"This stay far exceeded my expectations, and I wholeheartedly recommend it. The entire property was meticulously clean, the bedding was comfortable, and the living environment felt very reassuring. The room had an expansive view; opening the window revealed a beautiful landscape, maximizing the scenic experience. The dining was a pleasant surprise: breakfast was abundant and delicious with fresh ingredients, and dinner dishes were exquisite and outstandingly flavorful. Everything from the environment and cleanliness to the food was impeccable. It was a very pleasant stay with incredible value for money. I highly recommend everyone to stay here!!!"

"Beautiful hotel, nice and spacious room, great location and excellent staff. The location is close to a park, the pedestrian street if you want street food and near a mall if you want some more upscale food options. Easy to find and get a taxi/didi to anywhere you need to go.
Our room had a separate living room and 2 bathrooms, with good views of the city. We had a couple requests that the staff graciously accommodated. If we come back to Kaili, we will choose this hotel again!"

"I specifically chose to travel in May, avoiding public holidays, and the experience was exceptionally pleasant. The hotel's location is superb, right next to the observation deck, and the scenic shuttle bus stop is very close by. I didn't have to drag my luggage for a long distance, which was a relief since I initially read guides saying it would be exhausting carrying bags. Here, you don't have to worry about that at all.
The owner was incredibly welcoming and even came to pick me up personally. They also provided tips on how to explore the area. The room offered a spectacular view; opening the window revealed the entire Miao village. The room was clean and tidy. Being on the mountaintop, it was also quiet, allowing me to sleep in until I naturally woke up. During the day, the shuttle bus was nearby, making it easy to head down the mountain for sightseeing and photos. As night fell, I enjoyed a local specialty drink, accompanied by the beautiful nightscape of the Miao village. Such leisurely and comfortable moments were truly enchanting."

The location is superb, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the village and finding local specialty dishes. The front desk and guesthouse staff were exceptionally warm and attentive, promptly addressing any needs and showing great patience and care. The daily complimentary fruit platter was a highlight—diverse, fresh, and deliciously sweet. Our room was spotless and well-organized, feeling spacious and bright. All facilities were well-maintained, ensuring a very comfortable stay. Every aspect exceeded our expectations; the attention to detail was truly impressive, and it offered excellent value for money. "The room was easy to find, right below the observation deck. The owner came to pick us up and even helped with our bags. I was traveling with elderly family and children, so it was convenient to just take the sightseeing car to the observation deck. Staying high up, you get a great view. The night view was beautiful; you could see the performance area. We sat on the balcony at night enjoying the view, and woke up to beautiful scenery in the morning too. Coming during the off-season meant fewer crowds and comfortable weather, not too hot. I'd definitely come back again. The owner even has a special photo spot for guests, with props like 'climbing onto the roof' and another where someone is lying down – it was really cool and a great photo op. I highly recommend staying here. The guesthouse was very clean. It was great not having to squeeze with the crowds at the observation deck."

"If you're visiting Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village, you absolutely *must* stay at Luanxi Yunshe! The location is phenomenal – just a few minutes' walk from the viewing platform. Our room even had its own balcony with a view, so we didn't have to battle crowds. We could literally lie in bed and watch the entire Miao village light up at night. Sunrise and cloudscapes were also stunning and made for amazing photos without any effort.
The guesthouse is newly renovated, beautifully blending traditional Miao stilt-house architecture with a minimalist design. It's fully smart-home equipped, with a latex mattress, Dyson hairdryer, and a smart toilet – all top-notch amenities. The cleanliness was impeccable, not a speck of dust anywhere, and the soundproofing was excellent; it was incredibly quiet at night.
The butler service was incredibly thoughtful throughout our stay. They contacted us in advance to guide us and even carried our luggage. We received complimentary welcome fruit upon arrival, enjoyed a delicious afternoon tea, and were treated to a warming fermented rice dessert soup before bed.
They also offer free Miao ethnic costume rentals, and the courtyard and terrace have fantastic photo opportunities, with a professional travel photography service available. It’s perfectly situated – tucked away from the main hustle but still convenient for getting around and dining. The attention to detail in their service is outstanding. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next trip to Miao Village!"

"The B&B is very close to Bridge No. 1 and not far from where Baidu cars can drop you off, so the location is excellent. They can also help with your luggage. The room has a fantastic view, overlooking the entire Miao village, and the lights at night are especially beautiful. We were lucky to have clear weather, so the daytime view was also superb. It's very convenient to get to the cable car from the Xiaobeimen (Small North Gate). The room itself was very clean and warm, with air conditioning and an electric blanket. It was a really great experience, and the owner even has cute cats!"

GGuest UserThe room was very clean with stunning views from the window. Our room type even had a small balcony, perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning and feeling completely relaxed. The bedding was super comfortable, and I slept really well. Fresh fruit was provided daily, along with late-night glutinous rice balls (tangyuan), and the rice noodles for breakfast were delicious. A special shout-out to the staff, who were all exceptional. They created a group chat a day in advance to go over important details and helped with luggage pickup and drop-off at the scenic area entrance upon arrival and departure. Any needs could be communicated directly to the butler in the chat. A truly wonderful stay!

GGuest UserBefore we even checked in, the customer service team reached out to confirm our arrival time and sent us a lot of helpful information. On the day we arrived, our butler was already waiting for us at the ticket gate and helped us with our luggage all the way – we really appreciate it! After checking in, the butler gave us a detailed overview of the scenic routes and activities available at the B&B, showing incredible care, patience, and responsibility 👍. Even after checking out, they helped us take our luggage to the entrance, truly going above and beyond! The B&B's location is also fantastic – no stairs to climb; you get off the sightseeing bus right there. It's perfectly situated by the observation deck with unbeatable views. Our only regret is that our stay was too short this time, and we didn't get to fully experience everything. We'll definitely be back!

This B&B is nestled in the mountains, and opening the window reveals an endless panorama of green hills and staggered stilt houses – truly a healing and tranquil natural landscape. The location is a huge plus; it's very close to the main scenic area road and transportation hubs, making it super convenient to explore the village and get in and out of the area without long detours or steep climbs.
The most heartwarming part was the incredibly genuine owner. We had a lot of luggage, and he proactively helped us carry it up and down, saving us the fatigue of hauling heavy bags up the mountain. The service was thoughtful and attentive. The room was clean and tidy, and the mountain air was fresh. During the day, we watched the misty mountain views, and in the evening, we enjoyed the glittering lights of the Miao Village. The overall atmosphere of our stay was perfect. It's excellent value for money. Staying here in Xijiang was absolutely spot-on, no regrets at all. I'll definitely choose this place again next time and wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone!

1️⃣ **Exceptional Service:** The owner reached out proactively before we even arrived. We had just gotten to the North Gate with our luggage, and he came right out to meet us, effortlessly carrying a suitcase in each hand up the slopes without breaking a sweat. When we left, he even helped us carry them back down. In a hilly place like the Miao Village, this kind of service is a huge plus and made us feel incredibly safe and cared for!
2️⃣ **Prime Location:** The guesthouse is located right behind the museum, which is very convenient.
3️⃣ **Attention to Detail:** The room was spotlessly clean and had a subtle, pleasant aroma. The bedding was just the right firmness. What touched us most was that after we stayed out late, the owner waited up for us, making sure we got back safely before he went to bed. It truly felt like coming home, and that warmth was wonderful.

GGuest UserOur trip to the Miao village was very smooth, and the B&B experience exceeded our expectations. The owner was incredibly welcoming, contacting us beforehand and sending someone to meet us, help with our luggage, and guide us from the village entrance to the B&B. Since the B&B is located on the hillside with a great view, the owner also advised us not to bring too much luggage, so we just carried backpacks. Due to the rain, the stone steps were a bit slippery, but luckily the B&B's location is excellent, only a 5-minute walk to Bridge No. 5, which was very convenient. The owner even thoughtfully prepared afternoon tea and sweet soup for us!
Our room had a terrace with a panoramic view of the entire Miao village, overlooking it all was truly delightful and enjoyable. It was a wonderful experience, and if I visit again, I'll definitely stay here! 😁😁

HHailiwoniuI highly recommend staying at this guesthouse. The location is absolutely fantastic, both day and night! It's truly the best vantage point in the entire scenic area. Any designated observation decks in the area simply can't compare. The photos and videos I took from my guesthouse balcony turned out amazing. The facilities are excellent, and the environment is exceptionally clean. Most notably, the owner's service attitude is just wonderful. Having visited numerous scenic spots across the country, I consider this to be the number one guesthouse I've ever stayed at.

GGuest UserWe arrived in Xijiang and were immediately met with such a kind surprise—they upgraded our room for my birthday, which truly set the tone for our entire stay. We were on the third floor with the most wonderful view, looking out over their little water feature and the village beyond. Our balcony, complete with a tea set and two chairs, quickly became one of our favorite spots. Sitting there, especially in the evening, felt magical—like we were nestled among the stars overlooking the town.
The location is fantastic—just a short walk from the viewing platform and easily accessible down into the main village. Arriving was also incredibly smooth. As first-time visitors to China, we were quite nervous navigating trains and logistics as English speakers, but the hotel staff stepped in early with clear, thoughtful guidance. From the very beginning, they were attentive, responsive, and genuinely kind.
When we arrived at the North Gate after taking the shuttle into the scenic area, a staff member met us and carried both of our bags up the hill and stairs to the accommodation. This was such a thoughtful gesture—especially because the terrain can be challenging. (For future travelers: if possible, avoid bringing heavy suitcases—but if you do, you’ll be very well taken care of here.)
Check-in was seamless, and our room was extremely comfortable with all the amenities we needed. They provided water, soft robes, and made communication very easy via WeChat. Breakfast was also a highlight—we opted for the Chinese breakfast, which was light, healthy, and a perfect way to start the day before exploring all the incredible street food in town.
We especially loved the communal living space—a cozy café-style area with a balcony overlooking the village. It was such a peaceful place to sit, have tea, and take in the views both during the day and under the night sky. They also had everything you could need: a coffee maker, dishes, mugs, and even fresh spring water, which was a lovely touch.
The warmth of the people here truly made the experience unforgettable. The housekeeping staff were so kind, and the younger staff members were incredibly helpful and attentive. It really felt like being welcomed into a home rather than just staying at a hotel. And the little cats around the property made it even more special.
On our departure day, we were running late for the last bus, and one of the younger staff members carried my very heavy bag down the hill and practically ran with it to make sure we made it on time. He stayed with us until we were safely on board. That level of care and service is something we will never forget.
We would return in a heartbeat. Thank you, thank you, thank you again to the family and the entire staff for your kindness and for taking such wonderful care of us. You made our short stay in Xijiang an absolute pleasure and a weekend we will remember forever.

GGuest UserI stayed in Xijiang Miao Village for two nights, and I'm so glad I chose this guesthouse. From my bed, I could overlook the stunning spectacle of a thousand households lit up at night. In the morning, opening the window revealed terraced fields and stilt houses shrouded in mist, like a traditional Chinese ink painting. The location is perfect – the surroundings are quiet, yet it's just a short walk to the bustling center of Miao Village. Plus, there's no need to climb stairs with luggage; the host contacted us in advance, guided us, and even helped carry our bags to the room, which was incredibly thoughtful. Watching the thousand-household Miao Village from the balcony at night with a gentle breeze was an absolutely perfect experience! Every little corner of the guesthouse has a great ambiance: the outdoor balcony, rooftop, fire pit, and cafe. The room was clean and cozy, and the housekeeper provided attentive service throughout our stay. In the morning, there was a comforting breakfast, and the hot noodle soup was absolutely delicious!

這家民宿的服務細節直接拉滿，完全顛覆了我對普通民宿的認知。入住前一天工作人員就主動聯繫我們，根據我們的行程定製專屬出行攻略，細緻告知入園路線和遊玩技巧，提前規避很多踩坑問題。抵達苗寨後，看着其他遊客拖着沉重行李箱艱難趕路，我們全程格外輕鬆，管家小哥全程貼心幫忙提拿行李，省心又暖心。進店後還送上冰鎮西瓜，清甜解暑，瞬間吹散了登山趕路的疲憊，體驗感直接拉滿。
店家的貼心不止於此，提前為我們開好空調，推門而入就是清爽涼意，舒適度十足。店長還會拿着地圖耐心講解遊玩路線，不盲目吹捧，客觀告知每條路線的優缺點和遊玩重點，攻略中肯又實用，讓人倍感真誠親切。民宿位置拿捏得恰到好處，不遠不近十分宜居，下樓三分鐘直達熱鬧商業街，出行吃喝超級方便，同時遠離喧鬧，夜晚安靜不嘈雜，還能獨享整片苗寨絕美夜景，觀景視野絕佳。

TTey katelynI love the view of the hotel, although some of the furniture's are a little bit torn in the living room but the ones in the room are clean and tidy !
The owner has a really cute corgi, and he's very friendly in guiding us despite calling him multiple times a day to ask him for direction , bus transfer, and luggage transfer.
I would recommend not to bring too heavy items like I did because the route to the hotel is a bit far and difficult until the bus station.
It's a really chill hotel that's near another viewing point for the paddy field . The design is good too!
Thanks to the kitchen , I managed to cook my own supper, and there's a convenience store right outside the hotel too.
