PiaoyiabcAn absolutely amazing B&B, highly recommended! My family loved it so much, especially the kids who didn't want to leave and wished they could stay for days! First off, it's incredibly peaceful. The location is about 5 kilometers from the Miao village, requiring a drive up a mountain road. At first, it might seem a bit remote, but the stay itself is definitely worth every penny. Secondly, the environment is superb with expansive views. I stayed on the second floor right next to a rice paddy, and even this season, it was surprisingly cool with a constant refreshing breeze. The room itself was very spacious, and the toiletries were excellent with a fresh scent. Finally, there are plenty of spots for photos. Across from the property, the owner has a coffee shop, or rather, a cluster of cabins, each meticulously designed. Savoring a cup of coffee there is an absolute delight. Most importantly, the owner's service attitude is outstanding – they offer pick-up and drop-off, and the breakfast is great too!

Guest UserThis hotel is located in Longtang Miao Village, nestled independently on a mountain outside the village. The drive up can be a bit challenging. The hotel perfectly embodies a 'wild luxury' style, and the room views are impeccable. It's operated by the villagers, meaning the income directly benefits the local community. A staff member will meet you at the hotel parking lot for transfers, and an uncle will help with luggage to your room or the front desk. The hotel's dinner is also excellent; the local rice field fish and river snails were memorable, and the cured pork was absolutely fantastic. Overall, this hotel is a true paradise for relaxation and quiet contemplation. Highly recommended, and I'll definitely be back.

Our trip to Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village was absolutely perfect, largely thanks to this hotel!
1) The beautiful window views from the hotel were amazing for taking stunning photos.
2) The personalized butler service was outstanding. We never had to handle our luggage ourselves, and we received thoughtful tips and meticulous care throughout our stay, including afternoon tea, a 'good night' drink, and foot soaks. A huge shoutout to Butler Xiao Ye!
3) The complimentary coupons for Maiyi Cafe saved us some money, and the owner has fantastic taste – both the hotel and the cafe are beautifully decorated.

Guest UserI've almost never left reviews before, but I absolutely have to give this guesthouse a huge thumbs up! I first saw a video of the guesthouse posted by the owner on a nearby forum; it was very down-to-earth and objective! The view was great, and after checking on Ctrip, I found the price was very reasonable compared to other guesthouses in the same category, so I booked it without hesitation! The guesthouse didn't disappoint at all; the scenery was breathtaking! I took hundreds of pictures! 😏 The owners were also incredibly friendly; I didn't even have to carry my luggage myself, and they arranged for someone to bring it to me since check-out was early. In short, it was a flawless experience – beautiful, clean, and cozy. My only slight regret was not being able to pet the adorable cats; I'll definitely do that next time! 😄 Below are some photos I took of the room 👇, all original and unedited. Trust me, this is the place to stay in the Miao village!!!

The butler provided excellent service. We had just arrived at the village and were unfamiliar with the area, but he maintained prompt communication with us the entire time. He even helped us carry our luggage up many steps, which was incredibly touching. On top of that, he gave us a complimentary room upgrade. Our room had a great view, was clean and hygienic, and the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area. Highly recommended!

Anonymous UserA month before our summer trip, we booked another hotel nearby called Xingzhe Shangju. However, that hotel behaved very unprofessionally. The day before our departure, they asked how many people would be staying in our twin room. When we told them two adults and two children (both under 10), they refused to accommodate us, claiming we had exceeded the occupancy limit. It was clearly an attempt to cancel our low-priced booking and resell the room at a higher rate.
Fortunately, the booking platform intervened and arranged for us to switch to this hotel, which turned out to be a wonderful surprise during our trip. The children were absolutely delighted, and the mountain view from our room was stunning. It's also conveniently located very close to the viewpoint. The service was excellent and very thoughtful, and they even provided delicious complimentary afternoon tea.
Overall, it's highly recommended.

Guest UserThis hotel is excellent! Great location with stunning views. We loved relaxing in the bathtub while admiring the Miao Village scenery. We were lucky enough to experience both cloudy and sunny weather during our three-day, two-night stay, and even a heavy downpour one night, which was quite a spectacle. The two front desk staff members were amazing; they picked us up and dropped us off by electric car from the North Gate scenic area every time, which saved us a lot of energy. Their service was incredibly proactive and thoughtful. We really appreciated the hotel's relaxed atmosphere and attentiveness. The breakfast lady was also very warm, and the beef noodles were delicious!

Guest UserI'll definitely stay here again next time! The landlady is incredibly kind! We originally planned for three people to stay, and the room type we booked had one 1.8-meter bed and one 1.5-meter bed, but a friend came over unexpectedly, and the landlady immediately upgraded us to two 1.8-meter beds!! And! It was the same price!! No extra charge! And! They gave us four breakfast vouchers instead of the usual two (the breakfast was plentiful and delicious)! They even helped us hang our clothes to dry when we came back late, so touching! The room had a great view! It was clean, tidy, and had a great feel and style! The room mirrors and lighting were great, and even photos taken with the original camera turned out flawlessly! The rooftop view was also fantastic, attracting many artists to take photos! Having barbecue and drinks with my girlfriends on the hotel balcony in the evening was simply wonderful! We stayed for two nights and really didn't want to leave! I'll definitely come back next time! I'll choose this place again! I could never get tired of staying here! Finally, I'd like to mention the two male housekeepers who provided such a thoughtful and helpful service! In short! Thank you! grateful! !

This stay was absolutely fantastic! The room was spotless, and it had a huge balcony with an amazing view. I thought the view might be obstructed when I booked, but it was even better than I imagined in person. The hotel also has its own observation deck with a panoramic view, perfect for sightseeing.
The service was impeccable. The owner even helped us with our luggage, which made the experience even better! We were so busy with our travel photography that we almost missed check-out, but they even arranged for someone to deliver our luggage to our shooting location. The attention to detail was truly thoughtful.
The food was excellent too. We had 'laoguo' (a local hotpot dish) at the hotel two nights in a row, and it was incredibly delicious and memorable. Even during a heavy rainstorm, my sleep wasn't disturbed at all; the room was soundproof, quiet, and comfortable. When we left, the owner even gave us a big red envelope, which was such a thoughtful gesture. This hotel exceeded all my expectations in every way, providing a complete and wonderful experience. I truly recommend it! 👍👍

PinweiqinghuanThe hotel is located just outside the West Gate of the Miao Village. They offer a dedicated shuttle service, but during peak season, traffic can be heavy, making the 5-minute walk to the West Gate a more convenient option. Please note that from the West Gate, you'll need to walk through about 200 meters of commercial pedestrian street to reach the ticket office, so those who mind walking should consider this.
The hotel's decor is a bit dated, but judging by its early design, it seems to have aimed for a 4-5 star standard. In the humid Guiyang rainy season, the commercial-grade washer-dryer in the lobby is especially practical. The lobby also offers Miao village-style photo shoots, so you don't need to look for one once inside the scenic area.
Breakfast is served from 7:30 AM to 10:00 AM, and it's quite accommodating as you can still eat if you arrive a little late. The cleanliness and service were excellent, and we were pleasantly surprised with a room upgrade. On a lucky rainy season morning, you might even catch a breathtaking sea of clouds. For those who prefer to avoid the noisy atmosphere of guesthouses within the village, this hotel outside the scenic area is an excellent choice.
