Holiday Inn Hotels in Chengdu

This hotel is super convenient, right by the subway station. You can catch direct buses to the Panda Base and Sanxingdui, and the subway takes you straight to Chunxi Road, Tianfu Square, Chengdu Museum, Chengdu East, and Xipu. They have a swimming pool (though it's not huge) and a good breakfast. The staff are friendly and respectful of your space!

Before my arrival, I received a call from Wenli Liu, the Assistant Manager of Guest Relations, who asked about my arrival time and any special requests. She kindly upgraded me to an executive floor room and prepared a fruit platter. Upon arrival, she thoughtfully told me to contact her anytime if I needed assistance. The room was clean and tidy with a great view. The staff on the executive floor were also very polite, and the room was tidied up promptly every day. The hotel's breakfast selection was quite rich and varied. It's an ideal place for business trips.

The hotel was great, with complete facilities, especially the gym. The bedding was very comfortable, especially the pillows. Iris was particularly helpful during our stay, constantly checking on us and asking about our overall experience. She addressed me by my last name throughout check-in and check-out. The hotel is very close to SKP, making it convenient for sightseeing.

I booked this hotel for a layover and the overall service was good. I didn't have breakfast, so I can't comment on that. However, there were a lot of issues with the airport pick-up service, which definitely needs improvement. It's about a 10-minute drive from the airport, but you can't pre-book the drop-off service, it departs every half hour. This is a good place for a layover when going to Lhasa, and there are quite a few restaurants downstairs. It was too late when I arrived to notice them, but I saw them when I left the next day.

The room was spacious and comfortable, and parking was convenient. Susie at the front desk was very enthusiastic and arranged our room in advance. It's also super convenient for visiting the Panda Base and Manhua Manor. However, the hotel has been open for a while, so the room facilities aren't quite as modern as newer hotels.

An exceptionally thoughtful stay – a huge shout-out to duty manager Evan! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This stay truly exceeded my expectations. From the moment I entered, I felt the exceptional care and attention! The lobby was clean and bright, check-in was incredibly fast, and the room was impeccably clean. The bedding was soft and comfortable, the bathroom had a separate shower and toilet, and all the amenities were provided. I had a very comfortable stay. I especially want to commend duty manager Evan. His service was professional and attentive throughout. He patiently answered all my questions about nearby attractions and restaurants, and even thoughtfully recommended fantastic local routes. His attention to detail was truly commendable. When I casually mentioned a small request, Evan immediately helped coordinate and resolve it efficiently. I truly felt valued. The hotel breakfast was also plentiful, offering both Chinese and Western options. The ingredients were fresh and delicious, and the overall value was excellent! From convenience to service, everything was perfect. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in the area and will recommend it to my friends. Thumbs up for Evan's outstanding service!
