Stayed with a family during our trip. The hotel is rather busy and doesn't provide any personal touch but nevertheless is a great value for the money. The staff is very helpful. The location is great, just steps away from the Ueno railway station and JR/subway lines. There are many conbini shops, restaurants and bars open until late night. But be aware that there is a bar&night club street just in the back of the hotel - at first we felt concerned about noise and safety at first but in reality it didn't cause any inconvenience for us. The shopping in the area is great as well. The room is equipped with all necessary amenities and dishware. Beds and futons are very comfortable and the view on the Ueno park is just amazing. Very nice public bath is open for guests till the midnight.

The location is a bit far from the station. However, the washing machine and the room's microwave and pans are special features. The bunk beds, each with its own individual lighting control, were fantastic. The view...was...overlooking the cemetery, so I had to close the window. Other than the station's accessibility, the elevator was fast and the staff were friendly.
