave the kids fun toys. Overall, it provided a wonderful vacation experience. The hamburger and fish and chips were also great and very popular with the children.
On the first floor, there's even a DJI drone available for a test flight, which the kids loved.
The only downside is that because it's so close to the sea, the bedding can be a bit damp. If you're traveling with small children, you might want to bring your own sheets.

GGuest UserAlways a pleasure to stay here, the ambiance is fantastic. The hotel has changed a bit since my last visit; the snacks are now domestically sourced. However, it's still good value for money. The toiletries have been switched from Japanese brands to the same ones used at Four Seasons, and my room got an upgrade. The only downside is that the restaurant has gone downhill compared to two years ago; my favorite dishes are gone, and they no longer offer freshly ground lattes at breakfast. On the bright side, the prices have also come down, and there are still made-to-order dishes available, so it's acceptable.

TtravelandeatThis hotel's location is genuinely brilliant, right in the city centre next to the Zhongshan subway and plaza, and for this price point, you really can't ask for better. The staff were friendly and helpful despite the language barrier (Google Translate sorted us out fine), and the cleaning team were lovely too.
The room was decent and properly clean, I checked for dust and there wasn't any. However, the hotel is quite old, and there was some mould on the ceiling and in the bathroom and shower curtain. It didn't bother me personally, but worth noting, and a bit of spray would be great. That said, Dalian was incredibly humid when I visited in late August, so I suspect this is partly a climate issue. Even my own towels wouldn't dry properly. The place was quite busy, mainly Chinese customers, but they were quiet and discreet.
Practical bits: they provide two bottles of water daily and disposable paper towels (which actually came in handy given the humidity). The room also had a washing machine (bring your own detergent) and you can hang clothes outside on the 9th floor veranda. There's a bus stop right outside with direct services to Xian Lu (shopping and basement food market) and the Transport University area night market, the subway goes straight to the airport, and you're walking distance from the main tourist spots like Russian Street, the old tram etc. Plenty of restaurants nearby too. And two convenience stores on ground floor. This place accepts foreign tourists and check-in was quick and easy. Internet was fast but slower in the evenings.
Honestly, some of the complaints I've read here seem a bit harsh considering what you're paying. You get what you pay for, and at this price point in this location, I think it's fair value. I'd stay here again, especially if travelling on a budget. Thank you, we had a lovely time in Dalian!
