Hotel near Tiger City/Taichung 7Th Phase Area Commercial Circle,Taichung
The Mulan Motel (Taizhong Mulan Jingpin Luguan) is located in Shizheng Road, in the Si Tun District. Wi-Fi and a hot spring pool are available at this hotel.
"The hotel is quite large and very clean, with a big jacuzzi for soaking. Each room has its own parking space. It's located near Fengjia, and there's a 7-Eleven supermarket right across the street, plus many different restaurants nearby, which is super convenient. Every morning, breakfast is delivered to your door, with both Chinese and Western options. The hotel doesn't provide disposable toiletries; you can buy them or bring your own if needed. The only minor downside is that the toilet and shower areas aren't separated. Since we're a family of four with young children, it wasn't a big deal for us. But overall, it was still very good. If I travel to this area again, I would definitely stay here."

The Ohotel is one of the newest hotels in Taichung, having been renovated in 2024. The hotel is conveniently located just 3km from Taichung Station and 20km from Taichung International Airport. With multiple attractions nearby including Audit Village, Wind Chaser Fantasy Island: The Fantasy Party of the Lion and Taichung Civic Square, guests will find plenty to keep themselves occupied. This hotel makes a great place to kick back and relax after a long day of sightseeing. For those driving themselves, parking is provided on site. If you are looking for a convenient place to stay, our guests have told us that this location is excellent. This hotel is a popular accommodation for guests traveling with families.
"The location is really good, and the free parking is a big plus. It's best to confirm the check-out time with the front desk when you check in. However, parking can be a real challenge – it definitely tests your skills! As for the hotel itself, it's a bit old, but you get what you pay for, so don't expect too much. They basically provide zero amenities, so bring your own slippers, otherwise, they charge 20 for a pair. What I really didn't like was finding hair on the room table, despite the overall cleanliness being okay. The bathtub was勉强 clean enough, and at least there was a bathtub, which made me happy! 🥹🥹🥹"

The Chance Hotel is an ideal spot for travelers wanting to discover the city. Visitors to Taichung will find that the Chance Hotel is a fantastic accommodation choice. Boasting a convenient location, the hotel is just 300m from Taichung Station and 22km from Taichung International Airport. There is no shortage of things to see in the area, with the Gancheng Park, Taichung Leh Cherng Temple and Taichung City Office Building all nearby. When guests have some time on their hands they can make use of the onsite facilities. Guests tell us the location of this hotel is fantastic. This hotel is particularly popular with those traveling alone.
"unfortunately i have forgotten to take a photo of the hotel. It takes about 40 minutes from the HSR, so this itself might not be as convenient. However, what I love is that, this is a conveniently located near Miyahara, which is a pick up place for group tours.
Their walls are quite thin and you can often hear people coming back or when they’re too loud.
Overall, for the price, it’s really good!"

The RedDot Hotel is located in the Central District of Taichung, close to the Zhonghua Road Night Market and the Nisshin Grand Theatre (formerly the Chinese Theater). It not only has the perfect night market view of the prosperous old city, but also a new and old local cultural park. Red Dot Brigade combines stunning sensational elements with sensory aesthetics to reflect the sensibility and change of the city, experiencing and feeling the past with a modern mindset.
"When you visit Taiwan, don't just stick to Taipei! If you get a chance to go to Taichung, you absolutely must check out the Red Dot Hotel, recommended by the Michelin Guide! The counter in the ticket hall features red dots and a stylish design. Plus, there's a silver slide that you can actually use to go from the second floor down – kids will love it! The overall vibe is very artistic, playful, and high-quality."

A brand new budget hotel directly in front of the Taichung Railway Station transfer station. Nearby attractions include the famous Zhonghua Tourist Night Market, Zhongxiao Tourist Night Market, Yizhong Business District, Showtime Mall, New Times Shopping Center... etc.
"This place is a great choice for couples and solo travellers. It’s very budget friendly and new, I was thankful that the cleanliness was good as reviewed by the other recent travellers. As a solo female traveller, I found this place safe, convenient and near the Taichung Station, so even if you check in late, it’s easy to find. Free Coffee from a decent self-operated machine in the morning. Only complaint would be less sound-proofing and some noise from other rooms, but they anticipated this and provide ear plugs. All that can be overlooked cos of the other factors like cleanliness."

Great hotel, convenient transportation, clean rooms, good service attitude
The massage bathtub and massage bed are very powerful. The steam will heat up immediately after a while. The check-in time is also sufficient. Check-in at 1900 and check-out at 1200 is just right. The point is that it is pet-friendly, which is great👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾

Jeanette C.It was my first time visiting to Taiwan with family and friends. We had a very pleasant stay for 5 nights. The location is convenient for getting around, which made our trip much more enjoyable. The room amenities were well-equipped and met all my needs, making the stay comfortable and satisfying.
One small suggestion would be to provide a few more hangers in the room, as it would be helpful for longer stays.
Special thanks to the staff, Mr. Li (Lee). Whenever he was in charge of front desk, he was extremely helpful throughout our stay and always ready to assist with any requests. We truly appreciate his efforts in making our experience even more pleasant.
Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely consider staying here again.
