Shimanto Hotels with Breakfast

Founded in 1963, around the time of the Tokyo Olympics, the property first opened as “Hotel Nakamura,” the first hotel in Nakamura City (now Shimanto City). Our inn is a small secluded retreat located on Castle Hill, the site of the former Nakamura Castle. As you travel up the mountain road and pass through a tunnel of trees, you will discover a tranquil world apart from everyday life. Overlooking the Shimanto River and town below, the inn offers an exceptionally peaceful atmosphere away from the bustle of the city. We hope our guests can spend relaxing and unhurried moments in this hidden retreat. Our wish is for every visitor to feel as though they have returned to their own hometown the moment they arrive.
