Before coming, I was curious why the reviews were so good. After staying, I understood. Pros: The room environment was comfortable and clean, and I slept very well. The owner thoughtfully prepared many disposable items, including face towels, bath towels, and bath bags. The owner's service attitude was very enthusiastic, answering all my questions. When I left, I realized I'd forgotten something, and he specially came out to bring it to me. I successfully caught my ride, I'm truly grateful to the owner. Minor Cons: The hotel's location is a bit tucked away with many stairs, but the owner will help you carry your luggage from the drop-off point in the middle of the scenic area to your room, so it's not a huge problem. However, you do have to carry your luggage from the scenic area entrance onto the vehicle and then all the way to the drop-off point yourself, unless you pay for the scenic area's luggage transportation service to deliver it directly to the hotel and back to the scenic area entrance. The room view was only okay, but the view from the observation deck was still spectacular. The faucet in the room had a small leak, but it didn't have a big impact. The hotel has no elevator, and goes up to the fourth floor, but each step is of medium to slightly low height, so personally, I didn't find climbing them very strenuous. Summary: 4.5/5 Given the owner's enthusiasm and the room's cleanliness, I personally feel it's better than most guesthouses in the scenic area. Highly recommended!

This is a fantastic guesthouse! I don't usually like staying in guesthouses because I always feel the environment and cleanliness are disappointing. This time, however, I wanted to see the night view of the Miao Village, so I had no choice but to stay within the scenic area. I chose two listed guesthouses and compared them before booking Yue She. It certainly didn't disappoint! First, their service was incredibly thoughtful. Even at 9 pm, they sent two staff members to pick us up at the North Gate, help with our luggage, and show us the way. The hotel's exterior is unassuming, but the interior is surprisingly spacious and charming. Sitting on the terrace in my room, I had a panoramic view of the entire Miao Village at night – absolutely amazing! The room was clean, tidy, and comfortable; you could tell the owners had put a lot of thought into it, paying attention to detail. The lovely receptionist was incredibly warm and attentive, the young butler was also very considerate, and the experienced steward truly touched me, helping us carry our largest suitcase up and down the stairs. The breakfast wasn't lavish, but it tasted like home. Overall, I was very satisfied!

When we arrived at the viewing platform, the butler, Xiaozhou, came to help us with our luggage and guided us all the way to Yuepeak·Vacation Homestay. The service attitude was super good. There was afternoon tea, and the breakfast in the morning was also delicious. Butler Xiaozhou was wonderful, taking care of us in such a thoughtful and meticulous way. The room was very clean and beautiful, with an amazing view. It was super photogenic and great for taking pictures. Highly recommended!!

The location is excellent, right at the No. 4 covered bridge, offering fantastic views, especially at night. You can take a sightseeing bus from the No. 1 covered bridge to the viewing platform, saving you the trouble of carrying your luggage up the mountain.

Highly recommend this hotel for its breathtaking Miao Village views! The room was spotless and elegantly decorated, with soft furnishings that exuded warmth and style. The bedding was high-quality, ensuring a super comfortable sleep. It boasts an unbeatable front-row view; open the door and you're greeted by endless terraced fields and sprawling ancient Miao villages, with lush greenery stretching as far as the eye can see. The viewing balcony created an incredible ambiance. The environment was quiet and serene, yet convenient for getting around. The service was meticulous and attentive, offering an immersive experience of the local customs and traditions of Southeast Guizhou. It's truly a top choice for accommodation, I can't recommend it enough!

The room was very clean, and the owners were incredibly welcoming. The location is excellent – no uphill climbs, as the guesthouse is right by the road, yet surprisingly quiet. The rooms are built with solid concrete, so the soundproofing is fantastic. The overall environment is clean, bright, and feels spacious. All the facilities in the room are brand new and complete, and every area is spotlessly clean, making it very reassuring. Both the owner and his wife are very hospitable and provide excellent service, offering great value for money and a wonderful experience. We were traveling with elderly family members, and the owner even helped us assist them. I found the pillow a bit high, and the owner immediately brought a lower one, which was so thoughtful. Very satisfied!

The owner is a local, very kind and chatty. He called in advance to tell us to get off at the North Gate, then take another car to the Small North Gate. If you tell him beforehand, he'll come help with your luggage, and even carried it to our room. The room itself was clean, tidy, and comfortable. From the balcony, you can see the scenery of the outside suspension bridge, and both day and night views are excellent! (However, there's a garbage truck nearby that can be a bit noisy when it collects trash after midnight, though the owner did provide earplugs. Also, at night, there are some street vendors grilling in the alley downstairs, which can lead to a bit of a smoke smell). Despite these minor points, the overall experience was great. It was especially pleasant to sit on the balcony and enjoy the scenery when it rained during the day. The owner even gave us a small gift when we checked out, which made us very happy! 😃

I couldn’t be happier with this hotel! Every staff member was incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and truly enjoyed our stay. Before we even arrived, they gave us multiple transportation options to reach the North Gate, where visitors purchase tickets to enter the village. They then met us at the gate, helped us buy our tickets, stored our larger luggage, and guided us through the village to our homestay. They even carried our smaller bags all the way to our room. Along the way, they encouraged me to participate in the village’s traditional welcoming ceremony and treated us to a delicious bowl of noodle soup since we hadn’t eaten yet. What really made this stay unforgettable was that they became our personal tour guide for the day. The tour was educational, fun, and perfectly paced for us. This was a special mother-and-son trip, and my son couldn’t stop talking about how exceptional the service was. Out of our multi-city journey through China, this may have been our favorite stop. To top it all off, they arranged our Didi to the train station and personally escorted us back to the North Gate when it was time to leave. Xiao Guanji and A Rui, you are simply the best! Thank you for making our trip so memorable. We’ll never forget your kindness and hospitality!

Comfortable and Convenient Stay with Thoughtful Host We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The room is new and equipped with smart controls, making it very comfortable and modern. It is the same as the picture. They had a lift too which is suitable for seniors and children. The owner is fantastic — they assisted us with several parcel collections from Taobao, which was a huge help since collecting them ourselves would have been inconvenient. At the last minute, they even helped purchase a birthday cake for my nephew from the city, which we truly appreciated. The location is excellent, with plenty of food options nearby. It’s also a great alternative for families who want to explore the area without staying in the Ancient Town — dragging luggage and changing buses there can be challenging. Whenever we were tired, we could simply take a Didi back to the hotel, and it drops you right at the door. Overall, this is a highly recommended stay for anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and a host who goes the extra mile!

It was our first time visiting here, and we booked a homestay run by a local family. We spent two wonderful nights in this traditional Miao stilt house. The host met us near the North Gate and looked after us incredibly well throughout our stay. They introduced us to local Miao customs and traditions. Even with the language barrier, their warmth never faded. They treated us to classic local sour fish hot pot and let us try traditional ethnic costumes. Every night, we admired the breathtaking sea of twinkling lights covering thousands of Miao households right from our private balcony. What touched us most was the hostess—she even escorted us out of the scenic area at 2 a.m. and helped us get a taxi to the airport. We are truly grateful! Wishing the hosts every prosperity! Among all these countless glowing lanterns, there is one light that feels like I lit myself.
