"This guesthouse is located in Huiji West Alley in Yuexiu District. It's super convenient with lots of amenities nearby and great transport links. The alley itself is buzzing with cafes and plenty of tourists stopping by for photos.
The guesthouse is beautifully decorated and the rooms are spotless. It's lively during the day but wonderfully quiet at night.
The owner provided excellent service, even giving me a lovely pocket watch as a parting gift when I checked out."

MM54298****From the moment I stepped into the hotel, I was infected by the enthusiasm of the boss! The room is clean and tidy, the layout is very exquisite, every detail can see the owner's intentions. And the service is also very thoughtful, this time I brought the children in the past, the proprietress was very intimate to send desserts, bathrobes and toiletries, moisturizers for the children! This seemingly insignificant detail, but it reveals a deep insight and care for the needs of the guests! Make people feel at home! During the whole stay, whether it is the reception or the room service, it makes me feel the persistent pursuit of service quality of the hotel staff! The environment is quiet, away from the hustle and bustle of the city! It is a good place to relax...highly recommended!

MM RoserLeisurely afternoon tea: Arrived at the hotel at 3 PM and was greeted with a thoughtful afternoon tea service.
Facilities: The current facilities are quite extensive. I hope the resort continues to expand, offering more areas to explore. There are also activities like sutra copying and face painting to participate in.
Cleanliness: Absolutely top-notch, you can rest assured. Even the baths are very clean.
Environment: A wonderfully natural ecological space. I enjoyed sitting on the sofa with a ceiling fan, listening to the chirping insects and just zoning out. If I hadn't been pressed for time, I would have loved to stay a few more nights.
Service: The service was incredibly attentive. Around 11 PM, I had a craving for sunflower seeds. I asked the butler, and they mentioned a colleague could bring me a few packets of their own snacks to satisfy my craving. Perfect!

GGuest UserDecided to book the Gala Hot Spring Hotel last minute for a spontaneous trip, and luckily the weather was great. The hotel faces a mountain, and as soon as you step into the lobby, you're greeted by a huge mountain view – absolutely delightful, especially since it's the perfect time for a spring outing with lush greenery everywhere. Check-in wasn't too bad; we waited a short while before it was our turn. Xiao Wu (Wu Ximing) at the front desk noticed our group was mostly seniors and children, so he kindly upgraded our room to a more spacious one! We also exchanged WeChat details with him, making it convenient to provide feedback or ask any hotel-related questions whenever needed. It was a wonderful family trip experience!

DDaxiongmao8922This trip was incredibly peaceful and restorative. The stay was exceptionally comfortable, and the service was attentive and thoughtful. Many of the feelings are truly indescribable and can only be experienced firsthand. Overall, the experience was perfect. It's rare to find a place where there are more staff than guests; at a certain age, one appreciates places with fewer people, as the price point naturally filters the clientele. The emotional value was through the roof. I won't even discuss value for money, but solely based on quality and price, I believe it was incredibly worthwhile. The breakfast and afternoon tea were particular highlights—among the few hotels I've stayed at in China where both the presentation and taste were equally outstanding.

QQuanjingjingI happened to visit during International Women's Day. On March 7th, I even received a carnation from the hotel staff for Girls' Day. However, there didn't seem to be any activities on Women's Day itself, which was a bit disappointing. We usually prefer to book rooms in the main building here because it's been renovated and the room facilities are newer.
This time, when we went to the pet feeding area, it felt like they weren't ready for guests; maybe the timing was off. There were no staff members, and we didn't know what to feed the animals with. We could only look and then leave, which diminished the fun.
However, the customer service here is still good. Although sometimes the response time was quite slow, there was always a follow-up.

EE1397****Had a wonderful New Year's holiday!
Highlight 1: The private hot spring was incredibly relaxing and comfortable, especially with the outdoor temperature at 3-4 degrees Celsius. Soaking in it was pure bliss! The staff helped fill the tub quickly, and the water temperature was perfect.
Highlight 2: We enjoyed the New Year's fireworks for two consecutive nights. Their reflection on the water created a truly rare and beautiful scene, making for a strong festive atmosphere.
Highlight 3: The room's bed was wide, making it convenient for a family. As there were only two of us, it felt extra spacious and comfortable.
Highlight 4: The owners, a couple, were amazing! The proprietress at the front desk was always helpful and accommodating with every request. Having access to freezing and refrigeration for food was very convenient. The owner is an experienced fishing enthusiast; he recommended great fishing spots nearby and provided detailed and thoughtful information about local dining, entertainment, and activities.
Highlight 5: The large courtyard with various small animals is perfect for children. There were also plenty of entertainment options for adults, including billiards and ping-pong. Every morning, as soon as the door opened, the Corgi, Shuai Shuai, would be waiting enthusiastically and cheerfully at the entrance – a really heartwarming feeling.
Overall, it was a fantastic holiday, and we will definitely visit again.

AAmideeThis is a lovely place to go for a night or two to just relax. Also a pet friendly place, so that makes is ideal for me! The front desk are really helpful and you can add them onto your wechat to contact them directly anytime. They provide all essentials to be comfortable. I did ask if I could have a kettle for inside my tent, for coffee, which they were able to provide for me. Dinner options, you can choose chicken hot pot or the crawfish hot pot at their reception, which you can do yourself by your tent, or tell them you’d like to cook it in their dining area. Otherwise you can also barbecue your own things at your camp sight. It’s suggested to take your own food to bbq there, as their choices are limited. They did provide me with some sweet potato when I asked, and the chicken hot pot was really tasty and filling! The tent was clean, comfortable and has AC. We stayed in the smallest tents they provide, and it was perfect for what we needed. They have a swimming pool facility that is open from 4:30-6:30pm only. It would be nice if was available in the morning as well!! There’s not a lot to do in the surrounding area of the resort. You can do fishing, go for walks through the forest along the stream. I suggest to take some activity things to do like badminton or other board games etc. There are great play areas for kids, and fun slides are incorporated into the designs of some of the rooms. There are plenty different types of tent facilities and some have some really nice privacy looking onto the stream and have some outdoor hot spring tubs (plunge pool). The small tent porches don’t have privacy, but they are adequate for a short stay in nature. Getting there is easy by didi or hired car, getting back you just need to make your search on the app more wide because the location is a bit isolated from busy areas, but otherwise that’s also not a problem.

GGuest UserOverall, the hotel service quality was excellent, with staff generally being warm, friendly, and attentive. Room service was prompt and responsive to guests' needs. The facilities were also comprehensive; rooms came with private hot tubs, and there was a wide variety of onsen pools, including grotto pools and a mountaintop hot spring area. The buffet dinner deserves a special mention – the food was well-prepared and offered a rich selection. The hot springs are definitely one of the hotel's highlights; the water was clear, smooth, and pleasant. Beyond the diverse range of hot spring pools, the hotel also offered unique onsen experiences like herbal baths and fish therapy. All in all, it was a fantastic vacation experience.

GGuest UserThe room is spacious and clean, and the balcony offers a great view of the river! However, the staff at check-in were quite unfriendly. The parking attendant's attitude was also just so-so. The hotel facilities are good, but the service attitude made me uncomfortable! On the bright side, the cleaning staff were always smiling, offered good service, and even helped press the elevator buttons. It really depends on who you encounter.

LLarrilarioMy room was a luxurious suite with private bath tub (around hkd 3000 for two nights including breakfast). Hardware is definitely exceptional. However when it comes to service it is below standard:
1) front desk - service was poor without any greetings such as bell boy. Front desk officers were unhappy without any eye contact when they talk to you. No hospitality at all;
2) breakfast - the quality both food and service were not up to a 4 or 5 star service. Table was not clean, staffs were almost unfriendly, except one female manager and one staff, all staffs were rushing their task and unwelcoming. I believe the hotel management need to motivate their staff ,otherwise, people won’t come again.
3) Amnenties - room is a luxurious suite with private bath tub, massage chair, kitchen , dining table and queen bed. The tub was not very clean, with water splitting . Such a waste as their service was not meeting the standard of what it is expected to be a 5- star resort. (The environment, garden were nicely decorated indeed) The Hot Spring pool is well known but I have’s try so cannot comment.
I won’t come to this resort again, if the service of the hotel haven’t improved. And I won’t recommend travelers with kids who is looking for a family friendly and good service resort.
