GGuest UserDuring the few days I stayed at the Dongye Hotel, the experience was very good, and I must praise it!
First of all, I have to talk about the service. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, the enthusiasm of the staff made me feel warm. The efficiency of checking in was super high, and they also took the initiative to help with luggage and introduce the surrounding travel guide. The thoughtfulness in the details really added points.
I also praise the butler service, which is definitely a highlight of Dongye! The butler always responded to any needs during our stay. In the morning, I wanted to have an extra breakfast delivered to the room, and it was arranged in a few minutes; when I came back at night and found that I forgot to bring the charger, the butler quickly sent the adapted model, and was patient and thoughtful throughout the whole process, like a family, making people feel at ease.
The overall design of the hotel is simple and stylish, and the layout of the public area is very atmospheric. The most popular Internet celebrity beds and Internet celebrity roofs are all available, and you don’t have to go out and spend money to queue up separately.
What I am most satisfied with is the hygiene situation, which I really can’t find any fault with. The bedding in the room is clean and tidy, without any odor, the corners of the bathroom are wiped clean, and even the washbasin is bright and reflective. This kind of control over details makes people feel particularly at ease.
In short, the service and environment of Dongye Hotel are impeccable. I will definitely choose this place next time I come. I strongly recommend it to everyone!

Breakfast quite nice delicious like mama cooked and afternoon tea make me forgotten how tired of traveling long a week! Coffee also excellent tasty. Thank you so much for Mr.Wang pick up, take care and suggested any options to try when spend at the village. That’s my the best destination of haven’t traveled to China for many years. GGrace W_WGetting from the scenic area parking lot into any hotels in Qianhu Miao village can be very challenging. You would need to walk over 600 meters with luggage, queue for a local shuttle, and then walk or climb stairs again to reach whatever hotel you book. As a solo traveler with my young daughter and two suitcases, this initially felt overwhelming when thinking about this idea .
I’m truely glad that I chose to stay with this hotel. Before we arrived, the staff proactively contacted me via WeChat and sent someone to meet us at the ticket checkpoint outside of the village to help with our luggage, and guide us onto the shuttle. This thoughtful assistance made a huge difference.
The hotel’s location was perfect, right next to the viewing platform. After getting off the electric shuttle, it took only one minute walk to reach the lobby. The views from the lobby, rooftop, and room are absolutely stunning. We didn’t need to visit crowded public viewpoints — enjoying the sparkling night view of the Miao village from our room was more than enough.
The Breakfast was generous and delicious, with surprisingly good coffee. A very good sour fish soup restaurant is located nearby. Every single staff member we encountered was warm, friendly, and genuinely caring. They patiently taught my daughter the Miao ethnic batik indigo dye — she loved it so much that she couldn’t stop. On the fifth floor, the hotel also offers a variety of ethnic costumes for photo shoots. Even after checkout, they still helped carry our luggage all the way to the parking lot, which was truly appreciated.
Although our stay was short, we could truly feel the care, attention to detail, and kindness from everyone at the hotel. Staying here felt more like being at home than at a hotel. We will definitely come back again and stay for longer. Strongly recommended!

KKarinedrewWe stayed in a family room with a view. While the scenery was not as breathtaking as the panoramic rooms, it was still pleasant, and the balcony was a lovely feature with a table for four. The room was spacious, the bed was very comfortable, and it made our stay truly relaxing.
A special highlight of our trip was our butler, 小杨. She was incredibly pleasant, attentive, and helpful, striking the perfect balance between professionalism and a warm, casual manner. Her service truly elevated our experience and made us feel well taken care of throughout our stay.
Afternoon tea was a nice touch, with a variety of nuts and a slice of cake each day. Since we stayed for four nights, having similar nuts daily—with only the cake changing—felt a little repetitive, but it was still appreciated. We also feel that a full-length mirror would be a great addition to the room.
One small point for families to note is that the toilet doors are translucent with frosted glass, which may not be ideal for those who prefer more privacy when traveling with family members.
Overall, all six of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay and left with wonderful memories. A special shout-out once again to our lovely butler, 小杨, for making our experience even more memorable.

YYujindaiwangThe views were absolutely incredible, even better than those from the observation deck! The service was also excellent. Since the guesthouse is located on the mountain, a butler provided pick-up and drop-off service for check-in and check-out.
The butler carried our luggage with impressive speed, while we, empty-handed, still felt a bit wobbly from the climb.
By the way, the Miao Village itself is quite commercialized and there wasn't much to do. Most of the joy from our trip to the Miao Village came from staying at this guesthouse.

Environment: Beautiful and quiet, excellent location. You can see the Miao village scenery from your room at night without even going out. The hotel is also conveniently located close to a viewing platform, just a short walk above it.
Service: Extremely attentive, including pick-up and drop-off services. They help transport your luggage to the hotel or the North Gate, and complimentary water is provided.
Butler's North Gate pick-up and drop-off service: Excellent.
Leisurely and exquisite afternoon tea: Both breakfast and afternoon tea are exquisite.

RRegis_RWe received a very warm welcome at Seven Letters. As soon as we arrived, XiaoYuan and Xiao Li came to pick us up at the observation deck and accompanied us to the hotel.
Once at the hotel, we were given all the information we needed to visit the village and some addresses of very good local restaurants.
We don't speak Chinese, but communicating via WeChat was very convenient.
The hotel is very modern. The room was very well equipped, very clean and very quiet. The hotel is located at the top of the village, offering a superb view of the 1,000 houses from the nearby platform.
Breakfast was perfect in a room with a beautiful view.
We did the batik activity, which we really enjoyed. It was very informative to see the complexity of making batik.
All the staff, especially XiaoYuan and Xiao Li, were very attentive and took great care of us.
We had an excellent stay at Seven Letters and highly recommend it.

HHailiwoniuI highly recommend staying at this guesthouse. The location is absolutely fantastic, both day and night! It's truly the best vantage point in the entire scenic area. Any designated observation decks in the area simply can't compare. The photos and videos I took from my guesthouse balcony turned out amazing. The facilities are excellent, and the environment is exceptionally clean. Most notably, the owner's service attitude is just wonderful. Having visited numerous scenic spots across the country, I consider this to be the number one guesthouse I've ever stayed at.

The room was clean and elegant, with an incredible panoramic view. At night, you're surrounded by the myriad lights of the Miao village. Their viewing platform has unique features like 'reaching for the roof,' an internet-famous bed, and an infinity pool – every photo you take turns out perfectly. Plus, their dining and travel photography services are excellent; the food was delicious, and the photographer was very professional. It's a perfect luxury experience, highly recommended!

GGuest UserI stayed in Xijiang Miao Village for two nights, and I'm so glad I chose this guesthouse. From my bed, I could overlook the stunning spectacle of a thousand households lit up at night. In the morning, opening the window revealed terraced fields and stilt houses shrouded in mist, like a traditional Chinese ink painting. The location is perfect – the surroundings are quiet, yet it's just a short walk to the bustling center of Miao Village. Plus, there's no need to climb stairs with luggage; the host contacted us in advance, guided us, and even helped carry our bags to the room, which was incredibly thoughtful. Watching the thousand-household Miao Village from the balcony at night with a gentle breeze was an absolutely perfect experience! Every little corner of the guesthouse has a great ambiance: the outdoor balcony, rooftop, fire pit, and cafe. The room was clean and cozy, and the housekeeper provided attentive service throughout our stay. In the morning, there was a comforting breakfast, and the hot noodle soup was absolutely delicious!
