5-Star Hotels in Taichung

The room cleanliness is good, but the front desk staff are somewhat cold and lack friendliness. However, if needed, they are willing to help.  The most inconvenient thing is that the hotel does not provide bottled water. You have to use the hotel's provided kettle to get filtered water outside the room, which is extremely inconvenient and feels unhygienic. This should not be the service provided by a five-star hotel. Environment: Great, quiet, and comfortable. Facilities: Excellent, the hot springs are fantastic with both indoor and outdoor options. Hygiene: Very clean and tidy. Service: The staff are all very friendly and enthusiastic, and there's a high staff-to-guest ratio. Dining: Breakfast is very rich and varied.

Great for family trip. The service of room was satisfying and quite fast. As soon as we enter our room in third floor, we noticed the size of slippers provided was too large. To our surprise, they took care of the problem almost immediately. I will give the service five star. As for the swimming pool, the quality of water is also good enough for children in 6-12 age group. BTW, thanks for the swimming pool service people. They gave us medication for mosquito biting in emergency. Surely recommended for family trip destination.

Hotel is great overall, but beds are really hard surface type. The hotel feels like was last renovated / built some 20 or so years ago, which makes everything looks dated. However, in terms of cleanliness, service and location it is an excellent hotel (if you are ok sleeping on a hard bed). Staff is very helpful. We didn’t try spa or dining so cannot comment here. Location is good: it is not too far from central district yet if you’re driving (we did) you don’t have to drive through the most congested areas. There are a few excellent coffee places nearby. Many places around to eat.

Best nature vibe hotel in Taichong with indoor and outdoor onsen. There's a free mini bus from Taichong HSR station to Hotel at 1F Exit #6 platform 8-10 as hotel schedule such a convenient travel. I'm enjoy with private hot spring bath tub in room. Strongly recommend for your vacation.

We booked a one-night stay in a SPA-themed room with two double beds. We checked into the hotel at 7:35 PM on July 24th. Upon entering the room, we discovered the toilet wasn't flushing and there was no cold water in the private hot spring bathroom. We immediately notified the front desk, and hotel staff promptly came to fix it. They explained it might have been due to a water supply issue. Since the hot spring bathroom only had scalding hot water and no cold, it was impossible to take a bath. After urgent repairs, both hot and cold water were restored around 11:15 PM. However, by midnight, the toilet started leaking non-stop (it was still leaking when we checked out). Upon waking up in the morning, we were very concerned about a potential electrical hazard. Paying such a high price for a hotel with so many faulty facilities was truly not worth it. After checking out, the hotel offered us a pudding as an apology. However, this experience was utterly unsatisfactory, leaving a very poor impression of the hotel's facilities and overall quality. We definitely won't be returning.

The environment is quiet and the hotel is relatively old, but it is clean and comfortable at 10 points! But the drive is a bit far, so it is recommended to go out early! There are also many restaurants and beautiful attractions near the hotel! It is a good place for vacation! Of course, the hot springs are also very good !
