Hotel Azul de la Plaza by Chat Noir
"A sweet deal for $25/night in mid July 2026. Great customer service, good location, and some of the staff speak English. The rooms were mostly comfortable even for a tall person. Decent hot water and pressure in the showers (but slow and sometimes clogged drainage), televisions in the rooms that don't work as intended, reliable wifi albeit slow, nice views from the windows, free coffee water and tea, broken/malfunctioning lamps and lights in the rooms. The hotel sits on one end of a public square with just about everything you'd need on a daily basis within walking distance."
Four Points by Sheraton Cuenca
"It is very close to the Cuenca Peak Scenic Area, but it is not convenient to go to the city center. There is no Uber in Cuenca. To take a taxi, you must ask the hotel to call, or you can only go to the mall behind. Generally speaking, it is convenient to eat, it is close to the shopping mall, and there is a Chinese milk tea shop in the shopping mall. However, the hotel facilities are outdated, especially the air conditioner, and the noise is not so loud due to the proximity to the expressway, and there are no other disadvantages."
Casa de las Rosas
"Our stay at La Casa de las Rosas was simply wonderful. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel truly welcome with their kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail. The hotel is spotlessly clean, the rooms are beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable, and every corner of the place feels warm and inviting. You can tell there's a lot of care behind everything they do. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Cuenca. A peaceful, charming experience that we’d love to repeat. Thank you for making our stay so special!"
Oro Verde Cuenca
"The location is very convenient next to the airport, and the WiFi in the room is very convenient. The facilities and equipment are relatively good. It is a very good hotel in Cuenca. I highly recommend it."
Mansion Alcazar
"The overall environment of the hotel is quite good. But the room was very small and very forced, there was no air conditioning, it was cold, and I lived on the second floor 4 times in the morning and evening to try to take a bath, but there was hot water once. The room can be said to have no sound insulation, Wifi is not so easy to use, often stuck and disconnected. Although the decoration looks good, the facilities experience is not very good, just so-so, the overall experience is generally biased."
Hotel Boutique la Ronda by Chat Noir
"HORRIBLE EXPERIENCIA. CINICOS, INFORMALES y DESHONESTOS."
Santa Lucia House - Forum
"Great experience. Very professional staffs and smile on face.."
Hotel Presidente by Nass
"The breakfast coffee was excellent. The view from the room is very nice; however, the breakfast food was all cold: eggs, sausages, ham; also, the receptionist was very sick and wasn't wearing a mask, there were about four staff members and no one helped with luggage or provided any services; they couldn't even provide the necessary or complete information, and to top it all off, the hotel supposedly offers parking, but when we went, they sent us to an external garage where guests have to pay $5 per night."
TRYP by Wyndham Cuenca Zahir
"The environmental sanitation is very good. Although the weather is suitable and no air conditioning is needed, it is still a bit uncomfortable to live in a hotel without air conditioning. As always, there are no slippers in foreign hotels. This time there was no paper in the room. 😵💫"

Hotel Boutique Los Balcones
"Funky unique boutique hotel filled with fabulous art , fixtures. The rooms are clean spacious that are antique with modern amenities. Owner and staff are friendly helpful with decent English skills. Breakfast on the rooftop exceeded expectations. Location is central , four blocks from main square. Full bar. All in all would highly recommend for any length of stay"
Rioné Hotel Boutique
" It is in a residential area of the city, very quiet, safe and with many nearby restaurants. Arriving to the center takes a few minutes. In the very quiet night. Breakfast is varied. The staff is very friendly. The hotel is very comfortable and is very comfortable and comfortable. There is a mini-smoking in and safe in each room. Beds with comfortable couchs and extra frases if you feel cold. In Ecuador's siera hotels is not common to use heating. There is a desk in each room, with enough drinks, ideal if you go for work. The hotel was very comfortable and the hotel was very comfortable and the hotel was very comfortable. Small details to improve: the boxes and their boxes were not closed well, the windows gardens may not cover the street light entrance completely. "
Pepe's House Cuenca I Hotel & Boutique Hostel
"Such a beautiful hotel. Definitely deserves its Boutique naming. I love the decoration, the rooms a spotless and the bathroom is as it should be. Feels very safe too as only guest can enter the premises. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Only 5’ walk to the Plaza Calderon so very well situated."

Santa Lucia Suites - Barranco
Hotel Casa San Rafael
"This hotel has been extremely well preserves and maintained - it still had the sixties and seventies light switches. Everything it offers has the same aim: offer basics of à very good quality for a very fair price. Although there seemed to be a mix-up and we needed to switch to another ( smaller ) room or go to a room without window, the staff is very devoted ( especially the Möring shift receptionist who also helps with the breakfast."
Hotel Santiago de Compostella Suites
"It's a hotel located in a good area, across from Supermaxi, and 10 minutes from the airport. I recommend it; I liked the service. The service in general is good, the rooms are comfortable, the price is very reasonable, and the staff are kind and helpful."
Kuna Hotel
Gaviota Apartments & Suites
Hotel Bristol Cuenca
"Terrible, the worst, they do not respect reservations and they are in a very bad area. AWFUL, THE WORST, never visit it or you will regret it and very bad treatment of the people who visit if you booked with the platform and not with them, you are NOT Guaranteed because they will resell your spot without the slightest shame."
