CCecilia PorThis was my 3rd time staying here. Very near to railway station & foodcourt nearby. Room is clean but quite small & limited space if you have larger luggage. However, the breakfast is delicious & it's healthier choice during our stay this round. The service staff is very polite & courteous at all time. The reception staff even have the record which I stayed before. There is also a waiting area with seats & table for guests with relaxing music being played. A small area for younger kids too. A good choice for hotel accommodation if you plan to visit Taichung.

Mmi ni YeOur stay at the Mulan Motel - Taichung Branch this time truly felt like a special, ritualistic getaway. From the moment we drove into our private garage and entered the room, we felt a complete sense of privacy and exclusivity, totally undisturbed. It was perfect for those times when you just want to relax without interruption. The room itself was spacious, with a design that exuded understated luxury, and the lighting created a soft, comfortable ambiance. The bathroom, with its Jacuzzi, was definitely the highlight. After a good soak, I felt completely relaxed, and all my fatigue just melted away. The bed was wonderfully soft and comfortable, ensuring an excellent night's sleep. Its location is also incredibly convenient, close to the Taichung 7th Redevelopment Zone and popular attractions. During the day, we could take a leisurely stroll in the Fulfillment Amphitheater, and in the evening, we'd head to Fengjia Night Market for some delicious food. The itinerary flowed perfectly. Overall, Mulan isn't just a place to stay; it's an experience that encourages you to slow down and enjoy quality time, especially for couples. If you're planning a date, celebrating a birthday, or simply want to treat yourself to a relaxing break, this place comes highly recommended. ❤️❤️

GGuest UserThe rooms were huge and very art deco styled. Very ostentatious and gawdy. Loved it, and it was a great private experience. Also, each of the upgraded rooms has a personal car garage that attaches directly to the room, very nice touch.

GGuest UserOverall it's good, the reception is good, the room is good but it's on the second floor, the soundproofing is okay, the location is good and it's close to Qiuhonggu Tiger City, parking is convenient, the parking space and entrance are quite spacious, the breakfast options are a bit limited. Next time if I go to Taichung again, I will give priority to this hotel.

MmegggggThe parking lot is super convenient, and the parking spaces are really big. The room and the bathroom in the room are both huge. Having simple late-night snacks and breakfast included is incredibly convenient and delicious. Plus, with a 12 PM checkout, you can sleep in a bit, which is perfect for anyone who doesn't want to get up too early when they're on vacation.

GGuest UserThe Plaza Hotel is actually an older, well-established brand in Taichung. Its location is quite good, and the entire hotel has been recently renovated, so it's still very spacious and clean. It's conveniently located in the city center, making it easy to get to Fengjia Night Market, the Intercontinental Baseball Stadium, the new Hanshin Department Store, or Shinkong Mitsukoshi in the 7th Redevelopment Zone. There's parking available on-site. The hotel also offers breakfast, but you can choose a room-only option if you prefer not to have it. Definitely recommended!

郑郑丽香Before the ***** New Year, we took a trip to Taichung and stayed at a hotel near Feng Chia Night Market. The location is excellent, right at the entrance of the night market and opposite the university's main gate. Everything else was fine, but they charged an extra NT$180 for our 8-year-old for breakfast. We went down at 10:10 AM and there was almost nothing left, so our child ended up just having half a bowl of braised pork rice. That was really expensive! There's a whole row of breakfast places downstairs, so if you're staying here, definitely don't include breakfast. It's not worth it at all; you're better off trying local breakfast spots or the student-favorite queues. Another point is the lack of parking. They sent us to a contracted parking lot two blocks away, and we still had to pay an additional NT$160 per car. That's really inconvenient and not cost-effective. Other than these issues, everything else was okay. The lobby is on the 12th floor, check-out requires going up, and breakfast is also on the 12th floor, while the rooms are below the 12th floor. This arrangement was fine, I guess.

AAnonymous UserThe room was good and clean. And they offer a self-service laundry- of course you need to pay your laundry which is fare enough. But they don't provide any toothpaste ans toothbrush, which was indicated in their front desk and before booking. I was a bit confused though because I thought the reservation includes breaksfast as stated in the site but when i arrived, i was informed that it wasn't included. But the staffs are kind and helped me booked a taxi going back to the airport at a wee hour. The room i stayed had a window, there's ref and closet with only 2 hangers. The only problem i had was the aircon which was centralized or controlled so when it is cold at night, it is hard to increase the temperature. I couldn't really sleep well.
