GGuest UserExcellent customer service from arrival to check out. Staff were prepared & expecting my check in. They able to identify me and greeted me warmly. Registration was efficient and quick. I was escorted to my rooms with my luggage assisted by a male staff(姓谷). Throughout my 7 nights stay, he always greeted me w a smile and unfailingly polite whether at reception lobby or at breakfast( helping me get my coffee and recommending additionals) In fact, all the staff were always courteous when I passed them, giving me directions when approached, offering an umbrella when it was raining on my way out & thus making me feel welcome in Dalian.
The location is right in the heart of Kaifaqu shopping zone and all within walking distance.
I love the 2nd floor lobby layout with free beverages, comfy seats and even a long informal conference table seatings for impromptu meetings. Attractively arranged fruit platters delivered daily to my room always made me smile upon my return and made my day. I would definitely choose Orange Hotel if I return to Dalian.

however If you looking for a privacy friendly please avoid this hotel.
The house keeping team had entered my room 2 times within the 4 days during my stay.
A not-disturb card was hang as well as the not-disturb light was also turned on.
Upon the first enter, I had went to raise the issue with the hotel. The initial reply was the not-disturb card might be ‘moved’ when I opened the door for exiting. Little that they know I had took photo when I make myself leaving the room. On top of that, the no-disturb light was also on too even they falsely claimed card was moved.
Then the hotel replied that ‘oh no, they must of entered the room to tidy up the room’. Yet, the room was NOT tidying up at all.
Again, what’s the purpose for them to enter the room without my consent and my present? I questioned by expressing this may be a careless mistake which I do not wish to happen to anyone anymore, then I had left the scene and leave it as it is.
It HAPPENED AGAIN next day, I was frustrated and questioning the hotel again. They said they will ‘investigate’ and given me an explanation of what was happening. 2 hours later they rang to my room, and informed me that ‘due to you are staying alone with no companion, it is the policy of the hotel to check up on me to make sure I’m safe’
Really? ARE YOU SERIOUS? This is what they replied me of the case. Number 1, if this is the actual reason, why don’t they tell me the first time when this was happened. Number 2, I had clearly stated I do not wish to be disturbed and yet it has not been respected. Number 3, due to the nature of my occupation, I’m staying in different hotel 9 months out of the whole year. I had never ever heard of this.
Long story short, I will not going back to this hotel nor recommend to anyone.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel's location is absolutely fantastic – right outside, you can hop on the subway and buses, which I loved. That's why I'm really satisfied with this hotel. Secondly, the front desk staff here are incredibly patient and helpful, answering all my questions with excellent service. Lastly, I want to praise the soundproofing, which is quite good. There are also plenty of great food options nearby, like the first floor of Dalian Department Store and the Zhongyuan Snack Street right next door, both offering lots of authentic Dalian specialties. All in all, this hotel is definitely worth recommending.

OOlga_CheUnfortunately, this hotel turned out to be the worst of my entire two-week trip around China. The staff was friendly, but they didn't speak any English. Overall, the hotel didn't seem particularly foreign-friendly. Simple requests like a fruit bowl or an adapter to charge phone baffled them. When I checked in, I found a clump of long black hair on the bathroom floor. I had to ask them to wash the floors again. The hotel didn't offer any apologies or compliments for this situation. Breakfasts were the most disappointing part. This hotel was the only place in China where I had a bad meal😭 The noodles and even the stewed cabbage were swimming in oil, everything was overly vinegary and garlicky, and there were no fruits, vegetables, or desserts. I ate there only twice in five days, and both times I suffered from severe heartburn. The positive moments are an ideal location and comfortable beds and pillows. I slept well there, even though the room's windows overlooked the highway and not the park as stated when booking.

GGuest UserI was very satisfied with the room; it was spotless. The hotel facilities are excellent, with everything from a laundry room to a gym. There are also plenty of restaurants nearby, and the transportation is convenient. The front desk service was also great. Highly recommend!

GGuest UserThe hotel is conveniently located about a 3-minute walk from Exit D of 西安路(Xianlu) Station, and it takes less than 30 minutes to get to the airport.
Right in front of the hotel, there’s a nightclub and a street lined with food stalls mainly frequented by locals. It gets lively at night. I stayed in a room facing the street, but since it was on the 6th floor, the noise from outside wasn’t too bothersome.
However, the soundproofing between rooms isn’t great. I could hear sounds from neighboring rooms.
The shower and toilet facilities are basic. Note that in some rooms, the bathroom isn’t fully separated from the rest of the space.
Two 500ml bottles of water were provided and replenished daily. Towels were replaced during daily cleaning, but it seemed like the sheets weren’t changed though that might be different for longer stays.
There’s no fridge in the room, but you can ask the front desk to store things in their staff refrigerator if needed.
Foreigners can stay here without any issues. During my 3-night stay, there was a different staff member at the front desk each day, but everyone was friendly and helpful. They actively assisted me when I had any issues, and I’m really grateful for that.
Even if you don’t speak Chinese, using a translation app works fine. For basic things like check-in and check-out, you won’t need Chinese at all.

QQ. ZhangThe location is excellent, with convenient transportation, especially to the airport. The room was clean and comfortable, well-equipped, making for a great stay.
The front desk staff were incredibly warm and professional, providing a lot of help and making us feel right at home.
The restaurant downstairs was also a pleasant surprise; the food was delicious and completely exceeded our expectations.
Overall, I'm very satisfied with the experience. I'll definitely come back if I have the chance, highly recommended!

The room was spacious and not cramped, the floors and tables were spotless, and the bedding was fresh and dry. It was quiet at night, so both the elderly and children slept soundly. The hotel facilities were comprehensive, and the common areas were clean and tidy, making it convenient for daily relaxation. The service was warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived; the front desk staff thoughtfully guided us on parking and dining locations, and all the staff were enthusiastic. The breakfast selection was rich, catering to both the elderly with porridge and noodles, and children with pastries and desserts. The fruit was fresh, and dishes were continuously refilled, so there was no need to rush for food. Overall, from the rooms, facilities, and service to the dining, everything was impeccable. It offers outstanding value for money and is our top choice for accommodation when traveling. I highly recommend it to friends visiting the area.

GGuest UserI originally booked a king-size bed room without windows, but when I checked in, the front desk lady upgraded me to a family room for free. It has an extra-large double bed and a single bed. The room is large and well decorated. It is very close to Xi'an Road subway station. The price/performance ratio is great. I will stay here again next time. I highly recommend it.
