HHencyReally recommend, the first exhibition location is halfway up the mountain, close to where; the boss is very good, help with luggage, no too much interruption; the most important thing is that the homestay in the Miao Village is really expensive in the peak season. . My request is to have a balcony to see the Miao Village scenery, this one can see and relative the price is centered. The equipment and environment are very good!
Sszwyr1163The hotel is located directly above the viewing platform of the Miao Village. We booked a panoramic room, and from the window, we had an unobstructed view of the essence of Qianhu Miao Village. Sipping a cup of tea, with a chair by the window, you can take in the misty mornings and the star-studded nights of the Miao Village. The hotel's service is excellent; they provide the latest information in advance, respond quickly to inquiries, and the butler is warm and polite, making you feel right at home. The room offers Evian mineral water, orange juice, chocolates, fruits, and prickly pear jelly. Cocktails from the bar can be swapped for coffee, and there's a batik experience, which was very interesting. They even gave us a tea gift when we left. Truly, there's nothing to fault – definitely five-star!
GGuest UserTraveling all the way from Shandong, we covered over 1900 kilometers, staying at several hotels and guesthouses priced over 1000 RMB. Each hotel stay felt like a mystery box – always worried about bad experiences, especially when paying a premium doesn't guarantee satisfaction. Miao Village was our last stop, and unlike before, we didn't go for the most expensive option. After reading many reviews, we chose this one.
Many people mentioned the breakfast in their reviews, so I didn't take pictures. While not overly lavish, it was absolutely delicious and hit the spot. The millet porridge was fragrant and smooth, and the scallion pancakes were incredibly tasty, all very clean and hygienic. We've stayed at several guesthouses in the scenic area, and this is the only one that included breakfast, offering the best value for money.
The only minor drawback is that the toiletries could be upgraded, but everything else was perfect!
MMengzhutucaoguanThe two young men who greeted us at the hotel were nice and very professional. The area felt lively overall, but the surrounding area, including the hotel, had a somewhat desolate feel. The hotel itself was decent, but the experience wasn't worth the money. The suite I requested had a viewing platform, but the platform was old and the lights were broken. Paying an extra thousand yuan for the view was pointless; it would have been better to just go out into the lobby. Breakfast was included through Ctrip, but it was later changed to not being included through Ctrip, although the hotel provided it, which I appreciated. Eating options on the mountain are limited, so I won't comment on the complimentary breakfast. For the next day, I decisively chose a chain hotel for other accommodations.
GGuest UserFinally, I found my ideal vacation at this hidden gem hotel nestled halfway up a mountain in a Miao village! The view, design, and service all far exceeded my expectations. Lying on the terrace at night, the breathtaking night view of the village illuminated by lights below was simply indescribable! Even the unedited photos straight from my phone are perfect for sharing on social media – no filters needed! A butler contacted me beforehand to help with my luggage (important! It involves climbing several minutes of mountain steps).

GGuest UserLet's start with the positives: the view is absolutely unbeatable, and the owner even helped us with our luggage. Plus, you can borrow Miao ethnic costumes for photos, which is a nice touch. Now for the downsides: we stayed two nights in a row. The first night, the bathroom had a foul odor. The balcony door in that room also didn't have a screen, so we were afraid to air it out due to mosquitoes, which made for a very uncomfortable night. The second night, we switched to a different room. This time, the bathroom had a window and no bad smell. However, the showerhead had a bit of an issue.
GGuest UserThe hotel room was very clean, and you could see the night view of the Miao village from the window, which was absolutely stunning. The butler service was also very friendly and attentive, and they even helped with laundry. A really great stay!
LLee Teik BanThanks to Trip.com for this wonderful hotel. All of us (4 pax) LOVED this hotel. Very strategically located amongst food centers, shops and local activities. Views from this hotel is fantastic...accentuated by the river and lights at night.
Again, our stays exceeded the HIGH 5 Star ratings.... Ms Chen, Manager of the hotel is EXTREMELY helpful and resourceful in giving valuable suggestions thus making our stay, a delightful vacation. Well done, Ms Chen, an original Miao native and her efficient team, Ms Wu and others. Wonderful staff, including housekeeping... Definitely, will recommend to visit Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village and staying at Xijiang Story Resort Hotel is a Super Plus advantage. Note: attached are just few pictures taken from handphone of/from XSR Hotel.
AAussie EzzaAmazing stay in a central location.
If you get dropped off at North Bridge, catch the mini bus until you're dropped off where the bus turns around.
Take a walk to bridge 4, about 10 minutes away.
Cross the bridge and turn left.
About 5 meters along, turn right up a steep path. The hotel is about 30 meters up this road, if that.
It is somewhat steep, but so worth it!
We stayed at the boutique hotel which is opposite this, as the original one was under renovation. This was fine as we were upgraded and had a beautiful room with an unforgettable view!
The female staff member was so nice.
Don't hesitate to book your stay!
MMoonKore9SThe inn itself, as with others, is situated on the high peak of the mountain side. The entire village is situated on the mountain. This is Guizhou, after all So there is a lot of walking up things. That being said, the inn is nice and comfortable and family friendly. The owner is nice and helpful during your stay and the view was beautiful day and night from the window. My biggest advice is to pack very lightly (no large suitcase kind of light). You will be walking up very steep stairs (about 30 large stairs) getting to the inn and right back done when you're checked out.
