Guest UserAn absolutely wonderful family stay! When traveling with kids, cleanliness is my top priority, and the rooms at Mulan were spotless. The bedding was clean and comfortable, which really put my mind at ease. The staff were so friendly and always greeted us warmly when we came and went. The spacious room and unique view were a novelty for the kids, and our whole family had a fantastic time. We'll definitely be back next time we're in Taichung!

Guest UserService was excellent, the staff were great but the room felt a little dated. Despite that, overall cleanliness was excellent and good experience.

Everything was great except for the slight noise insulation issue. The environment was very comfortable and the bed was nice to sleep on, but the shower pressure was a bit weak. However, the separate wet and dry area design in the bathroom was excellent.

Guest UserThis hotel boasts a very convenient location near the Shuian Temple MRT station, offering direct access to the High-Speed Rail, making it incredibly easy to get around the city or travel out of town. There's also a Carrefour supermarket right next door, which is super handy for last-minute purchases or grabbing everyday essentials.
The room design is clean and comfortable. The bed is large and incredibly comfy to sleep in. For the price point, the room space is quite generous, not feeling cramped at all, and there's still plenty of room to move around even after laying out luggage.
Room amenities are comprehensive, including a mini-fridge, kettle, tea bags and coffee, USB charging ports, and multi-functional international sockets, which are very convenient for travelers. The open-style clothes rack design also makes it easy to access clothing.
The bathroom is a definite plus. The wet and dry separation is well done, with a spacious shower area and stable water pressure. The extra-wide sink is particularly great, providing ample space for skincare products and cosmetics, which is a big advantage for anyone who needs to do their makeup.
Overall, the stay was excellent and offered great value for money. The only minor drawback is that you can occasionally hear motorcycles speeding by at night (due to its location on a main street), which might be a slight disturbance for those who prefer a quieter environment.

Our family always makes it a habit to find a hotel near Fengjia Night Market when we visit, and we've been doing it for years. This was our first time staying at this particular hotel, and we booked a quad room. The room was incredibly spacious, and parking was convenient. Since we checked in on a Saturday, we could have reserved the shuttle bus to Fengjia for 30 NTD per person. However, we decided to challenge ourselves to walk there and back. It was a bit of a trek, about 10-15 minutes one way, which was a little far but not unbearable. The breakfast was a buffet, and I especially enjoyed the fresh fruit and vegetable juice machine – that was super fun! Overall, I'd definitely consider staying here again. The only downside was... by the time we wanted a late-night snack, we were already too full from the night market food, so we just went downstairs for a bubble tea and headed back to the room!

The front desk staff's quality and service attitude have greatly improved since my last stay a few years ago. I hope they can maintain this excellent standard.
Regarding the facilities: they are a bit old-fashioned. The wardrobe is particularly outdated and difficult to use, and it even poses a safety risk. Specifically, old sliding door wardrobes can be quite dangerous; I've personally had a heavy sliding door fall on me before, which was terrifying. I really hope they can upgrade the wardrobes.
Another issue is the complete lack of hooks in the bathroom. This is quite absurd; there's nowhere to hang clothes while showering, which is a very impractical design. I hope they can address this.
Despite these points, overall, Zhongke Hotel shows a genuine effort in its operation and remains a good choice for accommodation.

Guest UserYou will need to change a train from taichung HSR to WuQuan station to get to the hotel, you can walk from the station (but a bit of distance) but Uber is be best option as is just 5mins drive away. The location is pretty convenient and there is 小北百货 that sells a lot of stuffs and is so affordable! Breakfast was alright, not much variety but decent dishes like noodles, porridge , coffee etc. I will definitely be back when I am going to Taichung again!

HKTasterThis time I stayed at the Ful Won Hotel in Taichung. Its location is incredibly convenient: right next to the MRT City Hall Station, with bus stops on both sides of the main road, making transfers to other places easy. It's very friendly for those who don't want to drag their luggage too far.
The hotel exterior looks a bit old, giving the impression it's been around for a while. However, when we got to our floor, there was a rather strong paint smell in the corridor, suggesting the hotel had recently undergone renovations or repainting. The room itself was generally clean, and the basic amenities were sufficient, making for an acceptable stay.
But there are two design flaws that really need mentioning:
1. **Poorly designed bedside power outlets:** The outlets are located behind the pillows. If you try to charge your phone while lying down, the plug can easily shift or even poke your head, which is inconvenient and poses a slight safety concern.
2. **Too dark in the bathtub area:** After pulling the shower curtain for a shower, it's almost pitch black inside the curtain because the bathtub area lacks independent lighting. It's not very comfortable to use.
What I do want to praise is the service at the front desk in the lobby: I asked about good food nearby, and the staff gave many suggestions with a very good attitude. Plus, the lobby space is very spacious with comfortable sofas, making it convenient for waiting or resting.
In summary: If you prioritize convenient transportation and good service, this hotel is perfectly acceptable. However, if you care about in-room details (outlet placement, bathtub lighting) and are sensitive to smells, you should be prepared.
