Outstanding
GGuest UserLoved this stay! Gorgeous hotel with a spacious room in the middle of Songkhla Old Town. Super convenient to walk around and explore the area.
GGuest UserI was upgraded to suite room, super large room with big comfy bed and three counters, large fridge and microwave. Two balconies. Two bathrooms. The room wasn't new but that wasn't a problem. I enjoyed my stay. The maid made my room so nicely and left it smell so good. When my closet is broken they sent the repair man right away. The allow a little early check-in and late checkout as I requested. The hotel isn't far from the beach and the old town.
LLung TsangThe hotel is located in walking distance from Songkhla old town/night market, and refurbished out of an ancient if not heritage building. It showcases the beauty of Thai Chinese interior design: every single display item brings back lots of nostalgia from the good old rosy days. The only drawback is the sound insulation as I could hear the convo from my fellow visitors next doors during my stay and also the sounds from outside (cat meows and roosters singing). Luckily i had my ear plugs so still managed to sleep. It seems the rooms on ground floor are nicer than those at second floor.
IIlja G.Room 4B was insufficiently cleaned at check-in, with hair and lint scattered all over the floor. After we complained, the floor was swept. At our request, the room was eventually mopped as well. However, the corners of the room and the area under the desk remained dirty. The kitchen floor was sticky and disgusting.
Only later did we realize that the entire room was affected by mold, as there was no ventilation and no way to open a window for fresh air. Never again!
LLT Familythe room is large, the bed is comfortable, but there is a peculiar smell in the room, but when i enter the room, but i am used to it for a while.there is breakfast, there is a parking lot,not far from the old town.
TTangmoz TangmozI stayed on the second floor of a lovely house. The location is excellent, allowing me to easily walk everywhere. Breakfast was delicious roti with chicken curry. There's a small, chill garden. You have to take off your shoes on the first floor and walk up to the hotel. The floor is wooden, so it can be noisy and there are some small pebbles stuck to your feet.
The room was lovely, beautifully decorated, and the color scheme was nice. The only thing I didn't like was the bathroom. It was quite narrow, and the rain shower was difficult to adjust the heat. Other than that, everything else was great.
KKenThoSurrounded by serenity and recommended for those who enjoy nature. Do not expect the 4-star or 5-star service here but a rather simple wooden cottage with private pool. No toothbrush or shampoo provided, you will need to bring your own. Towels and drinking water are available though. The toilet is outdoor so subject to sharing with other living organisms (esp Lizards, Ants, Bees and Flies). But if you are perfectly fine with these, the room offers a good view and perfect to wind down. The complimentary breakfast is delicious. The staff does not speak English so translation app comes in handy.
GGuest UserI had a pleasant stay at Viva Hotel Songkhla. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly, and the location was convenient. Good value for money, though the Wi-Fi could be faster. Would stay again!
TTanrukI really like the place to stay. Clean, good service, decorated to make you feel like you're coming back to visit a relative's house. The photo angle is very good. I like it a lot.
