WWuyoujieIf you want to find a place to relax, hang out with three or two friends, and take a bath, I think this homestay is definitely your best choice. I saw it on Ctrip, and it was rated 5 points. Then I tried to contact the store lady. I didn't expect the way the lady communicated with me was very comfortable, like old friends who hadn't seen each other for many years, joking with each other, and helped us upgrade the room with a hot spring for free. We didn't bring swimsuits, so she helped us contact several friends and asked where to buy swimsuits in this season. It was very considerate. This was before I checked in, I felt the warmth. After arriving at the store, the white walls set off by the warm light in the evening made people feel a little surprised. The store lady had already put water in advance for us, and the heating in the room had been turned on. It was really thoughtful and considerate. The style of the whole homestay is what I like, petty bourgeoisie and smart, the basic facilities in the room are smart, and the two lazy sofas on the pedals in the room are also my favorite areas, and the makeup mirror in the bathroom is also warm light. By the way, especially the wash and care set, it is very useful, and conditioner is also prepared. I like this point too. The bed is very comfortable. I travel a lot on business trips and have high requirements for beds. The bed is very comfortable and the pillows are not that high, just right. The hot spring is very clean, and the small courtyard is also very clean. It doesn't make people feel that they are fooling around. Now many pictures on the B&B APP are almost just for looking at, and I didn't expect it to be so amazing. Having said so much, I have to talk about breakfast, which is carefully prepared for us. They wake you up only after it is ready, which is also very attentive. I believe they are taking care of every guest. What makes me most satisfied is that our requirements are solved to the greatest extent. If you want to drink coffee, they hand-grind coffee for us and bring it to our table. It's a very comfortable relationship. A very tolerant store. The hotel is located halfway up the mountain. Sitting in the yard in the morning, drinking coffee, and looking at the distant mountains will make us forget the bad things in real life for a short time. I think this is the meaning of vacation, coming to a comfortable place, relaxing yourself, enjoying a moment of tranquility, and enjoying the beautiful mountain scenery. The mountains in early spring also have a unique scenery, which makes people linger and have a rare experience. This made our vacation truly relaxing.

MM35239****I've stayed here a few times before, and my previous experiences were all great. This time, unfortunately, there were a few things that weren't quite up to par.
1. The booking interface showed rooms with and without exercise bikes. I chose one without, hoping to move the desk around easily, but I still got a room with a bike. Since I was already settled in, I didn't bother changing.
2. There seemed to be some drip marks on the bathroom floor. I hope it was just dried water.
3. This was the most surprising thing this time: When I woke up in the morning, the room was quite dark, and I only then noticed how large the gap at the bottom of the door was, and that it was clearly crooked compared to the top. I tried checking from the outside, and it seems like there's something obstructing the outer door frame, but the gap itself is indeed very large and crooked.

__WeChat33418****I booked this hotel for my parents so they could attend an event in Tianjin. It was a huge disappointment!
First, I booked the room several days in advance. When we checked in, we were upgraded to an executive room. The front desk staff told us we could dine on the first floor or in the executive lounge. After their nap, my parents went to the first-floor café to ask if drinks were complimentary as part of the executive room service. The waiter replied, “Coffee is free, everything else costs extra.” My parents ordered two coffees, and after they finished, they were told the total was 120.00 yuan. To avoid spoiling everyone's mood, I paid.
Secondly, when I accompanied them, I noticed there were no welcome fruits or welcome card. I thought maybe it was because of the last-minute room upgrade, and they hadn't had time. But when we returned from our errands in the afternoon, there still weren't any. I happened to see a staff member delivering welcome fruits to another room, so I asked, and the staff member said, “I don't know.” Later that evening, I encountered another staff member who said, “Let me ask.” So, around 9 PM, we finally received the welcome fruits.
Furthermore, this was the first time I've stayed in an executive room at a hotel of this caliber that didn't offer turn-down service.
Also, there were noticeable stains on the glasses in the room. The same applied in the executive lounge; you had to pick through the cups, and dirty dessert spoons were mixed in with clean ones. I mentioned it to a staff member, who smiled and replied, “Okay, please just pick out the clean ones for now.”
The bedding felt like high-thread-count cotton, but the pillowcase seams were tattered and frayed.
I'm not sure if these issues are because this hotel isn't the Ritz-Carlton international chain I thought it was, or if they 'discount' their service in various ways because I booked through a platform and didn't pay the full price.
So many baffling bugs.
Pros: The food was delicious, but I have concerns about the hygiene. All the staff members were cheerful, except for one chef in the executive lounge who always looked glum.

PPakteemaThe four season Tianjin has the perfect blend of historic charm and modern facilities. I booked one of their spacious suites, which were decorated beautifully.
I received first-class service from the moment I arrived at the hotel until the moment I left.
Ms. Dephne Ng. , the manger, was very helpful and provided me a warm hospitality. She is very professional and always check if I receive everything I need. I was so impressed with the level of service and attention to detail.
The staff was also incredibly friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable.
The room was clean, spacious, and well-appointed, with all the amenities I needed. The breakfast buffet was excellent, offering a wide variety of delicious options. I also appreciated the hotel's location, which was convenient to many attractions and very close to shopping streets, department store and restaurants.
Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a fantastic place with excellent service to stay in Tianjin.

BBritExplorerWe enjoyed our stay in the Shanghai-La and booked an executive room which meant we got the lounge access which is definitely worth the extra.
The service was very good throughout, the room and food were excellent. The spa was also lovely and not too busy. In terms of location I probably wouldn’t stay again as a tourist as it felt a bit further from the popular spots, there weren’t many places a short walk away. However it would be perfect for a business traveller.

JJBright054We had booked two rooms for a night stopover while traveling on to Putuo. Tianjin was a good stop and the Holiday Inn was always a good choice.
The location was good to allow for an early departure on the right side of town. Now onto the hotel comments.
Front desk was very helpful and dealt with the check in swiftly and professionally. Rooms were spacious and very clean. The view was nothing special looking over the streets.
The breakfast in the morning was rather disappointing with food choice being average but unfortunately the chef's attitude to my wife asking what they had for vegatarians was ”Nothing” when they obviously had veggies there but when a chef at a restaurant is asked he will offer to dish up some additional dish. This upset my wife and unfortunately this incident will put us off staying there on our next trip.
Apart from this incident, and the coffee being cold, I would still recommend if traveling through for others as long as you do not expect good service from the restaurant.

The only drawback is there aren't too many shops downstairs, so you'll need to order food/snacks online and get them delivered to the hotel.

GGuest UserThe spacious round bathtub was a definite highlight. Overall, both the facilities and service were excellent; it felt much newer than we had expected. The service was top-notch, and the breakfast offered a fantastic variety. All in all, it was a truly wonderful experience, and it will be our first choice for any future visits to Tianjin. At check-out, the kind lady at the front desk gave the children various gifts, which was a truly heartwarming gesture. The kids were absolutely delighted and said they can't wait to stay here again!

One of the biggest drawbacks was the layout—accessing the fitness center and swimming pool felt like navigating a maze. The dim lighting and confusing pathways made the experience uninviting, so I ultimately decided not to swim.
On a positive note, the buffet dinner was enjoyable, offering a good selection, including free-flow standard spirits, lobster, and hotpot. Breakfast was decent as well—not bad, but with room for improvement.
The hotel is located in a newer area of town, making it a convenient choice if you're planning to visit attractions like the Maritime Museum or the TEDA Aircraft Carrier Museum. While the location adds to its competitiveness, the hotel itself could benefit from significant updates to stay on par with newer options in the area.
