Amazing
安安娜堡的ojibsanThe location is very good, turn a corner into the square center. Turning in the other direction to the Tram station is very convenient. But called Taxi, the car can't come in and must go to the Tram station to take a ride. The equipment of the house is very good and the room is bright. Although the restaurant and bar are downstairs, it does not affect sleep at night. I didn't use the hotel's cooperation restaurant for breakfast. I didn't see the previous evaluation. Because the cafe is downstairs, brunch is provided, which is very convenient. The elevator is very satisfied, don't worry about the old house climbing stairs.
GGalia KashafetdinovaExcellent hotel with a great location. It was love at first sight! The room not only has a coffee machine and a kettle but also a carafe. All amenities are provided, including a bathrobe, slippers, and an iron. The staff is professional. And breakfast isn't just pastries; it includes healthy options and several types of coffee. I liked it so much, I didn't want to leave!
AalbertltThe location was the best, right next to main station, big shopping mall, and tram stops. The room was modern ( it is either very well maintained or recently renovated ). The breakfast was great. It even provide juicer machine where you can make fresh juice by yourself (choices are: apple, carrot, beetroot). Something that I rarely see even in five stars hotel. The most amazing is the hospitality of the staff. We received welcome wawel chocolate during check in and polish pretzel during check out. Special thanks to the receptionist, Ola for passionately explaining the major tourist attractions in the city ( seriously, you have the talent to become a tour leader ;-) ). Also not to forget special thanks to Anita for recommending local polish restaurant and offered welcome chocolate. Both are amazing staff and I can feel their sincerity when serving guest, so make sure you treat them well Mercure, they are your assets :)
JJtbagogoWe stayed three nights at the Venetian House Aparthotel. The location is superb. You exit the hotel straight onto the main square Rynek Glowney. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly, and couldn’t do enough to help. We stayed in room 18 which was approached by its own little balcony overlooking the restaurant downstairs. We didn’t use any of the facilities of the hotel, because we had day trips booked and we knew that we would have early starts on all the days. The room itself was clean, warm, furnished nicely, with comfortable beds and masses of pillows to choose from. It had a small kitchenette with a sink, hob, microwave and fridge. The bathroom was modern and the shower was hot and very powerful. A real treat at the end of a day after many, many steps around Krakow and surrounding areas. We loved our stay and we will definitely return.
WWhy_no_whyThe breakfast was the best , highly recommended! If you would chose this hotel because of the swimming pool - not recommended at all , full and the working time isn’t convenient , location is great , trams are close
AAnonymous UserThe hotel is clean and comfy, perfectly warm for the freezing temperatures outside. Situated right next to Kraków Grzegórzki train station, it was easy to get to/from the airport and to other places via the train as it connects to the Kraków Główny main station.
Staff were helpful, explained where we can go around Kraków. We were given plenty of clean towels, room cleaning service daily. Hair dryer was also provided, with a drinking water dispenser right outside the lift.
Only thing would be the shower as it sometimes pulses between slightly hotter and colder water. Was pleasantly surprised when it’s got heated flooring in the shower though!
Aaya_travelAccess from Krakow Główki Station is simply amazing.
The Old Town is just a short walk away, and the tram is convenient, making the location perfect. Once you get used to it, it's only a five-minute walk from the station via the mall. The mall is closed early in the morning, so you'll need to access the station from outside.
Both the reception staff were very polite, even greeting me in Japanese with a ”thank you,” a truly attentive touch.
The rooms were kept incredibly clean. I only requested housekeeping once during my four-night stay, choosing the ECO option the rest of the time. Two bottles of water were replenished free of charge each day, and I appreciated the thoughtful touch of leaving snacks and fruit for me when I chose the ECO option.
I was particularly surprised by how sparkling the silver details, like the bathroom glass and faucet, were.
I requested a quiet room, and they accommodated my request perfectly, allowing me to relax in complete peace and quiet.
I enjoyed the breakfasts every day, never getting bored. Honeycombs were provided, and I made it a habit to pour them over my yogurt every morning. It was a memorable breakfast.
The only thing that would have been better was if they had provided toothbrushes and toothpaste.
GGuest UserThe location is convenient from the train station and the old town. The room facilities are very good, our room is on the fifth floor, there is always a sound on the top floor at night, but fortunately there is no night. Breakfast food such as Samsung Hotel, hot dishes are also less variety, there are two languages Bowen and English without photos, too inconvenient.
KKikiNZUkI wish I'd read more reviews on other platforms as what I experienced was common and longstanding. It looked good on paper and was affordable. The first room 107 was at the back with a blocked view and air con that didn't work. After 5 hours a/c at 18 but still at 27 in the room I felt like I was suffocating and got moved (3am). Second room 403 great view but curtains cream. Lit up all night. Then light with dawn. And trams outside along with church bells mean you have to be a great sleeper (I had an eye mask and earplugs but to no avail). All rooms have 2 single beds together and 2 single duvets which I personallydont like. It's definitely not 4*. The location was decent but a schlepp to the old town. Good tram connections.
GGuest UserHotel is pretty decent for the price.
In terms of positives, the rooms are pretty good. The pool/ sauna are good. I've been to hotels with pools more like paddling pools, but this one you could actually swim lengths in. It was busy around the evening (5-8), but dead in the morning which meant I could have a nice relaxing swim. Reception were nice and helpful. Breakfast was decent enough, though a bit expensive in my opinion. The big downside for a visitor to Krakow is the hotel is in the middle of nowhere. Around 20 minutes in a taxi to the centre. There's a bus stop outside the hotel, but the only buses which stop there don't go to the centre meaning a connection is needed. Nearest small supermarket around a 7/8 minute walk and there's a big shopping mall 15 minutes by foot. I stayed for work so was happy enough. First time visitors to the city would be better off getting something closer/ better connected to the centre.
