GGuest UserMy stay at this hotel is a wonderful experience. The staff were incredibly friendly, making sure that all instructions were clear and helpful throughout my visit.
My room was impressively clean and spacious, and there is daily welcome food platter. The bed was cozy, allowing me to sleep very well each night.
While the hotel is located at the western district, a bit far from the central district, there are plenty of supermarkets and a variety of restaurants in the vicinity, which made it convenient for me.
The breakfast options were abundant, offering something for everyone. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for its great service, comfort, and amenities!

Great location (opposite to the hotel, there is FamilyMart and lots of good restaurants, near to the famous Feng Jia Night Market and other understated but beautiful parks and National Taichung Theatre), friendly service, and clean/spacious room. Definitely a premium hotel which is priced very reasonably. Will come back again!

GGuest UserFirst time in Taiwan, and there weren't many hotel options in Taichung, most of them being quite old. This hotel's service was decent. The room was a bit dated, but the location was good, right next to a shopping mall and across from a Japanese Sogo department store. There's also a bar on the hotel's registration floor, which was nice.

From the moment I arrived, the staff demonstrated exceptional professionalism and a genuinely warm service attitude. The front desk reception was incredibly friendly, and check-in was swift and efficient. They also thoughtfully provided details about the hotel's facilities and the surrounding area.
The room was spotless and tidy, decorated with a cozy and elegant touch, showing great attention to detail. The bedding was comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring I had a fantastic rest during my stay. The bathroom was well-equipped, with a stable hot water supply and high-quality toiletries, all adding to a feeling of thoughtful care and premium quality.
The hotel breakfast offered a wide variety of options, balancing both Western and Chinese cuisine, and everything tasted delicious. Staff were quick to replenish items, and the restaurant environment was bright and comfortable – a perfect start to the day. The hotel also features a well-equipped gym and a clean swimming pool, making them great spots for relaxation.
The location is also superb, with convenient transportation nearby. Dining, shopping, and attractions are all within walking distance or a short drive. Overall, whether for business or leisure, this hotel is an excellent choice.

GGuest UserOverall it's good, the reception is good, the room is good but it's on the second floor, the soundproofing is okay, the location is good and it's close to Qiuhonggu Tiger City, parking is convenient, the parking space and entrance are quite spacious, the breakfast options are a bit limited. Next time if I go to Taichung again, I will give priority to this hotel.

GGuest UserI personally lean towards traditional hotels, and at least I didn't experience any of the negative reviews I saw online.
Hotel Facilities: It's an older hotel, but my room had been renovated. The interior is definitely a complete contrast to its exterior.
Room: For the price, it's incredibly good value. The room was spacious enough whether I was staying alone, as a couple, or with my partner. The air conditioning, hot water, TV, and hairdryer all worked perfectly.
Breakfast: They ask you for your preferred dining time when you check in, but maybe because I was staying alone, it didn't really affect me, so I didn't need to specify. The variety of food was extensive, and they changed items daily. I don't understand why some reviews claimed that eating outside for 70-80 TWD would be better; an extra breakfast here only costs 50 TWD. Anyway, they had vegetables, congee, salad, fruit, eggs, bread, etc. For meat options, there was grilled chicken chop, kimchi pork belly, breakfast sausages, and ********* braised pork. The coffee was either from a well-known international brand or the hotel's specially selected freshly ground beans, which I thought was a nice touch. However, I found it a bit odd that you had to return your own trays – it is a hotel, after all.
Staff: The staff were very friendly and polite. Check-in was handled in both Chinese and English, and they thoroughly explained my room's features, inquired about my needs, and discussed cleaning arrangements. The only minor issue was that I requested a change of bedding on the third day at noon, after two nights, but it didn't happen. I assume the regular staff member for that floor was off, and the replacement didn't change them, as they just straightened my duvet and put the tip I left back on my pillow. Despite that, it didn't impact my stay at all, haha.

JjocolocoI love the whole vibe of the hotel where it give off this rustic industrial look but the interior of the room is really nice. Front desk was super accommodating when we wanted to upgrade our room but the initial upgraded room was not to our liking and they kindly suggested another room for us to have a look first before we decide on it. we were able to check in an hour earlier as well and was able to keep our luggage at the front desk after check out and return back later to collect. overall an amazing experience with SOF hotel and would definitely come back to stay when im in taichung again

GGuest UserWe checked in at this hotel on the evening of December 21, 2025. Immediately after we got into the assigned room, we smelled a very strong odor of chemical spray. My wife couldn’t bear this and started to have allergic reaction. Immediately we notified the front desk. They offered to switch to another room. Nevertheless , when we got to the other room, it had the same chemical odor. Therefore we decided to leave this hotel and found another hotel to stay for that night. We had requested a refund and the front desk at the Comin Place said that they would contact Trip.com to refund us the fee. However, till now we haven’t received the refund from Trip.com.
