The restaurant was a delightful surprise as well, offering exquisite local dishes every evening, all beautifully presented and delicious. We also received a complimentary room upgrade to a spacious suite with a private balcony, which made our entire vacation even more luxurious and comfortable. All in all, every detail here was perfect, elevating it far beyond a typical stay and becoming a cherished memory we'll always look back on fondly."

"I couldn’t be happier with this hotel! Every staff member was incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and truly enjoyed our stay. Before we even arrived, they gave us multiple transportation options to reach the North Gate, where visitors purchase tickets to enter the village. They then met us at the gate, helped us buy our tickets, stored our larger luggage, and guided us through the village to our homestay. They even carried our smaller bags all the way to our room. Along the way, they encouraged me to participate in the village’s traditional welcoming ceremony and treated us to a delicious bowl of noodle soup since we hadn’t eaten yet. What really made this stay unforgettable was that they became our personal tour guide for the day. The tour was educational, fun, and perfectly paced for us. This was a special mother-and-son trip, and my son couldn’t stop talking about how exceptional the service was. Out of our multi-city journey through China, this may have been our favorite stop. To top it all off, they arranged our Didi to the train station and personally escorted us back to the North Gate when it was time to leave. Xiao Guanji and A Rui, you are simply the best! Thank you for making our trip so memorable. We’ll never forget your kindness and hospitality!"

"Decided to visit Guizhou for the Chinese New Year, so I booked this B&B early. The price was great, and all the accommodations on our Guizhou trip were fantastic. This particular B&B has an excellent location; it's just twenty or thirty steps down from the scenic viewpoint in the area. There's also a popular photo spot for travel photography right next to the house. We didn't have to get up too early the next morning, and since no one else was there, we spent half the day taking pictures. We only realized just before leaving that the guesthouse has its own viewpoint with amazing scenery. Our room was clean and tidy, and the view from the window was stunning. The owner was incredibly hospitable, helping us with our luggage, offering tangerines to our child, and even suggesting routes for us. When we came back late after taking photos one evening, I called the owner to ask for an extra pillow. He had just fallen asleep and was woken up, but he wasn't impatient at all. Many say that Qianjiang Miao Village is too commercialized, but exploring it at night, or early in the morning before the crowds arrive, and taking photos in Miao ethnic clothing is still quite enjoyable. "Quiet, safe, and very comfortable guest room with two large beds and a smart toilet🚽Haha, just two minutes outside the door you can enjoy an unparalleled panoramic bird's eye view of the Miao village at night, and the whole family spent a pleasant day."

"Originally rushed to the hotel in Xijiang, found that there was no room, so searched for the homestay! Who knows that the treasure chest store was opened, the boss and the proprietress are local Miao young people, from the telephone communication to the check-in service attitude is very good, that is, Mandarin is a bit incomprehensible haha! Needless to say, the environment in the store is brand new. The outdoor scenery is superb, and there is a small view balcony (not the parents who want to live in the room, don't be misled by me) is very suitable for taking pictures and drinking tea in the evening. Forgive me for not being able to shoot a blockbuster, but it is really good value for money. I heard from the boss and the proprietress that the local Miaojia local dish package will be launched in the later stage, and I will come next time."

"The room was very clean and spacious. The owner even helped us with our luggage from the scenic viewpoint drop-off and back to the pick-up point upon check-out. On the day we checked in, they gave us a whole plate of fruit and explained how to best explore the Miao Village. They also offered free Miao traditional costume experiences, which looked very clean, but we opted for a professional makeup and styling service instead, so we didn't try them out. The breakfast was very generous, and the owner's hand-ground coffee was delicious! They thoughtfully asked if we preferred it hot or cold. All the water and drinks were also complimentary, so we didn't need to buy any in the scenic area. PS: My absolute favorite was the rocking chair in the room – I wish I could get one for my own home, hehe! The projector screen was huge, and the whole room was smart-enabled; you could easily control everything by just saying ”Xiao Du Xiao Du” (the smart assistant's name). I'll definitely recommend this place to my friends if they visit in the future! 😆"

"Staying at Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village for these three nights felt like living among the clouds. I booked three different room types, and each one felt like a custom-made viewing frame. The layered beauty of the Miao village, from the misty mornings to the illuminated 'river of lights' at night, was perfectly framed before my eyes. The biggest surprise was the afternoon tea served daily from 2 PM to 8 PM. Those rose pastries, with their crispy crust enveloping a sweet floral fragrance, left a lingering aftertaste that I still recall fondly. But what truly touched me were the 'people' on this trip. The butler service was impeccable from the moment I arrived at the West Gate. On the way in, they meticulously escorted me and my luggage all the way to my room, and on departure, they handled everything smoothly, allowing me to travel light and simply enjoy the scenery. This kind of thoughtful care made the beauty of the Miao village more than just a landscape; it was a comforting warmth of being truly looked after. Three nights, three perspectives, and consistently thoughtful service. I will definitely be back."
