Walk to skiing in winter or enjoy hiking, golf, zip-lining, tubing, and the indoor water park year-round. Relax, play, and make mountain memories anytime of the year!The house has two bedrooms and a full bathroom on the upper, entry level. There’s also a washer and dryer on that level available for guest use. The lower level has the living room, dining room and kitchen. There’s also the master bedroom and a full bathroom in this level. The dining room and master bedrooms have doors out to the spacious back deck. The deck has a table to enjoy a meal at or relax and a gas grill for you to use. The house has a stand up arcade game, firepit on the back deck, portable ping-pong set and PlayStation 2 with loads of games and our favorite karaoke!Nestled within the trees of Massanutten Resort, you’ll love the wooded setting as you escape from the hustle and bustle of the world. Located on the only street in Massanutten with ski-out access, our home offers a unique convenience for ski enthusiasts. While not directly on the slopes, it’s just a quick 1,000-foot walk to the end of our cul-de-sac, where you can ski out onto the top of Easy Street slope.The house is pet friendly but guests must get prior approval before arrival and pay a $100 pet fee. Nestled within the trees of Massanutten Resort which is not just a ski resort but truly a year-round destination. Of course there are amazing winter sports, with 1,110 feet of vertical - the most in VA, MD, or PA. The resort includes 14 trails, all lit for night-skiing as well and offers ice skating and snow-tubing. But don’t forget about the golf, mini-golf, go-karts, bungee-jumping, zip line, mountain biking, hiking, horseback riding, spa…and the INDOOR WATER PARK open all year-long. The Shenandoah River can be accessed from only 5 miles from the Resort entrance. Spend a day fishing, tubing or kayaking on the river! Home features a stocked kitchen, memory foam mattresses, balcony, patio, pool table, ping pong, and hot tub. There is access to year-round indoor/outdoor Massanutten amenities: community pool (additional fee w/pass), tennis courts, etc. Home is minutes away from slopes, waterpark, golfing, zip-lining, fishing, trails, Shenandoah Park, Skyline Drive, & JMU.The CubHouse has 2 levels. The main level features a large living room with a comfortable sectional couch, electric fireplace, 55” smart TV, kitchen, balcony with seating, large 10-seat dining table for family dinners and game nights, and 3 bedrooms/2 bathrooms. The primary bedroom has a queen bed, 43” smart TV, dresser, office desk, walk-in closet, and ensuite bathroom. Additional bedrooms include queen beds, dressers, and brand new 43” smart TVs.The lower level features 2 bedrooms, 1 full bathroom, and a family room with a ping-pong table, 50” smart tv, dining table set, full-size washer/dryer, microwave, and giant bean bag. The garage features a pool table and an electric fireplace.There are 3 full bathrooms with shower/tub combos, one is in the primary bedroom and two are split between upstairs and downstairs common areas. Body towels, hand towels, bathmats, and hairdryers are provided.The patio is accessible from the family room on the lower level and comes complete with patio furniture for outdoor lounging, a gas grill, and a 4-person hot tub.There is plenty of parking in front of the house (2 cars), side patio driveway (4-5 cars), or even in the resort. Depending on size, we can accommodate 6-7 vehicles. Parking on the street is not permitted per resort HOA.Guests should park on the driveway in front of the house to access the code-accessed front door. Additional parking is available around the corner, near the garage and outdoor patio area. It is on a decline and can be difficult to see at night. Welcome to Deer Haven, a newly renovated and decorated home in the heart of Massanutten Resort. You'll love the peaceful and private setting as you relax in the hot tub or sip wine around the firepit, surrounded by trees on all sides. With 4 bedrooms, the house sleeps 11 (but max of 8 adults). The modern living room boasts a soaring A-frame ceiling, and downstairs is a second living room / game room with pool table and arcade. The kitchen and bathrooms are newly remodeled. The house is about a 5 minute drive to the slopes, pool, and dining at Massanutten, 6 minutes to the spa, and 7 minutes to the indoor/outdoor Waterpark. The Swift Run Gap entrance to Shenandoah National Park is 15 minutes away with some of the best hiking on the east coast. JMU and everything else in Harrisonburg is 20 minutes away, and there are several breweries, wineries, and restaurants within 15-20 minutes of the house.During the summer (Memorial day to Labor day), our guests may use the Stonewall Terrace Pool (4030 Peak Drive) at Massanutten, which is a 4-minute drive from the house. Pool access is limited to a maximum of 8 guests per group at any time. The pool also has a snack bar and ice cream shop. Lifeguards will be on duty.The pool is included, but other resort activities (like the water park, skiing, go-karts, snow tubing, etc.) must be booked and paid for through the resort.
