GGuest UserSeriously, I have to highlight this: our butler was amazing! Super friendly, attentive, and always went above and beyond, paying attention to every little detail. The inn is located halfway up the mountain, offering unparalleled views. You don't need to crowd onto the public observation decks; you get to enjoy the panoramic views of the Miao Village all to yourself. We took the shuttle to the village's viewpoint, and it was so crowded and tiring. When we got back to the inn, we realized the private view from there was much more relaxing and enjoyable.
The room gets great natural light and was spotlessly clean. Both the balcony and the room itself are fantastic for photos, looking good day or night. The front desk even has fill lights available for taking portraits with the night view, so your own photos turn out beautifully. They also provided us with a tourist guide booklet. In the evening, the butler could even help us draw a bath, with options for milk baths or Yao ethnic baths. This inn offers incredible value for money. I'll definitely be staying here again on my next visit!

GGuest UserThe butler contacted me a day in advance. We agreed to meet at the west gate, and as soon as he saw us, he helped with our luggage and accompanied us all the way to the hotel. He even prepared afternoon tea for us beforehand. The hotel's location isn't far from the observation deck, which is very convenient!
The service was excellent. Since there weren't many people, they even helped us upgrade our room.
The room's view was absolutely stunning. I didn't want to leave the room; I could lie down and see the entire Miao village, with its water, bridges, and tiled houses, all from a prime spot. There's also an observation deck upstairs, which is definitely on par with any other popular photo spot in the village.
After visiting all the popular spots in the Miao village, I still felt that the view from the room was the best.
Next time I visit, I'll definitely stay here again!

GGuest UserBefore we even checked in, the customer service team reached out to confirm our arrival time and sent us a lot of helpful information. On the day we arrived, our butler was already waiting for us at the ticket gate and helped us with our luggage all the way â we really appreciate it! After checking in, the butler gave us a detailed overview of the scenic routes and activities available at the B&B, showing incredible care, patience, and responsibility đ. Even after checking out, they helped us take our luggage to the entrance, truly going above and beyond! The B&B's location is also fantastic â no stairs to climb; you get off the sightseeing bus right there. It's perfectly situated by the observation deck with unbeatable views. Our only regret is that our stay was too short this time, and we didn't get to fully experience everything. We'll definitely be back!

GGuest UserI never expected the biggest surprise of my trip to be this guesthouse in the Miao Village! đ The hotel's location is excellent, right next to the observation deck. If you enter from the West Gate, you just walk a bit and then take the shuttle bus directly to the hotel. This is quite important in Miao Village, as you wouldn't want to carry your luggage up and down. You can enjoy the view from both the room and the lobby lounge. On a rainy day, this spot is perfect for enjoying the scenery, much better than being out with all the other tourists. The room facilities are very new and high-quality, definitely on par with a five-star hotel. The mini-fridge in the room is thoughtfully stocked with drinks, and we were even treated to afternoon tea upon arrival. Self-service laundry is also available, which was super convenient since our clothes were damp from the past two days â we could wash and dry them. The housekeeper was incredibly warm and friendly; she handled our transfers and helped us with our luggage the whole way. Breakfast is made-to-order, very fresh and delicious. If you're traveling to Xijiang, I truly highly recommend this guesthouse.

Ambiance: Very stylish design, especially the ground floor in the evening, which has a fantastic vibe.
Cleanliness: Spotless, on par with five-star hotels.
Service: The room butler was incredibly attentive. The staff member helped with our luggage the whole time, and communication via WeChat was prompt and responsive. The complimentary sweet soup at night and the nutritious breakfast were both excellent.
Location: Also very convenient.

1. The location is excellent, right near the observation deck, offering stunning panoramic views of the Miao Village. Just a short walk down, and you're in the bustling main street, making dining and shopping incredibly convenient.
2. The service, in particular, is exceptionally thoughtful. On the day we checked in, the staff member who picked us up also provided us with a lovely breakfast. Then, the front deskĺ°ĺ§ĺ§ (a polite way to refer to a female staff member) patiently helped us choose outfits and headwear for our travel photos â it was truly wonderful.
3. Another small detail that pleasantly surprised me was that I always travel with my Dyson hairdryer. To my delight, this hotel room actually provided a Dyson hairdryer, complete with two styling attachments. The service is genuinely so considerate.
I will definitely be recommending this place to my friends.

HHailiwoniuI highly recommend staying at this guesthouse. The location is absolutely fantastic, both day and night! It's truly the best vantage point in the entire scenic area. Any designated observation decks in the area simply can't compare. The photos and videos I took from my guesthouse balcony turned out amazing. The facilities are excellent, and the environment is exceptionally clean. Most notably, the owner's service attitude is just wonderful. Having visited numerous scenic spots across the country, I consider this to be the number one guesthouse I've ever stayed at.

GGuest UserWe arrived in Xijiang and were immediately met with such a kind surpriseâthey upgraded our room for my birthday, which truly set the tone for our entire stay. We were on the third floor with the most wonderful view, looking out over their little water feature and the village beyond. Our balcony, complete with a tea set and two chairs, quickly became one of our favorite spots. Sitting there, especially in the evening, felt magicalâlike we were nestled among the stars overlooking the town.
The location is fantasticâjust a short walk from the viewing platform and easily accessible down into the main village. Arriving was also incredibly smooth. As first-time visitors to China, we were quite nervous navigating trains and logistics as English speakers, but the hotel staff stepped in early with clear, thoughtful guidance. From the very beginning, they were attentive, responsive, and genuinely kind.
When we arrived at the North Gate after taking the shuttle into the scenic area, a staff member met us and carried both of our bags up the hill and stairs to the accommodation. This was such a thoughtful gestureâespecially because the terrain can be challenging. (For future travelers: if possible, avoid bringing heavy suitcasesâbut if you do, youâll be very well taken care of here.)
Check-in was seamless, and our room was extremely comfortable with all the amenities we needed. They provided water, soft robes, and made communication very easy via WeChat. Breakfast was also a highlightâwe opted for the Chinese breakfast, which was light, healthy, and a perfect way to start the day before exploring all the incredible street food in town.
We especially loved the communal living spaceâa cozy cafĂŠ-style area with a balcony overlooking the village. It was such a peaceful place to sit, have tea, and take in the views both during the day and under the night sky. They also had everything you could need: a coffee maker, dishes, mugs, and even fresh spring water, which was a lovely touch.
The warmth of the people here truly made the experience unforgettable. The housekeeping staff were so kind, and the younger staff members were incredibly helpful and attentive. It really felt like being welcomed into a home rather than just staying at a hotel. And the little cats around the property made it even more special.
On our departure day, we were running late for the last bus, and one of the younger staff members carried my very heavy bag down the hill and practically ran with it to make sure we made it on time. He stayed with us until we were safely on board. That level of care and service is something we will never forget.
We would return in a heartbeat. Thank you, thank you, thank you again to the family and the entire staff for your kindness and for taking such wonderful care of us. You made our short stay in Xijiang an absolute pleasure and a weekend we will remember forever.

JJinkismA beautiful and memorable stay right in the heart of the old town. Although the accommodation is located higher up and requires climbing some stairs, it was not tiring at all because the staff kindly helped carry our luggage all the way from the bottom to the hotel.
The room itself was stunning, with large windows that offered the most breathtaking panoramic view of the old town. Honestly, it felt like one of the best viewpoints in the area. Every corner was picture-perfect.
The design was especially impressive, blending beautifully with the historic atmosphere through elegant vintage-style decor while still providing modern comforts. The amenities were complete, thoughtfully arranged, and equipped with smart automatic features. The shower was amazing too, with strong water pressure that made it extra satisfying.
The owner was warm and friendly, offering great local restaurant recommendations that made exploring even better. The location was also excellent, just a short walk from a nearby scenic viewpoint.
Perfect for anyone who wants charm, comfort, beautiful views, and an authentic old town experience.

GGuest UserI stayed in Xijiang Miao Village for two nights, and I'm so glad I chose this guesthouse. From my bed, I could overlook the stunning spectacle of a thousand households lit up at night. In the morning, opening the window revealed terraced fields and stilt houses shrouded in mist, like a traditional Chinese ink painting. The location is perfect â the surroundings are quiet, yet it's just a short walk to the bustling center of Miao Village. Plus, there's no need to climb stairs with luggage; the host contacted us in advance, guided us, and even helped carry our bags to the room, which was incredibly thoughtful. Watching the thousand-household Miao Village from the balcony at night with a gentle breeze was an absolutely perfect experience! Every little corner of the guesthouse has a great ambiance: the outdoor balcony, rooftop, fire pit, and cafe. The room was clean and cozy, and the housekeeper provided attentive service throughout our stay. In the morning, there was a comforting breakfast, and the hot noodle soup was absolutely delicious!
