Great
GGuest UserThe Pullman Hotel boasts an excellent location, offering incredibly convenient train access to the surrounding areas of Lyon. Right across the street is the large Westfild mall, complete with a Carrefour, fast-food restaurants, and various shops. The rooms are spacious, with separate wet and dry areas, and are spotlessly clean and well-equipped. What really stood out was the reception staff, who were all very friendly and welcoming. One male front desk attendant was particularly helpful when I asked for directions to some lesser-known attractions; he eagerly looked up the routes online for me. The room's lighting controls were quite innovative, and when I couldn't figure them out on the first night, he personally came up to my room the next day to demonstrate them. This made me feel truly at home. Many thanks to Pullman for such a wonderful experience.
GGuest UserWe stayed at their suite for 2 nights. Absolutely worth every penny we paid. Very large room with a small kitchen enough to cook a light meal for a small family. Beds are comfy. Location is quiet. We drove around the city so cannot comment on public transport. They have a carpark in the building. Restaurant for dinner and breakfast room are both up to par. We enjoyed our stay very much. Would recommend, and we plan to try out other hotels in the same brand in the future!

GGuest UserThis hotel is weird. The room is stayed in had a first and a second door. The first door looked like a service cupboard door. The room was tiny and while there was a nice big windows i guess it used to be a servant's room adjoining a master suite? Not sure, but it was definitely something else before. Anyway the room worked as a bedroom but I wouldn't have wanted to stay there long term other than for the breakfast that was excellent and in a gorgeous room. They also had these nice freshwater dispensers on each floor. The lifts are not coordinated but the art on the stairs made up for having to climb them. In all I would say it was like they had a lovely old building and didn't want to mess with its bones too much. However, in order to make it into a modern functioning hotel they had to make some changes, which then they did a bit sporadically and on the cheap.

GGuest UserI was very disappointed with our stay at this hotel. Unfortunately, we encountered a few not very friendly staff at the reception. They didn’t do anything in particular that we would consider rude - but they just had a cold attitude. Some of their staff seem to have treated other guests a little differently for instance walking them to the lift and giving them more information about the hotel. This really impacted our experience at the hotel. However, I must say many of their staff were amazing, just a handful that were very cold and dismissive and this is not the level of hospitality you would expect from such a renowned hotel.
The room also looked and felt quite different than what is shown on trip.com and their official website.
I would still highly recommend this hotel if you’re visiting Lyon!

GGuest UserThere is nothing in the room. You need to bring your own slippers, toothbrush, toothpaste, and towels. The location is a bit strange. I left early the next morning and wanted to ask the hotel if they could pack bread. The attitude of the guy at the front desk was rather perfunctory. It was not my business and I had no idea. The advance payment was forcibly deducted and has not been returned yet. I am so scared!

GGuest UserHotel in the centre of the Rhône and Saône rivers. It is noticeable that there are stairs of about one meter on every floor to reach the rear part of the hotel. This is a careful thing if you have problems with walking. The swimming pool is on the ground floor and you can swim around 5 meters in the afternoon or evening to a bubble pool in a kind of built cave. For transport from and to station Part Dieu you can take the bus or the metro. The bus doesn't go so often.

GGuest UserWhat I like most about the hotel is that the towels are soft and the toiletries are also good! And the view at 6 o'clock in the morning! Because I don't know how to use the blackout curtains, I need to adjust them, and the curtains can't block out the light. I think the carpet is a bit old. Although there is no odor in the room, the corridor, door and carpet are all old styles. I didn't live very comfortably. Although the quilt and bed are very comfortable, I always feel a little gloomy. The waiter is very good! The minibar is free to use, and there is a 14-hour room service. It is not suitable for long-term stay.

AAng_ieOur stay at Hotel Beau Rivage felt like a quiet pause along the journey. It’s the kind of place where you slow down without trying, simply because of where you are.
The location is truly lovely—surrounded by nature, with greenery all around. It immediately felt peaceful, almost grounding, as if the hotel blends naturally into its surroundings rather than standing apart from them.
One of the highlights was the view over the Rhône River. Watching the water flow by added a gentle rhythm to our stay, whether in the soft morning light or later in the day as everything settled into evening. It’s the sort of view that makes you linger a little longer, even if you’re just passing through.
As a stopover location, the hotel worked perfectly. It was convenient, easy to access, and restful—exactly what you hope for when breaking up a longer journey.
Hotel Beau Rivage didn’t need to do much to impress. The natural setting, the river views, and its ease as a stopover made it a calm and memorable place to rest before moving on.
DDingxiangmaoCheck-in convenience: Self check-in was very convenient. Safety: All room doors have locks and require a key card to enter. Facilities: Has everything you need, including a shared kitchen for cooking. Hygiene: Someone cleans regularly, and the bathrooms and showers are relatively clean.
