HHuajiaojiang101We stayed at the boss's house for three days on the recommendation of a friend. The boss and his family were very nice and they had a lot of luggage, so we had to carry it all for us. The boss's house is high up in the stockade, with a 360-degree view of the whole stockade. The scenery is better and quieter than living below. In the past three days, I have tasted the boss's menu all over. I am a picky Sichuanese and I think the craftsmanship is so good. I have three meals a day at the boss's place. Even when I go down the mountain to play, my family will not eat anything from outside. Come back and eat the boss's food. Every morning I wake up to the crowing of the rooster, go for a walk in the fields, and eat a bowl of the boss’s tomato scrambled egg noodles. Both husband and wife are hard-working people. We are grateful for meeting each other and wish the business a prosperous future!
GGangganghaocarinaThe hotel is located on the observation deck, which is very convenient. You can walk down the mountain to the No. 3 Wind and Rain Bridge by the small path. The boss and his wife are quite enthusiastic, helping with luggage and cutting ice watermelon for free! The folk customs of Xijiang Miao Village are still very simple!
GGuest UserThis trip to Kaili was originally planned to include the Miao Village of a Thousand Households, but due to traffic congestion, we decided to go to Langde instead. I'm so glad I chose the Ru Ni Suo Yuan B&B. The B&B was reasonably priced, a real bargain considering the skyrocketing hotel prices in Guizhou. The location was excellent, convenient for getting around, very close to the sightseeing bus stop, and directly opposite the first row of the twelve traditional Miao banquet halls. The balcony had a beautiful balustrade with stunning views. The twin room had two 1.5-meter double beds with mattresses of just the right firmness, making for a very comfortable sleep. I slept soundly until morning. The bathroom had a smart toilet, a stable hot water supply in the shower, and free disposable towels and toilet seat covers—very clean and hygienic. What touched me most was the owner's meticulous care. The owner personally helped us with our luggage during check-in and check-out, enthusiastically recommended local delicacies, and after watching the Miao village performance at noon, I suffered from heatstroke. The owner kindly extended my check-out time and even gave me two bottles of water before I left. I was extremely grateful. It wasn't just the owner's family; the Miao villagers were incredibly hospitable. Near the performance area, there was a place with delicious and generous portions of shaved ice. An auntie invited me to her home for dinner and rice wine. In the evening, while strolling around the village, a Miao grandmother, worried we might get lost, proactively asked if we had any difficulties. The young lady at the photo studio was warm and talkative, sharing many interesting stories… The twelve rounds of welcoming wine and the song and dance performances were spectacular and full of ethnic charm. In short, this trip to Langde was very enjoyable, and I will definitely come back again in the future.
GGuest UserThe location of the accommodation is excellent, very close to Xiaobeimen and near the No. 6 Wind and Rain Bridge, no uphill climb required. Crucially, the balcony offers a fantastic view, overlooking almost the entire mountain pass, and the night view is beautiful! Definitely worth staying here again. The owner is very kind; I had initially missed my check-in dates, but after communicating with the owner, they successfully rescheduled our stay. Thank you so much! (All photos and videos were taken from the balcony.)
MM301789****The hotel has an excellent location and offers a convenient shuttle service. The restaurant is clean and tidy, and the accommodations are comfortable with complete amenities. It's an ideal choice for solo travelers looking for a place to rest and stay.
JJanet, MalaysiaBooked this place because I saw the photos from other reviews. It overlooks the beautiful bridge, river and the main entrance of the village. We can see the daily welcome ceremony right from the room's balcony. Absolutely perfect location!
It is right in front of the bus drop off station. Just need to carry the luggage up the steps to the hotel.
We visited during off peak session, beginning of November. The hotel's coffee place and restaurant are not open. But it is within walking distance to other eateries.
GGuest User”The service was attentive, the scenery was soothing, and it exceeded my expectations!” My family and everyone, from the elderly to the children, raved about our stay. The guesthouse has a fantastic location; although it's halfway up a mountain, the owner personally helped us with our luggage, which was very convenient. Our family room was spacious, clean, and offered unbeatable views! The attention to detail was excellent, making it a truly unforgettable experience – five stars!
GGuest UserThe room was clean and tidy. The boss personally picked us up at the station. The view in the room was particularly beautiful. The mountains in the distance were shrouded in clouds and mist, and the entire village was in sight. The view was even better at night! You can enjoy the beautiful scenery while lying in bed in the morning, it’s like a fairyland!
HHongbizixiaoheideshaonianpeiThe boss personally picks up and drops off, the service is warm and thoughtful, responsive,

MMoonKore9SThe inn itself, as with others, is situated on the high peak of the mountain side. The entire village is situated on the mountain. This is Guizhou, after all So there is a lot of walking up things. That being said, the inn is nice and comfortable and family friendly. The owner is nice and helpful during your stay and the view was beautiful day and night from the window. My biggest advice is to pack very lightly (no large suitcase kind of light). You will be walking up very steep stairs (about 30 large stairs) getting to the inn and right back done when you're checked out.
