I'd previously stayed at the Jiahua Hotel in Jin Hai Wan, but this was my first time at the Baishui Village location. We went during the Qingming Festival, and even though it rained, the mountain views with the mist were absolutely beautiful. The hotel's overall decor is lovely, and the hot springs are of high quality, with the water being changed and cleaned daily. A tip for breakfast: go early, ideally before 8 AM, otherwise it gets very crowded. My family booked a family room and a mountain view room. We were assisted by Xiao Wu (Wu Mingxi), who was incredibly patient and responsible. Not only did he process our check-in quickly, but he also upgraded one of our rooms (to be closer to the family room). He also provided detailed and patient answers to all our questions about luggage assistance, pet travel, and restaurant information. And the best part is that we brought our dog! Jiahua allows pets in all room types for just a small cleaning fee – that's a huge plus in my book! We'll definitely be back when the kids are a bit older!

Guest UserI've stayed at Sanying many times; it's a well-established hot spring hotel. The buffet dinner offers great value for money and is definitely worth it! Breakfast also has a wide variety, meeting five-star hotel standards! After a hike, soaking in the hot springs with the family is always a joy. The surrounding amenities are also getting better and better. I'll definitely be back!

pannychanOverall, I'm very satisfied!
Facilities: We booked a family room on the basement level. The room was spacious and clean, though there was a slightly musty smell when we first entered due to several days of continuous rain. After opening the air conditioning and sliding door for about two hours, the smell was mostly gone. The room also came with a small pool for bathing, which the kids absolutely loved.
The outdoor playground, water park, and hot spring areas are all massive, with so many activities to do! Two days simply aren't enough to experience everything. Next time, we'll definitely need a three-day, two-night stay to truly enjoy it! 😁

Guest UserThe hotel was excellent, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. Our queen room was very spacious, and the bedding was changed daily, which made everything feel fresh and comfortable. Whenever we needed assistance, the staff were always quick to help and extremely accommodating.
They were especially helpful when we needed directions or transportation, always making sure taxis were arranged for us and that we knew exactly where we were going. The level of service was truly outstanding, and I honestly cannot recommend this hotel enough. I can’t wait to come back again.
A special thank you to Mai and May, who kindly helped my mum and me order takeaway when we couldn’t understand the Chinese app. Your hospitality meant so much to us. Thank you as well to the bellman who helped carry our shopping upstairs and to the gentleman who kindly opened our taxi door — every member of the team was so lovely and attentive.
My mum and I were visiting during a stressful trip while buying things for my wedding, but your kindness and support made the experience much easier and far more enjoyable.
Thank you all so much — we are truly grateful. God bless you.

Guest UserJust checked out, and overall, my experience was pretty good. The hotel's location is super convenient, right next to a subway entrance, making it quick to get to attractions and shopping areas. What impressed me the most was the soundproofing; once the room window was closed, the street noise outside was practically inaudible, leading to a really peaceful night's sleep. I also have to commend the audio-visual room – the projector had excellent clarity, and it was fantastic to connect my phone and binge-watch shows. I didn't want to leave the comfy sofa all evening! The staff were also quite friendly; they even offered me a hot tea proactively during check-in. All in all, I had a very comfortable stay and would definitely consider coming back next time.

Guest UserThe hotel's location is super easy to find, and it's centrally located to all the parks. The shuttle bus from the back entrance is incredibly convenient. The hotel itself is themed after the panda triplets' cartoon, with a brand-new family resort style. The castle exterior got the kids super excited, and walking into the lobby felt like stepping into a fairy tale. There are small shops all around, making shopping very convenient. Our 'Shuai Shuai' themed room was clean and tidy, and we felt really comfortable staying there. The baby toiletries provided were a thoughtful touch – full marks for attentiveness! The mattress was just right, not too soft or too hard, so after a day of fun, we just melted into bed. The staff were incredibly patient and professional, providing excellent and thorough service. Their response time was super quick, clearly indicating they are well-trained. Our room had a small balcony perfect for washing and drying clothes. Our two-day, one-night trip was perfect! We had a blast at Animal World and Happy Birds. Traveling with kids wasn't tiring at all. Animal World has an incredible variety of animals, and both adults and kids had a wonderful time. We enjoyed the cable cars and mini-trains, and the panda float parade. Happy World's rides were a hit with everyone, big and small. The Bird Park boasts a diverse collection of birds; feeding the flamingos and experiencing the 'Hundred Birds' encounter was fantastic. The bird show was absolutely outstanding, and we had an excellent experience. The grand circus was top-notch, with stunning lighting, stage effects, and incredible attention to detail. The performance was both entertaining and spectacular. The Panda Hotel's location is prime, directly opposite Happy World and the Grand Circus, just a five-minute walk through a connecting corridor. A shuttle bus to Animal World departs every fifteen minutes from the second floor. The two-day, one-night package was a great deal, offering unlimited access to three parks with face recognition entry. Plus, we got first-class seats for the circus via a special lane on a weekday, which meant fewer crowds and a better experience. We even got discounts with the express wristband, making it incredibly cost-effective. The rare animal exhibition area on the first floor is a godsend for anyone who wants to take photos with animals without much effort – just a short walk downstairs! We saw parrots, peacocks, ring-tailed lemurs, sloths, and adorable flamingos. The 'Goodnight Story Time' was superb, combining science education with bedtime stories, a perfect way for busy parents to relax. It's truly the top choice for a family vacation with kids. Hotel service ambassador Liang Jingjing provided meticulous, thorough, and attentive service. Her personal style was warm and down-to-earth, and her attitude was gentle and sincere.

My parents were happy with it, and that's all that matters. We specifically booked it for the private hot spring, and I was pleasantly surprised to find the room was quite spacious, which was a plus. My only minor quibble is that there aren't many public baths, and it would be great if there were more entertainment options.

BeifengchuiguodehongyeChimelong Safari Park in Guangzhou definitely lives up to its reputation; it's truly the ultimate place for families with kids. The park is huge, with tons of animals. We managed to see the panda triplets, a large group of koalas, and all the white tigers. You absolutely *must* try the two signature attractions: the free mini-train ride through the open-range area, where giraffes and zebras walk right beside you, creating an immersive experience as if you're on the African savanna; and the transparent-bottomed cable cars, offering a unique aerial view of the entire park from above.
The white tiger diving show was fantastic; my child watched it with wide-eyed fascination. At Giraffe Plaza, we could feed the giraffes and interact with them, which made my child incredibly happy. The park paths are gentle, there are plenty of rest spots, and the parent-child facilities are complete, so you can easily take a break when you get tired. We also learned a lot of interesting facts about animals as we explored. My child was excited the entire day, making this trip truly worthwhile. I highly recommend bringing children here!

Guest UserLocation: it's right in the middle of Tianhe, next to the amazing Grandview Mall, and its attractions such as the aquarium, rainforest, science and natural history museums, snow world, and a huge amount of shopping and eating. You could literally spend several days in here, which would be a great place to escape the summer heat.
Next door is more upmarket Parc Central and Tee Mall, and over the road is Fashion Tianhe, where the local young people hang out.
The hotel itself is in the same building as the Marriott hotel; Marriott hotel occupies the lower 22 floors, whilst this apartment hotel occupies the upper 16 floors. It's also a mixed use building, so as well as self contained apartments, there are plenty of small businesses, such as hairdressers, nail salons, massage, optician, and music studio in the apartments next door too. You need to take two different lifts to get to your apartment - annoying, but not a deal-breaker.
There's also nothing close by that is open before 10am, except for the Starbucks downstairs.
Apartment: a fairly standard apartment, with bedrooms and a lounge with small dining area. Kitchenette had a microwave, induction hob, washing machine and dishwasher. There were, however, no pots or pans, no plates or bowls, and a grand total of 3 tiny tea cups and 2 spoons and 2 forks. There were also two chairs for our 2 bedroom apartment's dining table. A slightly better equipped self contained apartment would have made the stay better.
The rest of the apartment is fairly bare too. A small sofa, sideboard, and coffee table, and a TV that didn't work well. The downstairs bedroom is pretty small but fit a double bed with no space to walk around, whilst the upstairs one had more space.
Cleanliness: there place itself was pretty clean. Although the peeling wallpaper and water damage stains made it look less so.
Value: it's about 1/3 of the cost of the Marriott downstairs, and you get a whole apartment rather than a room. This makes it much better value than the hotel. Whether you want this basic apartment, or a nice hotel, is a personal choice dependant on your budget.
Overall: a basic apartment in a very nice central location. Amenities are very sparse, but overall it's good value.

WocaishirightEven the cutlery is carefully selected, and the presentation of the dishes is exquisite, making every meal a delightful ritual. Contrary to some reviews, there are no signs of wear and tear; the furniture and amenities are incredibly well-maintained. The front desk staff are professional, warm, and thoughtful, always anticipating guest needs and responding promptly and considerately. The location couldn't be better – there are plenty of dining, drinking, and shopping options right downstairs, and even a hair salon is just a stone's throw away.
