"The location is good. It's a 20-minute walk to Yizhong Street. There are also several bus lines downstairs connecting to attractions.
The front desk staff were very friendly. Check-in is self-service, but the staff were very helpful in answering any questions. The price is reasonable.
The only downsides were the presence of many cockroaches, and the comforters and pillows didn't seem to be changed frequently. If these improvements can be made, I will definitely stay here again."

Outstanding
DDan WuangExtremely near the Taichung train station where I alighted. Walked down the escalator and walk straight towards the side of the taxi and look out for blue logo of Loosha hostel on one of the buildings on the right and you can reach there by less than 3mins.
Go to the reception at 5 floor on the inner lift, once you check in and got the access card, you can take the 2 lifts in front .
Awesome buffet breakfast with coffee starts at 8am and simple bread and jams if you’re in a rush at 7am.
Very clean kitchen and toilets as there are many staffs helping to clean and mainly the people staying there do their parts to make sure of a clean environment too.
Proximity to 7-11 and lots of Indonesian food and other food stall and Gancheng station where the bus will take you to Sun Moon Lake.
Awesome hostel with great eco friendly experience.

SsnowlotusVery clean and tidy. Perfectly insulated from the weather outside. A little far from the Shui-an temple metro station (10+ cross junctions and traffic lights), but there's a bus stop nearby. Take 159, it'll bring u to the Taichung HSR station.
Free breakfast (toast and spread and tea) every morning. Lounge, balcony, kitchen and kitchenware are free to use. 5th floor is female dorm, the rest are mixed. 8th floor is the reception and shared chill area.

TThe AnnihilatorThis was my second time staying here in Taichung. It's clean, and communication is easy via LINE. However, there was a slight misunderstanding. I thought check-out was at 12:00 PM, but it's actually 11:00 AM, which almost resulted in me being charged extra. Luckily, I communicated through LINE, so I avoided the penalty.

GGuest UserI felt this accommodation was like a slightly nicer student studio apartment. It was comfortable, and the bed, desk, and wardrobe were all very new. Because they were so new, dust might not have been very visible and could have been easily missed during cleaning. I asked the front desk for a mop and had to mop five times before it was clean. I think the mop itself was dirty, and the 'Hao Shen Tuo' mop doesn't pick up dust well, leading to housekeeping not being thorough enough.
The wardrobe was also new, but when I opened it, there was a lot of dust inside, which I also wiped down.
The air conditioning had a moldy smell (even though the AC unit was also new 😭)…..
Overall, I didn't mind cleaning again myself, but it would be better if housekeeping could be more diligent. After all, the accommodation fee isn't expensive, and the room isn't large. I like new rooms, so I didn't mind treating the room like my own home and cleaning it these past two days. I just hope the hotel can be more attentive to their cleaning work.
The front desk staff were quite good. They helped me find bus information and store information. They weren't just saying they would help; they actually took out their phones to look things up for me 👍.

WWan0613The price is OK, but there is no service. It is to check in and check out with the machine. The parking is only downstairs. If it is full, you have to go to the parking lot next to it. The room is simple, the bathroom water will be hot and cold, and the water column is sprayed very well. The location is ordinary.

DDzeremiSelf check-in and check-out were smooth, and no human interaction was needed. The location is decent—fairly close to the train station. Overall, it’s good for the price. However, the metal bed frame can be a bit noisy when climbing up and down. If you need to store your luggage, there’s a paid storage machine available.

MMC Chan ChanOverall, it was good. The room felt spacious and had both disposable and regular hotel towels. There was a water dispenser in the hallway where you could refill your water bottle. The room rate included breakfast, making it very cost-effective. The only downside was that the hairdryer was a bit weak, which might make it difficult for women with long hair to dry their hair.

GGuest UserOverall, I had a good experience staying at this hotel.
The location is convenient, the room was clean, and the service was friendly. For the price, it’s definitely reasonable, and I’d be happy to come back again if I visit Taichung in the future.
The only downside was the water temperature in the bathroom — it was quite hard to adjust, and tended to be a little too hot. It would be great if that could be improved for a more comfortable stay.

OOscarIt's a bit shabby and there's no service staff on site, and Wi-Fi is not written in the guest rooms. I saw that the whole room was already filled. The bathroom was the kind that would get the whole thing wet when you took a shower, but the room was still good value for money.
