Gaoyou Hotels with Breakfast

A very satisfying homestay experience, I will recommend it to friends and family. The location of the B&B is very good, next to an ancient and quiet mosque; it takes only five minutes by car to reach the vast Gaoyou Lake Observation Deck. Environment: clean and beautiful. The guest rooms are surrounded by a large and tidy courtyard, which is full of green plants and flowers even in winter. The courtyard is neatly arranged with various leisure facilities such as pavilions, swings and elegant seats. With abundant public areas, one can truly feel that one is living in a slow time. Service: As soon as you enter the room, you will feel the warmth. The proprietress will carefully turn on the air conditioner before each guest arrives. When checking in, the proprietress enthusiastically introduced the various areas of the B&B and nearby attractions. Because the food we brought needed to be put in the refrigerator, the landlady came to remind us not to forget to take it before we checked out. Dining: Surprise, the hotel's coffee and book bar is cozy and literary, the coffee and snacks are affordable and of great quality👍. The homestay also includes breakfast, which includes fragrant and glutinous millet porridge, various side dishes, N kinds of steamed buns, corn and sweet potatoes. It is a light and refreshing breakfast that is very appetizing during the Chinese New Year. Guest Rooms: The rooms are very spacious and fully meet the standards of a four-star hotel. The furniture and facilities are relatively new and very clean. Others: This is a pet-friendly B&B, and the proprietress is very caring. A few days before I came, two little puppies were abandoned at the door of the B&B. The owner took them in and took good care of them. She also found a foster home for them. On the third day of the Chinese New Year, the adopters took them home. The little puppies are now in the care of their new owners. The picture of being held in arms is the most beautiful scene in the New Year.

Yes, the selected big bed room, the room is very spacious, the bed is very comfortable, the customer service staff is very warm, the toothpaste and shampoo shower gel in the room are orange-flavored, I especially like the orange taste, I feel very good, the price is cheap and sufficient.

I liked it very much, hotel is modern, built 2024, everything is shining. The only hotel with electronic toilet seat with heating :)

The hotel's location is good, the facilities are complete, it's clean and the environment is pleasant. The service is excellent, and the breakfast offers local specialties. There's a self-service mineral water dispenser by the elevator, which is a nice touch. They even gave us Gaoyou salted duck eggs! Definitely worth staying here!

Overall, it's pretty good. Gaoyou isn't a big city, so it's close to all the attractions. They offer a free breakfast with a decent variety. The only downside is the poor soundproofing; you can hear people showering and flushing the toilet upstairs very clearly.

Pass through Gaoyou to play. This hotel is the same as the Huanghua Hotel. This restaurant does not have a front desk and restaurant, and it uses the Huanghua Hotel. Thanks to the little beauty at the front desk, the window has been upgraded to see the canal. The restaurant has its own characteristics, and the children also played around. The two 1.15 beds, although the sparrow is small and complete. It is very convenient to go to Wang Zengxu Memorial Hall. Nanmen Street is about ten yuan by taxi. The hotel's own restaurant on the second floor is very good. There are actually many small dishes. You can try many types. Wild garlic scrambled eggs are very fragrant.

The hotel is quiet, it is very convenient to eat and drink around, it is quite quiet, parking is better, the hotel bed is very comfortable, clean and tidy, next time you come here

The location is good next to the Donghu Wetland Park (walking distance) although it's hard getting around if you don't have a car. The place is big, and you get a balcony with your room. It's also quiet. Unfortunately, the day I was leaving, my Didi/taxi driver I got ended up wasting my time for 30min (he kept driving further away from me--I don't know why) and then canceled on me and made me miss my train (I'm sure the hotel staff remember me exploding on the phone with him in the lobby). The hotel was good enough to arrange a ride for me (although I still didn't make the train on time). Luckily, I was able to get another train as I had to be at work at 7am the next morning. Anyway--it's a fine hotel for the money, but I wish transportation from there was a bit more reliable/frequent.

The room was spacious, and amenities like the projector and AC were quite new. The inclusion of a clothes drying rack was a thoughtful touch. The shower had excellent water pressure and plenty of hot water. Since it was a special offer room without a window, I felt a bit disoriented in the morning and lost track of time. The front desk lady provided exceptional service; she was incredibly patient and attentive, even when I asked to change rooms multiple times. I'd definitely recommend the owner give her a commendation, haha. Overall, everything was good, but there were two issues I was quite unhappy with. Firstly, the elevator doesn't go directly to all floors, and when there was a wedding banquet upstairs, the elevator skipped our floor entirely. Secondly, the room's soundproofing was absolutely terrible!!!!! At 2:30 AM, I was woken up by the neighbors watching a TV show and discussing the plot. I could hear everything crystal clear, and it didn't stop until 4 AM. It seemed other guests could hear it too, as someone even knocked on their door. Being utterly exhausted yet forced awake was truly a torment. After only three hours of sleep, I woke up feeling completely lost and out of sorts. 😅

Very clean and hygienic, though a bit old. I would definitely stay here again — an excellent hotel overall.
