Taichung Hotels with Gym

I wrote in my initial booking that this was an Anniversary trip, I was quite surprised that the hotel did not do nor acknowledge such things and that quite bothered me. First impressions do lasts and I also had an incident in their restaurant that serves buffet, where there was a insect (almost cockroach like) in the soup which was honestly very shocking for a 5 star restaurant but the recovery of how they handled was not great and no follow up was done. Overall, I wasn’t as happy staying here as I thought I would. But I won’t definitely be coming back.

We have been trying to find a suitable hotel every time we are here in Taichung, this is finally the perfect one! Hotel room was huge! There’s a family mart & many different joints of bubble tea shop across the hotel. Amenities were very limited. Cleanliness was ok. Hotel breakfast has many selections to cater different choices. There’s a shopping mall directly behind the hotel, and there’s Bar at the 7th floor who dj fantastic R&B sets. Coming back next year!

Room is spacious. Dinner choices are limited. Wonder why the Chinese restaurant have a day off without service and price Amis relatively expensive.

This is our second stay at a Tango hotel in Taiwan. Overall, it was still a good experience. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful, the room environment was nice, and the breakfast selection was decent. However, there's room for improvement in terms of cleanliness details. There were some hairs left in the bathtub area, and noticeable water stains on the mirror. Other than that, everything else was impeccable. I would definitely choose to stay here again next time I visit Taichung.

Everything was great except for the slight noise insulation issue. The environment was very comfortable and the bed was nice to sleep on, but the shower pressure was a bit weak. However, the separate wet and dry area design in the bathroom was excellent.

Booked a quad room, and the size was pretty good. The beds were huge, and the bathroom was spacious. Breakfast was just okay, not much variety. You can ask the front desk for bottled water. The location is also quite good. Overall, it's a nice place, and the facilities are well-maintained.

The hotel boasts an excellent location, directly opposite SOGO department store. My only minor complaint is that hotels in Taichung generally tend to be a bit older. A huge thank you to the front desk for the complimentary room upgrade!

The location is excellent, very close to Taichung Station, Yizhong Street Night Market, and Miyahara Eye Clinic. The bus stop for Sun Moon Lake is just a few tens of meters away, Taichung Park is right behind the hotel, and there's a Starbucks downstairs.

Our family always makes it a habit to find a hotel near Fengjia Night Market when we visit, and we've been doing it for years. This was our first time staying at this particular hotel, and we booked a quad room. The room was incredibly spacious, and parking was convenient. Since we checked in on a Saturday, we could have reserved the shuttle bus to Fengjia for 30 NTD per person. However, we decided to challenge ourselves to walk there and back. It was a bit of a trek, about 10-15 minutes one way, which was a little far but not unbearable. The breakfast was a buffet, and I especially enjoyed the fresh fruit and vegetable juice machine – that was super fun! Overall, I'd definitely consider staying here again. The only downside was... by the time we wanted a late-night snack, we were already too full from the night market food, so we just went downstairs for a bubble tea and headed back to the room!

Really enjoyed my stay here. The hotel was clean, quiet, and very comfortable, and the staff made a great impression with their kindness and professionalism. Everything was well organized, from the smooth check-in process to the overall service throughout the stay. The room was cozy, the amenities were excellent, and the atmosphere made it easy to relax after a long day. Would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to others visiting the area.
