"The room was clean and well-laid out, equipped with a decent-sized fridge and microwave. Across the street is a popular steakhouse, offering great value for money. Just a short walk further is Pattaya's largest 7-Eleven, and it's not far from the beach either. The ladies at the front desk and by the entrance speak Chinese, and their service was exceptional. Breakfast was exquisite and plentiful. The only downside is that rooms close to the road can be very noisy, with motorbikes speeding by late at night. I barely slept the first night, but they moved me to a room at the back on the second day, which greatly improved the experience. The hotel also has a swimming pool, gym, and sauna. For just over 200 baht, staying in a place like this offers excellent value."

Location Jomtien Thani Hotel is situated on Jomtien Beach, in the southern part of Pattaya, offering a much quieter atmosphere compared to the bustling Walking Street and bar areas. In the mornings, the beachfront promenade comes alive with tourists speed-walking, strolling, and jogging, creating a vibrant and energetic seaside scene. The beach is a mere three-minute walk from the hotel entrance. The surrounding area boasts numerous massage parlors, restaurants, and bars, with a 7-Eleven also conveniently close by, making it an extremely convenient location. A taxi to Walking Street costs approximately 60 THB, and to the northernmost Sanctuary of Truth, it's about 100 THB. ### 2. Room Facilities The room facilities are quite new, and indeed, the entire hotel feels recently updated; thankfully, there's no lingering smell of formaldehyde from renovations. The bed was very clean and comfortable, ensuring sound sleep during my 5-day stay. I booked a pool-view room, which offered a great vantage point, allowing me to often hear the joyful sounds of children playing in the pool from my balcony. The bathroom was spacious enough to easily arrange toiletries. A lovely blue woven beach bag is thoughtfully provided for guests to use. The complimentary tea was excellent, Taining brand, and very pleasant to drink. ### 3. Common Areas The main common area is the swimming pool, located on the fourth floor, featuring both a deep end and a shallow children's area. You can conveniently order food and drinks by the poolside, and the loungers were notably clean and comfortable. ### 4. Biggest Highlights The hotel shines with its new facilities, a well-designed room layout (which meant ample space for luggage without feeling cramped), and a suitably sized bathroom, all contributing to excellent value for money. The breakfast was superb, a truly exceptional offering, especially considering the hotel's price range of around 300-400 [currency, likely THB] per night. ### 5. Breakfast Review For coffee lovers, there are two machines: one for traditional coffee and another for various specialty milk teas. The fresh fruit was exceptionally sweet, and the pastry selection varied daily. There was a good variety of delicious meat dishes, with new options introduced every day. The restaurant is quite spacious, so you won't have to wait for a table. ### 6. Summary I would highly recommend this hotel to family and friends, and it's definitely a place I would choose again if I revisit the area. An excellent value-for-money hotel."

"The room is quite spacious and clean. Location is in the center of Pattaya which you can walk to the beach within 5 mins. However, the room is pretty not soundproof. You can still hear the noise and music from outside thru the night. Breakfast is not bad but there was too few staff to serve the needs of customer. It takes some time if you order something even just water."

"The location is excellent. Upon check-in, the security guard asked to see our passports and booking details, and then a butler came to escort us in, which made us feel very secure. The room is small but clean and tidy, equipped with a fridge, washing machine, and an electric stove. The highlight is definitely the pools. Building A has a beautiful infinity pool on its top floor, and Building B has a pool and a gym on the third floor. Your room card grants access to the elevators in both buildings. I'm very satisfied; I almost learned how to swim during my stay!"

"For the price, the location is excellent — very close to the beach, and there’s a 7-Eleven right under the hotel. Everything was good except that the room had some cockroaches, and they charged extra for additional pillows, which I didn’t like."

"A very very nice hotel. But it needs updating. There are two pools and right by the beach. Truly a stone throw away. The room are huge, with tons of room. The service at the front dash and the bell men were very welcoming. The pool needs to be cleaned every day. I mean and deep vacuum clean. The pool is also missing a lot of tiles and needed renovation. All in all. This would go from a 3 star to a 4 star hotel and even more."

"We loved our stay! We were upgraded for free to a sea-view room on the 12th floor. The morning buffet was fantastic — our child especially enjoyed the donuts and waffles. The room was not large, but everything was thoughtfully designed and of high quality. Everything felt new and fresh. Highly recommended! Good location near Terminal 21 and beach."

"Of course, i wouldn’t expect anything than my previous mercure experience but still a little disappointed. For hotel condition, you can imagine these factors 1. Mercure standard 2. Water park which people walk in wet 3. Pet friendly 4. Light color carpet Looks a little dirty especially hallway. The elevator is under maintenance since July 18th and no sign for completion at the date of August 11th. This is a little inconvenient as 1 guest elevator is definitely not enough (full one will not stop and our family experience this a few times) The room on the other hand slightly better than the hallway. The front seems to be more useful than it usually is. I pay for extra bed and let them know that i will go to swimming pool. They said they would set the bed up ready when we are back and of course they did not. I went down pick up my delivery food the front ask me if i need the spoon. The request is at least half hour before the spoon sent to my room. Only two plus i would give are 1. considerably walkable to beach and shopping mall. 7-11 is in front of the hotel. 2. My children love the water park (it’s a bit smaller than it looks in the photo tho) All in all, if you are looking for an affordable room with ok location and fun water park for your children not perfectly brand new clean with not very much service this is the hotel for you."

"Pretty good! The hotel is right by the sea with a great environment. There are three large pools downstairs, and a 7-Eleven is not far away. It's suitable for families with kids and offers excellent value for money."
