Taichung Hotels with Gym

I wrote in my initial booking that this was an Anniversary trip, I was quite surprised that the hotel did not do nor acknowledge such things and that quite bothered me. First impressions do lasts and I also had an incident in their restaurant that serves buffet, where there was a insect (almost cockroach like) in the soup which was honestly very shocking for a 5 star restaurant but the recovery of how they handled was not great and no follow up was done. Overall, I wasn’t as happy staying here as I thought I would. But I won’t definitely be coming back.

This hotel is close to Feng Chia Night Market and offers convenient parking. The rooms are new, clean, and modernly designed, with a great wet/dry separation in the bathroom. The breakfast selection is extensive, and they even offer a late-night snack service, which is a nice touch.

I think I got a free upgrade to executive level. From a queen to king sized bed!!! Cleanliness good, service good, public transport nearby good, atmosphere good. I love everything about my stay, no complains at all! I am definitely going back to this hotel again next time!!!!

We happened to have one night available and booked their Deluxe Room with Kitchen. I loved this twin bed room which had a small washer +dryer combo, kitchenette, sitting room with small couch and rotating TV. The bathroom was my favorite - spacious, nice modern design elements, bright and substantial shelving. Overall the place was bright comfortable apartment-style stay, home away from home with a modern and higher end feel. We used the small gym which had everything we needed - incline treadmills, mats, free weights, nice city views. We didn't get to use their dry and wet saunas but it would have been really nice as they are on the rooftop. The facilities are only available during certain staffed hours but was enough for us. Breakfast was good. I didn't mind the limited variety as the quality was enough with fresh salad options, toasty bread and ********* and american options. The only minor downsides were the hot food got a bit cold because they kept the lids up and they didn't have mild alternatives like oatmilk for coffee/cappuccino. Also public transportation is less accessible in that area. But otherwise I would stay there again in a second! Front desk staff were very helpful :)

Overall was okay as a stay for hotel, maybe for gym equipment, lacking weights and more variety of equipment to use. Hotel beds and everything else is more or less comfortable to sleep in. Breakfast is average overall, not fantastic but still good to eat if you don’t plan to travel out in the morning for food. Convenient to travel from hotel to other destinations.

First time in Taiwan, and there weren't many hotel options in Taichung, most of them being quite old. This hotel's service was decent. The room was a bit dated, but the location was good, right next to a shopping mall and across from a Japanese Sogo department store. There's also a bar on the hotel's registration floor, which was nice.

The room was spacious, with a separate wet and dry bathroom and a refrigerator. Each floor had its own water dispenser, and the sixth floor offered a free kids' play area, a gym, and a sparkling water machine. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The hotel also provided a free contracted parking lot, and there's a shopping street outside the hotel for convenient resupply.

I've stayed at this hotel several times now, and it's generally decent. However, this time, the first room I got had a bit of a musty smell (courtyard rooms aren't very airy, though they are quieter). After I brought it up, the front desk switched my room. I've always loved their braised pork rice for breakfast, but it wasn't available this time. Luckily, I discovered their incredibly delicious sweet potatoes and century egg and lean pork congee.

Our family always makes it a habit to find a hotel near Fengjia Night Market when we visit, and we've been doing it for years. This was our first time staying at this particular hotel, and we booked a quad room. The room was incredibly spacious, and parking was convenient. Since we checked in on a Saturday, we could have reserved the shuttle bus to Fengjia for 30 NTD per person. However, we decided to challenge ourselves to walk there and back. It was a bit of a trek, about 10-15 minutes one way, which was a little far but not unbearable. The breakfast was a buffet, and I especially enjoyed the fresh fruit and vegetable juice machine – that was super fun! Overall, I'd definitely consider staying here again. The only downside was... by the time we wanted a late-night snack, we were already too full from the night market food, so we just went downstairs for a bubble tea and headed back to the room!

Really enjoyed my stay here. The hotel was clean, quiet, and very comfortable, and the staff made a great impression with their kindness and professionalism. Everything was well organized, from the smooth check-in process to the overall service throughout the stay. The room was cozy, the amenities were excellent, and the atmosphere made it easy to relax after a long day. Would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to others visiting the area.
