Four Points Hotels in Chengdu

I recently stayed one night near Chengdu East Station because I had to catch an early high-speed train, and I chose this Four Points by Sheraton that just opened in March this year. Initially, I just picked it for convenience, but the experience far exceeded my expectations. I’ve stayed in many hotels, so this one really left a great impression. First off, the location and transportation are super convenient. The hotel is on Baiyarihong Xilu in Jinjiang District, about 3 km from Chengdu East Station. A 10-minute taxi ride gets you there, so catching an early train is absolutely stress-free. It’s also about 600 meters from Haitong Street Station on Metro Line 30, making it easy to get to popular spots like Chunxi Road, Taikoo Li, and Kuanzhai Alley. There are shopping malls like Grandbuy City and CapitaLand Plaza nearby, so dining and shopping are just a short walk away. The hardware facilities are very new. Being a new hotel, the overall decor is a minimalist modern style, and the lobby has a cool industrial design. The room comes with a 65-inch LCD TV and both USB and Type-C charging ports, which are very convenient. The floor-to-ceiling windows offer excellent natural light, and the view is very open when you draw the curtains in the morning. The bathroom has a wet/dry separation, and the hot water is stable and plentiful. My sleep quality was fantastic. The bedding was soft and skin-friendly, and the pillows were comfortable; I slept soundly until I woke up naturally. The soundproofing is good; with the windows closed, you barely hear any outside noise. Plus, there wasn't any new renovation smell in the room, which made for a reassuring stay. The service was warm and attentive. Check-in at the front desk was quick and efficient, and they were very helpful with all my questions, patiently giving directions for nearby dining options. Staff members proactively offered assistance to guests with children, showing great attention to detail. Breakfast is served in the 'Play Beer & Food Society' restaurant on the first floor, offering both Chinese and Western options, as well as local Chengdu specialties. While not overly lavish, it was certainly filling. Overall, for a hotel next to a transportation hub, achieving such a balance between convenience and comfort makes it incredibly good value for money. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Chengdu for a layover or business trip.

Traveling with my family, our entire stay was incredibly comfortable and worry-free. This hotel definitely deserves a perfect score! It was easy to find and had plenty of parking, making coming and going a breeze. The staff were all so kind and considerate; they even proactively helped us with our luggage when they saw we had children, which was really thoughtful. The room had excellent natural light and was meticulously cleaned, with no overlooked spots. The bedding was soft and gentle on the skin, ensuring our child slept soundly. The bathroom had anti-slip features, a consistent hot water supply, and a full range of toiletries. The breakfast catered to both adults and children, offering a wide variety of porridges, buns, desserts, and fruits – all delicious and home-style. The housekeeping auntie was friendly and proactively replenished our drinking water and toiletries daily. The hotel overall was quiet and peaceful, not noisy at all, and nearby supermarkets made shopping very convenient. The facilities were well-maintained, with no signs of age or damage, offering great value for money. My family had such a relaxing and enjoyable stay. We'll definitely prioritize this hotel for our next family trip. Highly recommend it to other families! The room itself was decent, but the duvet and pillows had a noticeable smell of sweat. I ended up turning the duvet sideways to use it. Breakfast was also pretty mediocre. The public areas are compact, but they meet the standards for a 4-star rating. Our main purpose for this trip was to take the kids to play, and nearby attractions were just a taxi's minimum fare away, which was convenient. However, it's quite a distance from the subway.

I was very satisfied with my stay. The room was clean and tidy, with good natural light and ventilation, and the bedding was comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, and check-in was quick and efficient. The location is conveniently located with easy access to transportation and all the necessary amenities. The overall environment was quiet and cozy, and the price was great. I would definitely choose this place again for my next trip. Highly recommended!
