We provide a variety of room types for different guests to choose from, including designer theme rooms, parent-child rooms, sea view rooms, duplex suites, etc., sitting in front of the window and looking into the distance, the blue sea and blue sky are connected into a line, and the beautiful natural scenery is in full view. "The location is incredibly convenient. Metro Line 2 takes you directly from the airport to the hotel, and once you exit from Gate C, you just turn a corner and you'll spot the large sign for Building 9. However, check-in isn't in Building 9 itself; it's in a separate orange-fronted room right next door. If you're not paying attention, you might miss it. It's completely within a residential complex, with both owner-occupiers and transient guests, and I imagine there might be long-term residents too. The ground floor on both sides is lined with all sorts of small shops, making the area incredibly lively and convenient for dining. It's about a 40-minute to an hour's walk to the International Yacht Marina. We stayed during the Davos conference from June 23rd-25th, 2026, and it didn't inconvenience us much; in fact, we even got to enjoy free metro rides all day on June 24th. The actual room size and the scenery depicted in the promotional photos were quite different; let's just say the photography was excellent. Overall, the cleanliness wasn't great. There were several bloodstains on the sheets, which we requested to be changed on the second day when the room was cleaned. The bathroom was quite small, and various towels looked unclean and very old. The shower gel and shampoo came in small bottles. Anyone particular about their bathing experience might find it inconvenient. The refrigerator was never plugged in, and when opened, it had a very unpleasant smell and was also dirty, causing food to take on strange odors. The range hood was also greasy. The hangers in the wardrobe were those flimsy wire ones, fine for summer clothes but not at all suitable for heavier coats in other seasons. The staff were pretty good. When booking, I made some common requests: a high floor, smoke-free room, away from the elevator, and a sofa in the warm, bright colors shown in the promotional pictures. The front desk staff arranged this in advance. During our stay, I messaged the 'little housekeeper' daily on WeChat to request room cleaning, and each time they said they would come in the afternoon. Since we went out in the morning and returned in the afternoon, we asked them to clean in the morning, which they always accommodated. Overall, the staff's service was OK, but since it's a homestay that opened in 2021, the facilities, equipment, and cleanliness/maintenance haven't kept up, so it really can't be judged by hotel standards. Oh, and the water heater worked great; hot water came out quickly with stable pressure, making showers very comfortable. Overall, feedback from friends visiting from out of town was positive, and the value for money was there. Even during Davos and the summer peak season, prices weren't inflated, which was very considerate and well-managed. There are pros and cons, and this is a completely objective review. I hope for improvements and might consider staying again in the future."

"Choosing the right hotel is so important when traveling with family! The room was spacious, spotless, and the bedding was comfortable, ensuring my child slept soundly. The staff were incredibly patient and the service was thoughtful and meticulous. The hotel's surroundings are quiet and safe, with plenty of attractions and dining options nearby, and excellent amenities. Our family felt relaxed and comfortable during our stay. It's perfect for family trips, highly recommended!"

Bayshore Hotel Dalian is located in Xinghai Square in Dalian, and it takes about 1 minute to walk to SanYa Polar Ocean World. The hotel offers various types of rooms for you to choose from, making it an ideal choice for family vacations and business trips. Each room has a window that can be opened by 15 degrees, providing unlimited fresh air. The hotel also features restaurants with various styles, so you can enjoy delicious food without leaving the hotel.

"We brought our child to Dalian this time, and staying at the Xinghai Holiday Hotel was definitely the right choice! The hotel's location is superb, with the Cross-Sea Bridge and Xinghai Square right outside our window. My child would eagerly press their face against the window every morning to watch the sea. What truly touched us was the duty manager, Manager Ning. Upon learning we were traveling with our 7-year-old son, Manager Ning specially upgraded us to a higher-floor sea-view room, offering an even more expansive view. They even thoughtfully provided children's toothbrushes and slippers. Throughout our stay, Manager Ning would always crouch down to chat with my child whenever we met, asking if they were having fun – truly approachable and friendly. The hotel was clean, and the staff were all very welcoming. This experience made our whole family feel warm and cared for. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Dalian! A heartfelt thank you to Manager Ning and the entire team for their dedicated service!"

There was no one at the front desk when I arrived in the evening; I had to call them to check me in, which wasn't a great experience overall. The room was okay, except for the bathroom door, which was a bit odd – completely transparent and took up a lot of space when closing; the design was unreasonable. They provided fruit in the room. The breakfast environment was poor; it was shared with a seafood restaurant, very noisy. People were eating breakfast here while seafood was being delivered there. Breakfast consisted of home-style dishes, and the taste was acceptable. Don't choose this hotel if you don't have a car; it's inconvenient. The sea view from the first-floor terrace was indeed beautiful.

I just got back from an amazing stay at Amano Hotel in Dalian, and I can’t recommend it enough! Being so close to Xinghai Beach was a game-changer—I loved starting my mornings with a stroll on the sand. The hotel itself felt really welcoming, with cozy rooms that made me feel right at home. The staff were really friendly, always ready to chat or offer tips on what to see in the area. There's usually sojourners who can speak English to help international tourists. It was the perfect way to fuel up for a day of exploring. I’m already planning my next visit!

Facilities: A bit old-fashioned. Cleanliness: Very good. Environment: Loved it, a perfect family-friendly hotel. Service: Good. The hotel's own activities are suitable for young children. It's very close to the beach, so getting to the sand is super convenient. My kids' favorite activity every day was walking to the beach. After they got tired of playing, we'd head back to rest, and from our room, we could hear the sound of the waves. It truly felt like 'facing the sea, with spring blossoms all around'.

My old parents came from Korea. We - 6 people - wanted to have a great memory during their stay in Dalian. Its location was perfect, sitting at the heart of fishermen s warf, but it was right after rain that things were humid. I should admit that for the peak time and prime location, it is a reasonable price and I blame the wet weather for some smelly environment. Should avoid wet weather. It is already right at the sea. Also, the price is as much as other 5 stars that are not in this location. There are lots of insta spots in and out of the hotel, so it is whether to put yourself at the top location with a bit reasonable price or modernized hotels like Hilton and intercontinental that are farther away and a couple of bucks more expensive.

Rooms here are really in high demand; it was impossible to extend my stay. Aside from a long wait during check-in, everything else was fantastic: the fifth-floor garden is charming both day and night, and the room's crystal chandeliers and carved wall decorations exude the luxury of an economic boom period. Even the chairs are incredibly heavy – they really spared no expense with the materials! However, the curtain on one of the windows in my room was broken and wouldn't close properly, letting in a lot of light as soon as it got bright outside. Other than that, everything was perfect!

The location is excellent for tourists, with the harbour and shopping centre just a short walk away. We especially loved the stunning views, both during the day and at night. The rooms are spacious, and the sound insulation between rooms is very good, making it a comfortable place to stay. There are a few drawbacks, however. The biggest issue is that there isn’t a separate guest bathroom. Guests staying in the two guest bedrooms need to use the master ensuite to shower, which isn’t very convenient. The bedrooms also don’t have blackout curtains, so they’re quite bright at night due to the neon lights outside, and the early sunrise (around 4:00 am) makes it difficult to sleep in. We also noticed an unpleasant odour coming from the bathroom drain, which persisted throughout our month-long stay. Overall, this is a very good place for a large family or group, particularly if you plan to cook your own meals and make use of the laundry facilities. With a few improvements, it would be an even better place to stay.

I visited Dalian with my child and stayed at three hotels over four days. This one was by far the most disappointing. First, the location is indeed excellent. If you like the Xinghai Square area, this is a great place to stay. However, during peak season, try to avoid taking taxis at night as traffic gets really congested. That said, it's lovely to stroll around from early evening onwards. Further in, there are many stalls and even a beer festival. You can also wander around the vicinity, ride bumper cars, or take a ride on the illuminated boats. When you're tired, it’s convenient to walk just a short distance back to the hotel to rest. Secondly, for dining, there's a KFC and Starbucks nearby, as well as a popular internet-famous Xiding Dumpling restaurant (when I passed by around 3 pm, there was already a long queue; during meal times, scalpers were selling queue numbers). If you walk a bit further, there are also hotpot, Western restaurants, and home-style cooking options – plenty to choose from. The hotel's 46th-floor restaurant was genuinely good. Personally, I don't think ordering roast duck is necessary; the other dishes are also delicious. The stir-fried okra with foie gras was absolutely stunning. I don't know the name of the male manager who took our order, but he had a great attitude. He offered suggestions when we were ordering and checked on our experience after the meal. A small suggestion for the restaurant's ambiance and service: perhaps play some light background music. The whole dining experience felt a bit dry. We happened to catch the bridge light show, but there was no music, making the visual experience not as good as what we saw outdoors the day before. Also, for such a high-end restaurant, wouldn't offering a complimentary fruit platter after the meal be better? Even two slices of watermelon could enhance customer satisfaction. Another point is the hotel service. I'm giving it two stars because the overall service model aligns with a five-star hotel, but the execution and mindset were disappointing. For nearly twenty years, I've only stayed in five-star hotels or above, and my own living environment is surrounded by several five-star hotels. I frequently visit hotels, whether for coffee, a lobby bar, or the gym. A grand hotel should embody a grand demeanor. During check-in, they emphasized and asked me, ”Are you sure it's just you and your child checking in?” I didn't react immediately, but shortly after entering the room, a male staff member knocked on the door, saying he was delivering welcome fruit. After I opened the door, his eyes darted around, scanning the entire room, almost as if he wanted to come in and look around. He asked if he should bring it in for me or if I'd take it. I didn't think much of it at the time, just found him a bit strange. It wasn't until I closed the door that I realized what had happened: they had already prejudged us, assuming we were more than two people and might be trying to sneak others into the hotel. Ha ha. I understand that at your price point and location, such situations might occur, but that's no excuse for judging people based on appearances!

My stay at the Xulailai Qixi Seaview Resort Hotel during my trip to Dalian was an exceptionally great experience. The hotel's location is superb; I could see the vast ocean right from my window. Waking up to watch the sunrise and enjoying the sunset glow in the evening was breathtaking, offering expansive views and a wonderful ambiance. The room itself was spotless and tidy, with a fresh and elegant decor. The bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The amenities were complete, with stable hot water supply in the bathroom and all necessary toiletries provided. The staff were warm and friendly, responding to requests promptly and thoughtfully. They handled inquiries about travel and luggage storage with great care. The surrounding area offers convenient access for sightseeing; it's not far from seaside attractions, making walks and exploring very easy. Overall, the value for money is excellent. I had a comfortable and pleasant stay, and I would definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Dalian.

The hotel's location is excellent, right opposite Happy Beach Gate 4, and within walking distance of Discovery Kingdom. Upon check-in, the front desk upgraded us to a sea-view room, which I really appreciated. However, I can't give a good rating for a few reasons: 1. As soon as we got to the room, I called the front desk for children's slippers and toothbrushes. After waiting half an hour with no delivery, I ended up getting them from a housekeeping staff member in the hallway. 2. In the afternoon, I called the front desk for disposable cups. Again, after waiting half an hour, they still hadn't arrived. I had to call again to follow up before they finally sent a robot to deliver them. We then left the room, and when we returned in the evening, we found two disposable cups sitting on the floor outside our door! Isn't putting paper cups on the floor unhygienic? 3. The hotel advertises free sand-digging tools. We stayed for two nights, and every time we went to get tools, they were either unavailable or broken! 4. Our room on the fifth floor wasn't particularly noisy, but as soon as you stepped out of the elevator, the hallway had an odd smell that I couldn't quite place. The bedding also felt damp, making for an uncomfortable stay. For a Trip.com 5-diamond hotel with such a prime location, this was truly disappointing. It seems you really do get what you pay for!

Environment: We upgraded to a sea-view room, and the harbor view was truly beautiful. Getting back to the hotel before sunset, we even got to watch a stunning harbor sunset. Service: Overall, it was quite good. The breakfast at the executive lounge on the 38th floor, though with a limited selection, was compensated by the high-altitude sea view we enjoyed while eating. The Conrad's mascot bear is really nice, two thumbs up!
