GGuest UserI don’t usually bother to give reviews but this homestay is a real gem. I would give 10 stars if it were possible. We are a family of 4 and we enjoyed our entire stay here. The staff were so warm, generous, friendly and helpful.
We felt so at home here. Room is amazing , so new and clean. As for the views, I will just let my photos do the talking. The kids loved the playground and tub. We loved the breakfast which is a local signature: Guilin Noodles.
The entire place just feels like home and I will come and stay again anytime

GGuest UserThis is a homely, family-run hostel with very personalised service. The location is slightly out of town as we preferred peace and quiet. It’s also nearer to the Ten Mile Gallery and the Impressions show. West street is just a ten minute taxi ride away.
The room is beautifully appointed with even a washer cum dryer inside. We were upgraded to a family room as two old folks in our group found it difficult to climb up the stairs to the 4th floor. The staff will help with luggage as there is no lift. The only minor imperfection is that the shower is only half separated from the bathroom and water tends to run out across the entire toilet due to the powerful shower.
The family room is one of the rare places offering 4-pax accommodation in China. They even provide a tent, kids toilet seat and kid stool in the bathroom, and all sharp corners are protected with soft covers. It’s perfect for families with young children and can comfortably sleep two adults and three kids.
Food wise, I highly recommend ordering the food in-house. The best meals we had in Yangshuo were cooked by the boss himself at a very reasonable price. Do note that meals need to be ordered at least two hours in advance as they purchase ingredients and cook to order, so do let them know earlier if you plan to have a meal upon arrival.
Service is impeccable and the lady boss is the loveliest host we’ve had in our entire trip across Guangxi, so kind and friendly and helpful with all sorts of travel tips around Yangshuo. Thank you very much and we hope to come again.

TTanya McGeerWe absolutely loved this hotel! The location was great, the staff were friendly and could speak English, and the food at the hotel was amazing. This was one of our best experiences in China. I would recommend this place to anyone. The villa/farmhouse we stayed in is perfect for big groups. The villa/farmhouse has 5 big bedrooms, each with its own bathroom with a shower and western toilet. The food at the hotel was brilliant! The courtyard in front was lovely in the mornings for breakfast, and the restaurant on the roof was amazing in the evening, looking over the mountains. We loved it, will definitely be back there soon! Thank you for an amazing stay and friendly hospitality.

GGuest UserThe hotel advertises as having an all-year-round open pool and it's not true. During our stay at the end of April with maximum temperatures above 30°C there was no pool to cool off, and the staff told us it was because it was still too early in the year. This was very disappointing as having a pool was the main reason for our choice of hotel, so I'd say this hotel didn't meet our expectations and they should state this clearly on Trip to avoid future confusion of guests. Other things to improve are the storage space in the rooms (there's barely any room to place suitcases etc) and the soundproofing (we were woken up several days by loud guests at 7am or earlier). On the positive side, the beds were comfortable (average hardness of mattress for westerners standards) and the shower was the best we've had in our whole trip through China: very modern, with good water pressure and no fluctuating temperature. The room thermostat worked really well and the hotel has some nice amenities for guests to use such as tea, massage chairs (a bit worn out but still working) and a vintage game console. The staff helped us with luggage, gave us information and even a small present at the end of our stay, which was a nice touch. The location of the hotel is in a quieter part of town, ideal for sleeping but still close enough to streets with lots of restaurants, cafes etc (try Heytea in west street if you can!).
Overall it's been good value for money, although the hotel could do some clean up/refurbishment work and the pool availability should be advertised accurately.

Firstly, we dealt with three (3)) staff during our stay and found their work culture to be very personalized, helpful, very attentive, sincere, genuine and caring. This is my first holiday trip to Yangshou city and we are totally new as a foreign tourist. The staff at Day Dream Hotel especially abc ...All of them are very helpful and have an excellent positive attitude like the Ritz Carlton Hotel service standard. Some of the key services accorded to us are: guiding us specifically how to use the local navigation map, a logical schedule and time table of top attractive places and timing to visit for each of the attractions and suggestions on excellent food places for breakfast, lunch and dinner, great performance show recommendations, flexibility in allowing us to use their EV bikes for our convenience. One evening it was raining. So we decided to order a taxi to send us to the restaurant. But the receptionist was very concerned and she herself stopped is from doing that because we will get wet in the rain when we arrive at the restaurant since the location don't have a proper shelter when we alight at the restaurant. So she is a very good caring , thinking, and prudent risk management person for our safety and well-being too. Every time we return to the hotel after our outings, they will warmly welcome us back like a family member or welcome us home. I felt very at home like a home far away from home. Day Dream Hotel is very clean and most of all I enjoyed their simple ESG philosophy. They maintained a beautiful garden that is very relaxing for sipping wine or a chilled beer. Come and discover and experience Day Dream Hotel. I hope you will also enjoy the stay as much as I do.

AArka BiswasPerhaps one of the best hotels you can find in all of Yangshuo and Guilin combined.
Location – the hotel is located 5 min from the Yangshuo city and yet in a more peaceful quiet rural setting. Its 5 min from the scenic area of the Yulong rivers as well. Lots of parking spaces if required.
Services – the services by the staff can be compared to a 5 star hotel standards. When arriving we were greeted well and were given options of rooms to choose from with free upgrades with beautiful view .See picture below. The front desk lady was superb with information in and around Yangshuo , bought tickets for us for several venues . Even borrowed us her own private scooter to drive around the scenic area. Breakfast was delicious and the cook was very generous.
Hotel- the hotel is quite well designed , although its small but the color pallet is quite soothing. Well furnished and the bed was really comfortable and clean. Slept really well throughout the night.
Overall , it’s a great deal considering the price and services and recommend it.

KKenny K.Beware before booking. You have to walk up about two-storey high staircase and about 50 meter route before arriving at the hotel counter. It may not be suitable for old people and who have knee/stair climbing problem. However, after the counter, there is lift to the rooms and the roof top cafe which you can have a good view of YangShou beautiful landscape. It is located infront of the West Street main entrance and local bus stops. Local buses are not so frequent here, but tourists can easily rent an electricity motor bike, price range from RMB20-30 per day to go around the tourist attractions.

The location is super good, in the countryside but close to a few restaurants, shops, electrical bike rent, and some scenic spots but also at 10/15 min driving from yangshuo city. The room was huge, as was the bathroom as well, the bed was super comfortable and the bathtub with the view as the balcony was priceless. The staff is really nice and they speak English so the communication was easy. Breakfast with traditional guilin noodles was also super good, highly recommended

MM516431****We definitely picked the right place in Yangshuo this time! The B&B room was stunning at first sight – so spacious, we could open our suitcases without them getting in the way, and there was even room for a small sofa in the lounge area, no cramped feeling at all. What really put us at ease was the cleanliness: the sheets and duvet covers were spotless white, not a speck of dust on the tables or in the corners, and even the bathroom tile grout sparkled. It made our stay incredibly reassuring. The owner also helped us buy tickets for the 'Impressions Sanjie Liu' show, which saved us a lot of hassle. Overall, the experience was fantastic, and I'll definitely prioritize staying here again when I come with friends next time!
