GGuest UserExcellent customer service from arrival to check out. Staff were prepared & expecting my check in. They able to identify me and greeted me warmly. Registration was efficient and quick. I was escorted to my rooms with my luggage assisted by a male staff(姓谷). Throughout my 7 nights stay, he always greeted me w a smile and unfailingly polite whether at reception lobby or at breakfast( helping me get my coffee and recommending additionals) In fact, all the staff were always courteous when I passed them, giving me directions when approached, offering an umbrella when it was raining on my way out & thus making me feel welcome in Dalian.
The location is right in the heart of Kaifaqu shopping zone and all within walking distance.
I love the 2nd floor lobby layout with free beverages, comfy seats and even a long informal conference table seatings for impromptu meetings. Attractively arranged fruit platters delivered daily to my room always made me smile upon my return and made my day. I would definitely choose Orange Hotel if I return to Dalian.

CChris .HIt was so nice to stay with you. The room was very clean and convenient. Staff people were so nice and kind. The location was better than expected. They have a huge mall and movie theater. The mall seems to have everything, including many different restaurants. Breakfast was so good.Coffee and the noodles was good, very homemade type. We felt very comfortable. I appreciate you, folks! Definitely want to come again!

YYugutouThe hotel is good. We upgraded to a twin room when we brought our children. The back door of the hotel leads directly to Xinghai Park, which is very convenient. However, I don’t know if the sign at the hotel door represents the hotel. We made a phone call to book a one-day trip to Lushun for convenience. We agreed that the small group of 10 people was actually a large group of 20+ people. The previous communication mainly required visiting three attractions. As a result, After getting on the bus, we collected 1,300. In the end, we didn't go to any of these three attractions. It felt like a wasted day (they even took us to the Snake House, which included shopping). Please be careful to avoid pitfalls.

GGuest UserThe hotel is conveniently located about a 3-minute walk from Exit D of 西安路(Xianlu) Station, and it takes less than 30 minutes to get to the airport.
Right in front of the hotel, there’s a nightclub and a street lined with food stalls mainly frequented by locals. It gets lively at night. I stayed in a room facing the street, but since it was on the 6th floor, the noise from outside wasn’t too bothersome.
However, the soundproofing between rooms isn’t great. I could hear sounds from neighboring rooms.
The shower and toilet facilities are basic. Note that in some rooms, the bathroom isn’t fully separated from the rest of the space.
Two 500ml bottles of water were provided and replenished daily. Towels were replaced during daily cleaning, but it seemed like the sheets weren’t changed though that might be different for longer stays.
There’s no fridge in the room, but you can ask the front desk to store things in their staff refrigerator if needed.
Foreigners can stay here without any issues. During my 3-night stay, there was a different staff member at the front desk each day, but everyone was friendly and helpful. They actively assisted me when I had any issues, and I’m really grateful for that.
Even if you don’t speak Chinese, using a translation app works fine. For basic things like check-in and check-out, you won’t need Chinese at all.

Facilities: The room facilities are complete, the bathroom is very, very large, I like it very much, the height of the wash basin is relatively low, just suitable for babies to wash their hands, no need to step on the stool, the design is very considerate. There is a naughty castle on the first floor, and you won’t be bored when you take your baby there when the wind is strong. There are also many picture books.
Hygiene: The room is very clean and tidy, and the overall is very new. The quality of shampoo, shower gel and conditioner is very good, much better than chain hotels.
Environment: The hotel is located in a villa, the community where the villa is located is very high-end, and the environment is very good. It is just on the edge of the Golden Coast of Jinshitan, a five-minute walk to the beach, and next to it is Happy Snow World. There is a fireworks show at 6:30 every night. I watched it for two days in a row. It is opposite the balcony. The location can be said to be perfect.
Service: The service is very considerate. There are people who take the initiative to help take the box when coming and leaving, and they will send delicious food to the baby if the baby is unhappy.

GGuest UserThis was my second time choosing this hotel for a layover because it's close to the airport. Last year's stay was great, the price was reasonable, and the receptionist was very friendly and attentive. This year, I booked a standard double room. When I arrived, the receptionist said the window was an interior view window facing the corridor. Since I need a window in my room, I asked how much an exterior view window would cost. I think booking directly through Ctrip usually costs an extra 40+ RMB. Of course, I didn't expect the hotel to upgrade for free, so I asked the receptionist how much extra it would cost. She looked at the computer screen with a calculating expression and said, ”Add 99 RMB.” I said, ”Oh? Isn't it only 40+ RMB?” Then they asked for my ID. I didn't say whether I needed it or not. Seeing that I didn't react, they didn't look at me, still looking at the screen, and said, ”Okay, here's 49 RMB.” I said, ”No need. The original room is fine.” This is supposed to be a proper hotel, but upgrading a room is like a free market?
The TV remote was covered in a thick layer of dust, probably because it wasn't used often and the staff hadn't cleaned it properly. I pressed a button and the TV turned on, but then the remote stopped working. I opened the back cover and saw that the batteries were chewed up and bent out of shape – I wonder how long ago it was? Was it a previous guest or a staff member?
My flight was at 7:30 the next day, so I asked the front desk for a 5:00 wake-up call. The receptionist was very responsible. The hotel doesn't offer airport shuttle service before 7:00, so I hailed a taxi outside the hotel. It was easy to get a taxi.

MMeixingRi Yue Ming offers excellent service in many aspects. We wanted to stay in a locally-owned hotel, and it turned out to be a very wise decision. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful—everyone did their best whenever I asked for something.
There are many local restaurants around the hotel, and Olympia 66 shopping mall is right across the road—just a 3-minute walk away.
Most of the tourist spots were within 20 minutes from the hotel, and there was a convenience store right next door.
I absolutely loved their breakfast and afternoon tea service, which offered a variety of Chinese herbal teas along with plenty of pastries, fruits, and more.
If you want to experience genuine Chinese hospitality, I’d definitely recommend this hotel.
And the manager (I forgot his name) was super friendly—he’ll help you sort out any problems you might have.

CChanelXoI booked this hotel for my boyfriend and I for the National Day holiday. I know he likes being surrounded by nature since we live in the city. I also thought we would try playing golf (we didn't). We had a great time and even when we left the hotel for another hotel, my boyfriend wanted to go back.
Pros
1. The bedroom was huge!
2. The scenery is breathtaking.
3. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
4. The food was delicious.
Cons
1. The bedroom wasn't super clean. We found rat pellets by the window (at least that's what my boyfriend says. I think it could be lizards)
2. There are lots of activities that seem to be inactive due to renovations (possibly due to the covid era) but it seems they are working on restorations.
All in all. I would definitely go back and when this hotel is in it's prime, it will be even more amazing!

GGuest UserI originally booked a king-size bed room without windows, but when I checked in, the front desk lady upgraded me to a family room for free. It has an extra-large double bed and a single bed. The room is large and well decorated. It is very close to Xi'an Road subway station. The price/performance ratio is great. I will stay here again next time. I highly recommend it.
