This was the best hotel I stayed at during my trip to Guangzhou. Both the service and the cleanliness were top-notch. Plus, the location is fantastic – there's a subway station right downstairs on B2, making it super convenient to get anywhere. I'll definitely book this hotel again next time I'm in Guangzhou.

The service was warm and attentive, and the hotel's quality is trustworthy. The lady staff member had a great attitude, tried her best to accommodate our requests, and even gave us complimentary breakfast. Highly recommended! Came to Guangzhou and chose this ECHARM Hotel for a two-night stay. Overall, it was quite comfortable, so I'd like to share my genuine experience. First, the location: It's just a two-minute walk from Ximenkou subway station, making it super convenient to stroll around Beijing Road Pedestrian Street, which is just one subway stop away. There are tons of food options nearby, with腸粉 (rice noodle roll) shops and old-brand restaurants everywhere downstairs. The front desk even enthusiastically recommended a few local favorites, which were indeed excellent. Room experience: I booked a twin room. The curtains and lights are voice-controlled, which was super convenient as I didn't have to get out of bed to turn off the lights. The mattress was just the right firmness, and the comforter was clean and soft. It was very quiet at night, and I slept soundly until morning. The bathroom had good wet/dry separation, and the hot water came on quickly. There's also a self-service laundry room downstairs, so I didn't have to accumulate a pile of dirty clothes to take home after my trip – perfect for people like me who don't like tidying up. Service bonus: My high-speed train was in the afternoon on checkout day. I mentioned it to the front desk, and they readily granted a complimentary late checkout, allowing me to relax in the room until noon before leaving, totally unhurried. I had some leftover dim sum from breakfast that day, and the front desk proactively offered to reheat it and bring it to my room, even adding two extra bottles of water. These small details were very thoughtful. The value for money is excellent; for this location and service in the old city, it's genuinely a great deal. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Guangzhou.

The hotel location is very convenient and close to many attractions and restaurants. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and I would consider staying here again in the future.

Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Helped order food, tickets for activities whilst also having great sightseeing recommendations. Hotel is only a 5 minute walk from the nearest metro and is easily navigable. The breakfast at the hotel was great with lots of variety day to day and my room was always kept clean with working air conditioning. I hope to return soon!

The room size was just right, and it was very clean. Most importantly, all the staff at this hotel were incredibly friendly; they'd greet you whenever they saw you and even offered to refill the complimentary bottled water in the room. They also helped with laundry pickup and delivery. Plus, the location is convenient, and the price is reasonable. Highly recommend!

Location of this hotel is very good. It is very near the Hua Shi metro station. This hotel is near the university so the vibes of the area is very vibrant and lively. There is a lot of food around this area hence you will not go hungry. Staff are helpful and friendly. Helped me to navigate the Didi App. The rooms are very clean and nice. Breakfast is mediocre with not much variety. Do note that there’s only one lift to the hotel and during peak hours you have to wait a little while. Will definitely come back here to stay again.

I highly recommend the E-Shang Hotel on Donghuanan Road. The environment is clean and comfortable, the service is attentive and thoughtful, and the overall experience was very satisfying – five stars! Booked this hotel for the TXT concert. They offer a shuttle service to and from Guangzhou South Station, which was super convenient for getting to the venue. They also provided different complimentary fruits each day upon check-in. Any issues I had were quickly addressed by the front desk when I called. Thanks to ECHAM, my trip was very enjoyable!
