This has been the best hotel we've been to in China so far! The host was so kind to upgrade us to an incredible room for free, the view was exceptional, the bath was warm, everything worked perfectly and we had a great time. The host is clearly a very good person that cares a lot, he had excellent communication, he suggested some restaurants and a very helpful local route. He even brought us coffee to the room in the morning! The location of the hotel is ideal, only 2 minutes walk up the hill from the main street. We struggled to decide how far up the mountain we should stay, this hotel was prefect: high enough for a perfect view but not too high to be far away from restaurants or difficult to get to. If we are forced to add a suggestion, we would say electric blankets on the beds for winter. We would very much recommend this hotel, you will be well looked after!

The location is excellent, right at the No. 4 covered bridge, offering fantastic views, especially at night. You can take a sightseeing bus from the No. 1 covered bridge to the viewing platform, saving you the trouble of carrying your luggage up the mountain.

Environment: Chinese style The picture is as follows. The artistic conception of tea-tasting the piano and burning the incense to play is figurative at this moment. Hygienic: The bathroom is separated from wet and dry 👍 and there is a bathtub, and the room is spotless. Very high location, it is recommended to travel lightly Service: The front desk brother warmly received the reception and also helped to send the luggage into the room. He also helped to make a guide to avoid stepping on the pit. Free breakfast is also good. 👍

Figures 1-3 show the public viewing area on the third floor (top floor) of the hotel. There's a glowing, color-changing moon you can sit on, which I think is a great spot for taking photos. You can capture a panoramic view of the Miao village! The No. 1 Wind and Rain Bridge and the drop-off point are just a short walk downstairs. Figures 4-5 show the view from the room's balcony. Anyway, it's a great choice for sightseeing and taking photos! The hotel staff will contact you a day in advance to inform you of some basic information. If you arrive early, you can ask them to help carry your luggage from the foot of the mountain to the front desk. They will also help carry your luggage down the mountain when you leave. The room facilities are very complete. The toilet and shower are separate, separated by an opaque glass partition. One person can use the toilet and another can shower at the same time. Now I want to talk about the shampoo. My hair was incredibly smooth after washing and blow-drying! In the hotels I've been to, the shampoo usually leaves my hair tangled and dry after washing and combing, but this shampoo didn't! After washing and blow-drying my hair, I combed it, and except for two small knots, the rest was easy to comb through! The mirror is large, with two lighting options, and there's also a dedicated makeup mirror. There are communal washing machines on the second floor, and clothes racks in the hallways on each floor. The beds were very comfortable, and the soundproofing was good. I almost overslept the next day. The drop-off/pick-up point at Bridge No. 1 is just a short walk down the hill. I think the only minor drawback is that climbing the stairs from the bottom of the hill to the hotel was quite tiring; I was completely out of breath. But that's typical in tourist areas. Finally, if anyone in your group snores, don't choose the twin loft; it's torture.

The view from the room is beautiful. I stay on 4th Floor and they do not have lift. The balcony view is good and they have their own transparent glass to step on. The hotel is hard to find. You will need a 24-hours free shuttle club car from ”Ling Hao Station” and tell the club driver to bring you to the hotel. The environment is quiet and the staffs are friendly and helpful.

Traveling all the way from Shandong, we covered over 1900 kilometers, staying at several hotels and guesthouses priced over 1000 RMB. Each hotel stay felt like a mystery box – always worried about bad experiences, especially when paying a premium doesn't guarantee satisfaction. Miao Village was our last stop, and unlike before, we didn't go for the most expensive option. After reading many reviews, we chose this one. Many people mentioned the breakfast in their reviews, so I didn't take pictures. While not overly lavish, it was absolutely delicious and hit the spot. The millet porridge was fragrant and smooth, and the scallion pancakes were incredibly tasty, all very clean and hygienic. We've stayed at several guesthouses in the scenic area, and this is the only one that included breakfast, offering the best value for money. The only minor drawback is that the toiletries could be upgraded, but everything else was perfect!

Much better than expected! The owner met us at the sightseeing bus stop, and was incredibly quick to respond to any requests we had. They even came to pick us up when we got lost trying to find our way back to the hotel at night. The room was also very comfortable, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering a direct view of the Miao village night scenery. The room was very clean. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied! Wishing the owner great success in their business!

Thanks to Trip.com for this wonderful hotel. All of us (4 pax) LOVED this hotel. Very strategically located amongst food centers, shops and local activities. Views from this hotel is fantastic...accentuated by the river and lights at night. Again, our stays exceeded the HIGH 5 Star ratings.... Ms Chen, Manager of the hotel is EXTREMELY helpful and resourceful in giving valuable suggestions thus making our stay, a delightful vacation. Well done, Ms Chen, an original Miao native and her efficient team, Ms Wu and others. Wonderful staff, including housekeeping... Definitely, will recommend to visit Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village and staying at Xijiang Story Resort Hotel is a Super Plus advantage. Stay here for a night with 2 other freinds. We totlaly live this hotel and the super location.The view here's super! The location is excellent! hotel is just a short walk from bridge number 4. U will need to walk up a hill to reach the hotel. So travel light is suggested. From the hotel, u can walk up a few more steps to reach the top view platform to have a better view of the whole town. Was given a room at the new wing, everything was new. Room was big and bed very comfortable. If I were to visit again, this hotel will be my only choice :)

The B&B is adjacent to Guzangtou's home. Walk up the gate of Yedong Village for about 15 minutes. At the top of the mountain, you can have a panoramic view of the Miao Village scenery and night. Along the way, you can experience the most original Miao Village style. The B&B itself is also the purest. The appearance of the Bamboo Corner Building has a sense of age. Although it is not luxurious inside, it also has air-conditioned bathrooms. However, the water is a bit small when there are many people. It is recommended to stagger the use of water during peak hours for a better experience. The disadvantage of the Bamboo Building is that it is not soundproof. You have to be mentally prepared for this. The landlady is very enthusiastic. If you have any travel questions, you can consult her. Although it is not convenient to eat nearby, the B&B also has a restaurant, and the price is more affordable than the scenic spot. After eating, you can go down the mountain to play. Not bad. I hope the boss can work harder on the hardware. This will be the most promising B&B in Miao Village.
