"I stayed here at the end of 2025. The hotel's front faces the Liuchuan Riverside Walk, which was beautifully lit up. I really enjoyed watching the fountain show in the evening. This hotel is incredibly clean. What truly earned a perfect score was the breakfast – it was extensive and offered fantastic value for money. The Wi-Fi internet was super fast and strong, the TV screen was large and sharp, and the water pressure in the bathroom was excellent. They even offer free washing machines. For any Thai travelers planning a trip to Taichung, I highly recommend staying here. I was thoroughly impressed!"

"The stay was good, rooms were spacious, cozy and clean. The first impression from the front desk agent was a little disappointing. They don't seem welcoming. The hotel looks grand but the front desk agent were cold and distant. Breakfast spread was good as there were many choices. Kids playground was decent, clean and spacious. Laundry system was a little wonky, you had to pay way more for the stipulated operation time for the cleaning and drying. Overall it was a satisfactory stay."

"1. The bedsheets and comforter were unclean, causing my skin to itch, and I couldn't sleep all night because of it. 2. Although the bathroom was cleaned, there might be an unpleasant odor from the old building's pipes constantly wafting into the room. 3. The location is convenient, right behind Taichung's Old Train Station. 4. I suggest the owner renovates the place if they have the budget, otherwise, the ratings will only drop further. 5. Paying over NT$1900 for such conditions on Feb 27-28 is a bit excessive. 6. If any friends still plan to stay here, I recommend bringing your own sleeping bag or bed liner and pillowcases."

"It belongs to the standard business hotel… the room is spacious and clean and well maintained…however, i have issues with the bathroom flush and the shower head / tap switch… which took me sometime to figure them out… There is a lobby bar on the first floor where we can wait and drink machine made coffee…..the gym and laundry room is located at B1… there should have better indications of how to open the gym door and lobby bar door… sometimes there is no one to aak about how to go in… maybe the washing machine needs to change the rubber rims cos of accumulated dark spots… but it’s free so i am not really complaining… The hotel has excellent front desk and housekeeping staff…. Special thanks to Cindy Lai who went the extra miles to find out the rates for taxi chartering… sorry that we did not take it up in the end though we thought it’s a good idea… grateful that we took the advice to go to LuKang old street instead as the places we plan to go is too far. We underestimated Taichung’s size… The hotel breakfast is fantastic, they have a different varieties for the two days we went.. the food is delicious and well selected… i wish i can eat more… the restaurant staff are also very helpful… Overall, me and my friend have great experience at The Tango Taichung…."

"Judging from the exterior, I initially thought it would be dilapidated, but it was actually quite nice to stay in—clean and comfortable, except the bed was a bit soft and the price was a bit expensive… but that's understandable during the Chinese New Year…"

"I had the pleasure of staying here for two nights. First and foremost, the staff's service was truly outstanding. Their consistently polite and warm approach made me feel at ease throughout my stay and their hospitality definitely made me want to return. The breakfast, which I enjoyed both mornings, was also incredibly delicious and a wonderful way to start the day. The extensive menu offered a very satisfying dining experience. Regarding the location, while it's in the city center, access to major public transport wasn't particularly convenient. However, the exceptional staff service and delicious food more than made up for this, and I consider them the hotel's biggest draws. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel, especially for those who prioritize excellent service."

"The location is great, and the room facilities are very new. I would stay here again next time. It's right across from Farglory Shopping Center, and there are many restaurants nearby. There are McDonald's and convenience stores nearby, so you can choose from a variety of options."

"It is a very nice hotel with great location. The hotel is located at around 10mins on taxi from the train station (25min walk). There is a tiny night market and a cinema nearby. The classic room has a very strange shape and is very small, so I won’t recommend for anyone. The service was great where the staff are polite and helpful. The hotel also offers bike lending service for free for up to 3hrs. This is very helpful for me exploring the city in a short period of time. One big issue I found is the sound proof is very poor. I was able to hear noise very clearly from people walking /talking outside my room."
