Perfect
DDeckardLeeThe young man was really helpful; he carried our two suitcases from the mountaintop halfway down. The tatami room was great. At night, we could lie down, enjoy some late-night snacks and drinks, and admire the night view of the Miao village across the way. It felt very relaxing and wonderful.
BBobeanbaboIt's the most beautiful and worthwhile hotel.
- Easy access from the Nortg gate and easy to go to the main village area and restaurants. Just 3-5 mins walk, don't have to climb a lot of stairs.
- The staff are kind and helpful, always guiding me around the tourist spots, helping with luggage, and helping me carry them down the stairs.
- There are traditional clothes for free, there are photo spots at the hotel, and there are roof props for taking photos with the village.
- The room is really nice, beautiful as in the picture, clean and fully equipped. The view from the balcony is beautiful.
**Highly recommended. I'm very impressed with this hotel.
WWong Siew KamThis hotel location is the best location in Miao village. This hotel not too high just walk some few stairs only still can manage by children and old folk. Half hill fantastic view look at village and rice field. U may walk around at rice field for photo. Balcony room super good view, big projector tv. Have a cup of tea at the balcony very relax. Free Breakfast is set tasty. 1 small washer 1 dryer add on service
Many restaurant and street food near by and Hotel manager helped carry luggage up to hotel by early arrange required. We order private buggy trsf from Xi Jiang west gate to hotel 4km approx China yuan 50 per pax due to we hv big luggage- pre arrange with hotel. For those small luggage u may take normal tourist buggy 5 yuan per way Xijiang west gate entrance to bridge 1 一号风雨桥 then walk 2-3 mins to hotel or call hotel manager come meet u at bridge 1 station, hotel manager very helpful help me arrange private car trsf back to Kaili South station 高铁站 with reasonable price. Hotel very new. For sure will stay here again due to hotel super relax feel and super quiet.
GGuest UserThey created a WeChat group beforehand to provide guidance on check-in/check-out and other important notes. The butler met us at the sightseeing shuttle drop-off point and even helped with our luggage when we left. Their service was excellent. The room was a bit small and had low ceilings, but it was well-equipped, even featuring a projector. Located on the hillside, the room offered a nice night view.
GGuest UserThis B&B's location is excellent, with its own private viewing deck and adorable little cats. The owner also provides various props and costumes for DIY photoshoots, which essentially saves you the cost of finding a scenic spot for photography. The service is also superb; the owner even came to pick us up at Xiaobeimen. The B&B isn't high up, so you don't have to climb for long. I hope to have the chance to visit again!
GGuest UserThe location is absolutely unbeatable! It's just 50 meters from the observation deck, a two-minute walk straight there. No crowds, no uphill climbs – you can easily catch the rolling sea of clouds in the morning and the twinkling city lights at sunset. This is the ultimate viewing spot, a dream come true for anyone who loves convenience! The room was so quiet I could hear the chirping of insects. The Wabi-sabi style decor was incredibly tasteful, with solid wood furniture and rattan soft furnishings creating a perfect mountain wilderness ambiance. And the cleanliness was impeccable; the bedding was soft and gentle on the skin, and every corner was spotless. Even a neat freak like me felt completely at ease, able to relax and recover from travel fatigue.
The butler service was thoughtful to its core! From route guidance before entering the village to luggage transfer upon arrival and recommendations for sightseeing, it was a personalized, one-on-one service that catered to every request, just like a friend. The hand-drawn map was very detailed. The biggest surprise was the free batik experience! An intangible cultural heritage inheritor taught us hand-on, from drawing patterns with beeswax to indigo dyeing. Making a unique batik piece with my own hands, bringing home a thousand-year-old craft from the Miao village, was incredibly fulfilling.
The guesthouse also offers Miao costume experiences and has a café. The public areas are super photogenic, allowing you to capture atmospheric shots without needing filters. It's away from the hustle and bustle of the main Miao village street yet close to the core scenic area, offering both tranquility and convenience.
Qi Feng Xin Hou Shan packages intangible cultural heritage, attentive service, and stunning scenery all into one. This is exactly what travel should be like!
GGuest UserTwo days ago, I went on a business trip to Kaili with my colleagues. We decided to stay in Qianhu Miao Village for one night, so the hotel was booked casually. But it really exceeded our expectations. My colleagues and I were very satisfied. Excellent service attitude: To be honest, service attitude is the soul of a homestay. It is really healing to be well respected and served when you are away from home. We started by booking the hotel. Brother Liu sent the address and told us the route to the hotel in detail. When we arrived at the place, there would be a special person to pick us up. From the door to the homestay, the brother would also explain to us constantly and wait patiently for us to take pictures. In the evening, the brother took us to the rooftop, where there were free rice wine and peach wine to taste (rice wine and peach wine were really delicious). The view of the rooftop was even more beautiful. The brother and sister had a very good attitude throughout the whole process, very careful, and a great sense of proportion. I was ”great, thank you, thank you ☺️” throughout the whole process. Hotel facilities: Objectively speaking, we booked a basic room type, so the house area was a little cramped, and the house facilities were not too new. But!!! Looking out from the facilities in the room, the scenery is really amazing! Open the window, the bright moon in the mountains, the breeze, thousands of bright lights ~ at that moment, I really felt that this trip was worth it.
Wall! Crack! Recommend!
HHailiwoniuI highly recommend staying at this guesthouse. The location is absolutely fantastic, both day and night! It's truly the best vantage point in the entire scenic area. Any designated observation decks in the area simply can't compare. The photos and videos I took from my guesthouse balcony turned out amazing. The facilities are excellent, and the environment is exceptionally clean. Most notably, the owner's service attitude is just wonderful. Having visited numerous scenic spots across the country, I consider this to be the number one guesthouse I've ever stayed at.
GGuest UserXijiang Qianhu Miao Village Xiangsu Light Luxury Hotel was absolutely stunning! The service was warm and attentive; they proactively helped with luggage and offered tips for exploring. The room was clean and elegant, with an incredible panoramic view. At night, you're surrounded by the myriad lights of the Miao village. Their viewing platform has unique features like 'reaching for the roof,' an internet-famous bed, and an infinity pool – every photo you take turns out perfectly. Plus, their dining and travel photography services are excellent; the food was delicious, and the photographer was very professional. It's a perfect luxury experience, highly recommended!
GGuest UserI stayed in Xijiang Miao Village for two nights, and I'm so glad I chose this guesthouse. From my bed, I could overlook the stunning spectacle of a thousand households lit up at night. In the morning, opening the window revealed terraced fields and stilt houses shrouded in mist, like a traditional Chinese ink painting. The location is perfect – the surroundings are quiet, yet it's just a short walk to the bustling center of Miao Village. Plus, there's no need to climb stairs with luggage; the host contacted us in advance, guided us, and even helped carry our bags to the room, which was incredibly thoughtful. Watching the thousand-household Miao Village from the balcony at night with a gentle breeze was an absolutely perfect experience! Every little corner of the guesthouse has a great ambiance: the outdoor balcony, rooftop, fire pit, and cafe. The room was clean and cozy, and the housekeeper provided attentive service throughout our stay. In the morning, there was a comforting breakfast, and the hot noodle soup was absolutely delicious!
