Unfortunately, the air conditioning in the room was broken, and they put a portable unit with a hose in the room, which only helped to a limited extent. On top of that, I had ants in my room that got into my food. It's a shame there wasn't a fridge in the room, which would have helped with that problem. Nevertheless, the hotel is otherwise great, and I would stay there again.

Great stay in a period house close to, but away from the main town. A separate studio (a well converted outbuilding/garage) on the ground floor, perfect size and facilities. Hosts both charming, friendly and super helpful, showing us around and recommending a great restaurant for Dinner. Really quiet location with lovely homemade breakfast, no faults at all. Probably you have a car if you would like to stay here. It’s a house in a typical Netherlands town. I would prefer a bit higher temperature in the room, cause the cover a bit thin, when it’s cold at night. Plus, bedroom is on upstairs of the room. A shared mini kitchen with a microwave n tablewares. Just heard the next door guest coughing in the morning, which woke us up earlier.

Ibis budget in Amiens is a decent budget hotel, nice clean rooms, good beds, good bathroom. Its located within walking distance from the city center and everything worth visiting. The staff is very friendly and helpful. well worth its money! The trainstation and bus station is just around the corner. In the trainstation you can rent a bicycle for €5 a day.

Very basic but for the budget price is perfect for a late night stop over on the way to Disneyland. Couldn’t check in using the computer system but luckily someone was there to check us in at the desk instead. No tea or coffee making facilities in the room but was clean and comfortable for a quick stay

Loved our stay and the quality of service. The restaurant is very good with several options. We loved the chef's recommendation. And the breakfast is quite good with several options.

Well located hotel, easy to park the car at the public parking area. The rooms are small but ok, the bed is comfortable. The staff is very kind.

I stayed in Hotel Normadie during my Gothic Architecture Interrail trip. Amiens was on my list of visits. As I am a budget traveller I thought this would be a suitable room for one night to explore Amiens. The hotel was easy to find and takes about five mins to walk from the station even with luggage. I arrived before their recommended check in time and I was greeted by a nice receptionist who could book me in straight away. So I got to check in early and this was great because I could leave my bags and go exploring. The room was on the third floor and I struggled to get my bag up the narrow twisty stairs. The breakfast room looked really nice with stained glass windows. But I did not book breakfast as it was too expensive and not inclusive on my hotel booking. When I arrived at my room it was clean. There was a single bed and shutters on the window. This was good. The shower and toilet room were Ok. The toilet did not have a door. I was in a better room than I booked because I was supposed to have a shared toilet so I must have had a small upgrade so I was grateful. There was a table and chair. Nd somewhere to hav clothes. The room Was a bit stark, basic and uninteresting. It was rather like a dormitory than a hotel really. But as it was budget I was Ok. It got noisy on my floor as there were men staying that had disgusting noisy habits. I could also smell smoke twice during my evening so I had to block the door with my coat to stop the smell coming in. I asked for a non smoking room so I was dissappinted that patrons smoked I’m sure it was against the hotel policy. There was no water in my room to drink, no kettle and no cleaning products. But there was one small sachet of shampoo. The shower was ok, basic and flooded the floor. I had to clean it up. The tiles were dirty. I had no view from the window but it did open to let fresh air in the room. In the morning I was covered with insect bites, I would hate to think they were bed bugs. I’m hoping they were mosquito bites. As I wasn’t staying for an expensive breakfast I packed up pretty sharpish and left early. I would not recommend a solo female traveller stay here in budget rooms. I’m a pretty savvy traveller and something just wasn’t right about my stay. It wasn’t actually budget compared to a hostel. But that was booked already. Amiens is a beautiful city and I had a really culturally stimulating day walking around the sights. But I won’t be returning or recommending Hotel Notmandie.

The hotel has a very good location, close to the railway and bus station and to the Amiens Cathedral. The staff was very good and friendly, the breakfast was good. The room was comfortable Unfortunately, the internet was working very bad.
