Great location, but everything else is pretty mediocre. You have to check out and check back in every day, even for consecutive stays – I saw the front desk trying to explain this to a bewildered foreigner. The room doors are incredibly loud when opening and closing. Seriously, it's the 21st century, why are we still using keys? No electronic locks? Overall, very average. On the plus side, there's an Afuri ramen right next door, which is pretty good and refreshing.

It's close to the station, always clean, and the washbasin and lockers were conveniently located. Being able to come and go 24 hours was great, and the showers were empty late at night. The mats provided were also a nice touch. I learned that there's an extra charge for requesting a lower bunk, which apparently is a new policy. Those who prefer a lower bunk should keep this in mind. I plan to book here again the next time I visit Tokyo.
