Beach Hotels in Bang Lamung

The hotel's location isn't out of the way; turn left or right, and you'll find plenty of food, drinks, and massage places. There's also a 7-Eleven, which isn't super close like right downstairs, but it's not far either. The front desk staff were standard—not overly cold, but definitely not warm. They answered all questions, which was fine. No 8-toothed smiles like I experienced in Phuket, and no one helped with luggage; I was on my own the whole time. I stayed on the 5th floor in a pool-view room. The 4th floor has the restaurant and pool, and the pool includes a simple kids' play area. So, that pool was incredibly noisy. Kids' screaming started around 7 AM. The soundproofing in the room isn't great. Around 3 AM on the 20th, some people checked in, and their kids sounded like screaming chickens, while the adults were slamming doors loudly. The entire hallway vibrated with the screaming, shouting, and door slamming, which lasted about an hour, finally stopping around 4 AM. No staff intervened or managed the situation. I thought breakfast was pretty good, with a decent variety. If you walk a bit to the left after leaving the hotel, you'll reach the beach. However, the stretch from the road to the water is very narrow, the sand is very coarse, mixed with small pebbles, and the seawater is murky. My feet hurt from walking in flip-flops on the sand. A taxi to Terminal 21 costs around 150 Thai Baht.

Booked a basic room, and got an upgrade since I checked in late. The view was absolutely amazing! Overall, the service was good. The dining options nearby were pretty satisfying for daily needs, and transportation was convenient; you could easily hail a taxi anytime.

I'm a repeat guest at Fifth Pattaya. And I keep coming back for more. I find the Grand Deluxe rooms more than adequate with a fantastic kitchenette, private balconies and many of the rooms have just undergone renovation. The breakfast is most acceptable, the location from the beach is just a 3 to 5 minute stroll, the staff of super friendly and efficient. There's no place I'd be happier to stay at.

Excellent Stay with a Great Vibe – Highly Recommended! I had a wonderful and truly relaxing time at this hotel. It is the perfect place to unwind and escape the hustle and bustle. What I loved: • Amazing Atmosphere & Peace: The hotel is incredibly quiet and peaceful. If you love sunbathing, I highly recommend the swimming pool on the 2nd floor. It offers a great view, a super refreshing breeze, and a totally serene vibe. • Outstanding Service: The staff were lovely, always smiling, and more than happy to answer all my questions. Plus, a huge bonus: they allowed me to check in before 3:00 PM since my room was already ready! • Wellness & Facilities: I unfortunately missed trying out their ice bath wellness experience this time, but I am definitely coming back to try it next time! A few notes: • The room has a charming, vintage style. • In terms of cleanliness, I did find a few stray hairs in the bathtub when I arrived. It wasn't a dealbreaker, but worth mentioning for a quick double-check. Overall, it was a great experience with top-notch hospitality. I will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful stay at Cape Dara Resort Pattaya. One of the things we loved most was the resort's direct access to the beach, making it so easy to enjoy the sea and relax by the shore. The complimentary shuttle service to Dolphin Roundabout was also a great convenience, especially for exploring the nearby cafes, restaurants, and shopping areas without needing a taxi. The pools were fantastic, and both Twinkle and Walala offered beautiful sea views. They were the perfect spots to unwind with a drink while watching the ocean. A special thank you to The Radius Restaurant for reserving such a wonderful table for us during sunset. The view was absolutely breathtaking and made our dining experience even more memorable. Our corner room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and offered a stunning panoramic sea view. We were also pleasantly surprised when housekeeping created a lovely pair of elephant towels on our bed—it was such a thoughtful touch that brought a smile to our faces. Overall, the service was warm and attentive, the facilities were excellent, and the location was perfect. We truly enjoyed every moment of our stay and would happily return to Cape Dara Resort on our next visit to Pattaya.

We had a great stay here , the room itself was great. Very spacious,cozy and modern at the same time. The restaurant offers a huge variety of different options although the breakfast was the only average part. The swimming pools are nice and well looked after and the massage bed beside the pool is a very nice touch. I recommend everyone to try it at least once. The staff was very nice,cheerfull and very much helpful and ready to assist us in any matter. The gym was very underwhelming for me as the equipment is very very limited and it’s not a 24h gym as other hotels around here offer. The hotel is located by the beach so that is a big advantage as well. Overall I enjoyed my time here and I praise the staff for the wonderful hospitality and the smooth service they provided us.

The traditional Thai style, with direct pool access from the room, is perfect for a family vacation with kids. Stepping out, you're right at the sea, and an evening stroll along the beach is incredibly relaxing! It's very clean, and the breakfast is tempting too! The pool is lined with classic tropical frangipani trees, giving off a strong holiday vibe! Everyone from the front desk to the housekeepers and security guards were warm and attentive, making us feel right at home!

I was very satisfied with the location and service. Everything was outstanding. I'd like to thank all the staff; they provided me with an amazing holiday. The location is already a perfect 10. With doors opening to both roads, you can exit from the Beach Road side and reach Central Festival or Walking Street in 5 minutes via baht bus. If you exit from the Second Road side, Terminal 21 is just a 3-minute walk away.

I really loved this hotel! It has a unique atmosphere – quiet, peaceful, cozy, and very intimate. It’s the perfect place if you want to escape the hustle and bustle and simply enjoy the sea. The rooms are beautiful, the grounds are pleasant, and the staff are friendly. Everything contributes to a relaxing stay. I felt very comfortable throughout my time here. If you're looking for a genuinely cozy hotel with a pleasant atmosphere rather than a noisy one, Modus Beachfront Resort is an excellent choice. I would happily return here again!

Great location and reasonable price! It's right by the seafront, which makes it easy to get around. Plus, it's super convenient to catch the coastal songthaew. The room is spacious, and the AC works wonderfully, keeping it nice and cool. If you're a light sleeper, the music from the nearby entertainment area might bother you, but then again, isn't that part of the Pattaya experience? You probably have to consider both the hotel's location and Pattaya's overall vibe. As a heavy sleeper myself, I slept like a baby! They take a 1000 baht cash deposit which is returned upon check-out. There are 7-Elevens everywhere – front, side, and back – making it easy to grab anything you need. Thanks to this place, I had a fantastic time in Pattaya. I'll definitely be back! 🤗
