Nice and convenient place to stay to expire around Ueno . Beautiful room, nice and spacious bed, perfect colour combination make it a very comfortable stay even for a night . Cheap over night parking just downstair at 400 Yến from 1800 hr to 0800hrs and side parking available 200 m away. Not far from train station probably a 15 min walk .

The hotel's location is super convenient, just a few minutes' walk from Senso-ji Temple, and there are tons of food options nearby. The front desk staff were really friendly and helpful, and they even offered luggage storage. The room felt a bit like a 'hostel plus' version – pretty small, and the bathrooms were shared, but they were very clean. The facilities were also comprehensive, with a washing machine that had a drying function and a kitchen. Plus, there's a FamilyMart right downstairs. Overall, definitely recommend it!

Location: It's a convenient and less chaotic area, yet close to all the city centers like Tokyo and Shibuya. I've stayed in Ueno before and found it too busy. Hotel: It's less than a 5-minute walk from the station. There's a supermarket and the Arte shopping mall in the station itself. On the way to the hotel, there are Family Marts at both ends, which is super convenient. Plus, there are many fast-food restaurants nearby. Room: For a hostel in Tokyo, it's excellent. The Japanese standard of cleanliness is very high, and it has all the amenities. There were practically no issues at all.

The owner is very kind and the facilities are excellent and sufficient. The ambiance is also nice. The only minor downsides are the soundproofing and the room space, which might not be large enough to fully open a suitcase, so keep that in mind. It's close to the station with plenty of food options nearby, offering great convenience. The owner's English accent is quite strong. Highly recommended, I'd definitely go again if I have the chance.

This is a fantastic hotel! Check-in and check-out were super easy. It's very clean, hygienic, and comfortable. The price is definitely worth it. It's only about 300 meters from Honjo Azumabashi Station and also quite close to Asakusa Station, both within walking distance. You can even walk to Senso-ji Temple and Kaminarimon, which is what I did! The hotel also provides a coffee machine, refrigerator, bathtub, and all essential appliances – excellent! This hotel is small but has everything you need. Just be aware it's not ideal for going out late at night; the location is very quiet, unless you're with a group of friends.

Luggage storage and toothbrush/toothpaste + tea/coffee included, no front desk after 10 pm but you can self check in anytime. Very clean and quiet place with nice staff, and amazing location next to the Asakusa Station. Perfect for solo travelers who want a cheap and comfortable place to stay. Umbrellas to ren for free came in very useful during the rainy season.

Location: In Maruyama-cho, Shibuya, just a stone's throw away from the bustling Shibuya station. Price: I booked during Golden Week, and you won't find another place to sleep in Shibuya for the same price. Bed: It's sized for Chinese guests, wider than traditional Japanese capsule hotels, and comes with a USB port and regular power outlets, so no worries about charging. The first picture shows the room size after removing the duvet cover. For just one night's sleep and a shower, this place is impeccable.

I stayed at Beautiful Kamiya Resort for two nights. Location location location! At Mitake station there are lockers to store luggage. They fit a carry on for sure but maybe even a large suitcase. 500 yen for up to three days. I was outdoors the majority of the time but was at ease knowing a comfortable warm bed and hot bath awaits me. The kitchen is very basic but good for simple meals. Electric cook top, microwave, hot water pot, refrigerator etc. The bad tub is almost as large as a car. Separate toilet and tub areas. Lots of power outlets throughout. Plenty of hot water and clean towels. There is some traffic noise but not a big deal at least for me. This area is absolutely beautiful. Mountains, trees, river, friendly shop keepers and amazing hiking. It rained everyday except my last day of course. It was not really a rain but more like a Seattle mist. I was able to hike the entire main loop but did not peak Mt Otake as I did not have the correct footwear. There is a bus from 30 yards south of the Mitake train station that departs to the Mt Mitake cable car. The entire day round trip is about 1200 yen but honestly I did not keep track down to the penny. I had the most delicious cold udon dish ever at the Small village about 1/2 mile hike above the cable car station. They used local mountain vegetables. My first time ever to taste wild Miatake mushroom tempura. I was in heaven! Cons: no convenience stores in the area however there is a small store between the public train station restrooms and the train station. Lights from the street and nearby buildings come through some windows but there is a window shuttle that can be closed. It's 5-7 minutes walk to and from the Mitake train station. Having a car would be more convenient. I did not try any taxi service so I'm not sure if there is the option.

The condition is better than I expected, it's easy to get to Asakusa, and you can walk to the subway in less than 5 minutes. There are many restaurants nearby and convenience stores such as Lawson, Family Mart, and 7-Eleven are located within 5 minutes. First of all, the private bathroom is not in the room. It's outside. We used the second floor and were in rooms 201 and 202. If there are two rooms, there are two toilets and two bathrooms outside, which are used exclusively for the room. I don't have any pictures, so I'll just post a picture of the bathroom. It was nice that each item was separate. There aren't any downsides, but the owner was a bit harsh but not unfriendly. Still, I had a good stay. For 3 nights and 4 days And one thing is that the door is locked after 12 o'clock!!! Please note this! Have a nice trip to Japan everyone😆

the bathroom was moldy with green mold, and the blankets were a bit dusty. I think they have a mold problem, because the place is quite old and most likely they haven't done routine maintanence because of it. I stayed for 2 nights. I couldn't stop sneezing and had a runny nose throughout the whole stay. I didn't know what mold spore infection could do until that day. it's been a week since I've checked out and I still have a runny nose and my throat is very dry and sore. This is my first time being exposed to mold this bad. I also did not know mold spores could stay on items, so now I have to clean my whole room with a sore throat... (it might take weeks to recover from it, maybe months to recover fully) The rooms are nice for the price (7,700k a night), and the service was nice and the owners were accomodating, but unfortunately the mold might be a health risk. It's just the mold in the bath, and most likely the spores spread out in the rooms as well... I don't want to ruin the business or anything, because the location was good (near the station, but very steep) and the price is okay, supposedly. But because I think it's a health risk, I thought I should write about it since I didn't see a lot- if not anyone talk about the mold in the reviews;; I would not have booked it if I had known about the mold. I don't want to risk my health :')
