Very Good
GGuest UserHotel very modern. Lovely rooms.
Rooms spacious and beds very comfortable. Medium softness.
Staff very friendly and helpful.
Breakfast had a great range.
Only 15 min in taxi from HSR.
Pool area nice, water not heated so about 23degrees.
As we were only there for one night got taxis everywhere.
The local area ok for one night or if business travel.
If staying for Goemei wetlands, maybe you want to stay on the other side of the city.

Good
GGuest UserOverall, not bad. But just a word of caution that the eletric bidet toilet was very dirty. Make sure you clean it before use. It has all the human stool stuck on the nozzle. Hope the hotel can have cleaned it. The shower floor needs to be cleaned too, lots of water stains.
VVladimir PervouchineHotel is great overall, but beds are really hard surface type. The hotel feels like was last renovated / built some 20 or so years ago, which makes everything looks dated. However, in terms of cleanliness, service and location it is an excellent hotel (if you are ok sleeping on a hard bed).
Staff is very helpful.
We didn’t try spa or dining so cannot comment here.
Location is good: it is not too far from central district yet if you’re driving (we did) you don’t have to drive through the most congested areas. There are a few excellent coffee places nearby. Many places around to eat.

GGuest UserOverall it's good, the reception is good, the room is good but it's on the second floor, the soundproofing is okay, the location is good and it's close to Qiuhonggu Tiger City, parking is convenient, the parking space and entrance are quite spacious, the breakfast options are a bit limited. Next time if I go to Taichung again, I will give priority to this hotel.
郑郑丽香Before the ***** New Year, we took a trip to Taichung and stayed at a hotel near Feng Chia Night Market. The location is excellent, right at the entrance of the night market and opposite the university's main gate. Everything else was fine, but they charged an extra NT$180 for our 8-year-old for breakfast. We went down at 10:10 AM and there was almost nothing left, so our child ended up just having half a bowl of braised pork rice. That was really expensive! There's a whole row of breakfast places downstairs, so if you're staying here, definitely don't include breakfast. It's not worth it at all; you're better off trying local breakfast spots or the student-favorite queues. Another point is the lack of parking. They sent us to a contracted parking lot two blocks away, and we still had to pay an additional NT$160 per car. That's really inconvenient and not cost-effective. Other than these issues, everything else was okay. The lobby is on the 12th floor, check-out requires going up, and breakfast is also on the 12th floor, while the rooms are below the 12th floor. This arrangement was fine, I guess.

EELIYRA ELLAURELL ELSONWhile the stay was comfortable, the breakfast selection was limited and the taste was average compared to other Fairfield by Marriott properties in Taiwan. It would be great to see more variety and improvement in quality.

HHKTasterThis time I stayed at the Ful Won Hotel in Taichung. Its location is incredibly convenient: right next to the MRT City Hall Station, with bus stops on both sides of the main road, making transfers to other places easy. It's very friendly for those who don't want to drag their luggage too far.
The hotel exterior looks a bit old, giving the impression it's been around for a while. However, when we got to our floor, there was a rather strong paint smell in the corridor, suggesting the hotel had recently undergone renovations or repainting. The room itself was generally clean, and the basic amenities were sufficient, making for an acceptable stay.
But there are two design flaws that really need mentioning:
1. **Poorly designed bedside power outlets:** The outlets are located behind the pillows. If you try to charge your phone while lying down, the plug can easily shift or even poke your head, which is inconvenient and poses a slight safety concern.
2. **Too dark in the bathtub area:** After pulling the shower curtain for a shower, it's almost pitch black inside the curtain because the bathtub area lacks independent lighting. It's not very comfortable to use.
What I do want to praise is the service at the front desk in the lobby: I asked about good food nearby, and the staff gave many suggestions with a very good attitude. Plus, the lobby space is very spacious with comfortable sofas, making it convenient for waiting or resting.
In summary: If you prioritize convenient transportation and good service, this hotel is perfectly acceptable. However, if you care about in-room details (outlet placement, bathtub lighting) and are sensitive to smells, you should be prepared.

GGuest UserWe recently stayed at this hotel for three nights and had a fantastic experience overall. The front desk staff were incredibly welcoming and processed our check-in with impressive efficiency. Our room was remarkably spacious and spotless, featuring a modern aesthetic and a bed that offered excellent sleep quality.
One of the major highlights was the breakfast buffet, which offered a wide variety of fresh local and international options. The location is perfect for exploring the city center on foot, with several great cafes nearby. My only minor complaint was that the Wi-Fi was a bit spotty in the evenings, but it didn’t detract from our stay. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area!

GGuest UserWe checked in at this hotel on the evening of December 21, 2025. Immediately after we got into the assigned room, we smelled a very strong odor of chemical spray. My wife couldn’t bear this and started to have allergic reaction. Immediately we notified the front desk. They offered to switch to another room. Nevertheless , when we got to the other room, it had the same chemical odor. Therefore we decided to leave this hotel and found another hotel to stay for that night. We had requested a refund and the front desk at the Comin Place said that they would contact Trip.com to refund us the fee. However, till now we haven’t received the refund from Trip.com.
