Great
AAnonymous UserThis is a great budget hotel near Calle Crisologo (5 min walk maybe). Free breakfast was delicious. Room is satisfactory, with aircon andcomplimentary towels. Comfort room was clean and there is a heater. The whole staff is nice. Thank you so much for a great stay.
GGuest UserIt was very touching because it was a hotel with traditional Spanish culture. The paintings and decorations decorated in many places were also attractive, and it stopped my eyes there for a while. It was a short journey, but it left many memories. Thank you.
MMsElledgeSThe hotel and the location is perfect for peaceful and easy access area to go to the Heart of Vigan we stayed 2 nights we did 1 day in ilocos sur travel to ilocos norte the next day and came back to the same hotel.its clean employees have a pleasing personalities restaurant menus is okey food is great.
The only issue i have since i am used to stay on a buffet breakfast hotel this place requires you to choose your breakfast on the small option list.and drinks option are weird so if you choose juice thats all you get you cannot get a coffee even if you offer to pay for it very weird way.but overall the hotel is great! Good for group families and kids friendly
GGordsNice hotel, although having the bar open late to 2am from Friday to Saturday & 4am on Saturday to Sunday meant a constant flow of people either arriving or leaving, some must have been wearing clogs or diving boots, as the noise was unbearable....kept me awake until 5am Sunday morning & our room was at the opposite end of the building from the bar. The bar snacks were good, breakfast on Monday took nearly 45mins to arrive, so coffee was already finished 35mins previously! Not certain if it's true, but there was a photography session ongoing on the ground floor on Monday, the photographer was also the chef, so suggest the chef books his photography sessions once his chef duties are completed...just a suggestion...not sure who does the ratings, but seems to me hotels can claim to be anything they want...this was more 3* than 5* from my experiences
GGuest UserIt was my first trip to Philippines with my husband and wife. By the time I moved by bus from Baguio and arrived at Bigan at 10 pm, the city was quiet and there were few people and I was a little scared, but the guardman at the front desk and entrance 々 welcomed me with a smile. I'm really happy It was good. The building and rooms were simple, clean and relieved. The location faces a calm street, but early in the morning you will hear motorcycle sounds and nearby schools, so if you are sensitive to sound, you may need earplugs. It is a hotel that I want to use when I come to Bigan again.
DDearSunsetHotel Veneto de Vigan is a beautifully restored heritage mansion dating back to around 1740. It was once an ancestral home and is now a charming bed & breakfast right in the heart of UNESCO-listed Vigan, just a short walk from Calle Crisologo. I really appreciated how they preserved the Spanish-era architecture and colonial details—it truly feels like stepping back in time.
That said, while the ambiance is lovely, the facilities could use improvement. The hot water isn’t actually that hot, the water pressure is very weak, and the “high-speed internet” isn’t as advertised. They have dozens of different Wi-Fi names, so you need to reconnect every time you move to another part of the hotel. Although some room upgrades have been made, the amenities still feel a bit dated. Overall, I’d recommend this hotel for its history and location, but expect some compromises in comfort.
EEddieWoWGood location!
Clean and very prompt cleaners.
I asked for a calesa to drive us around town, and they said yes, they have a contact who will come pick us up at the agreed time. And then the time came and the calesa did not show up, they called the calesa driver and he said that he has a customer. So he advised hotel people to tell us to just go get calesa at the park. This (service) would have been 5/5 if they immediately told us that it's the busy season so we don't know if someone can pick you up (and could have advised us to just go pick up a calesa in burgos park where there's a station. Other than that, they were excellent!
AAnonymous UserThe staffs are friendly and easy to talk to. It's perfect if you don't like going out since they have a kitchen and refrigerator provided. However, there is no elevator, so it's better to request a ground-floor room if you have health problems that make it difficult to use the stairs.
