"Excellent hospitality and helpful staff. The food exceeded expectations, both breakfast and dinner were excellent value for money, with plenty of fresh vegetables. It was no problem to open the restaurant half an hour earlier and arrange a room with late checkout. The amenities of this relatively new hotel are excellent compared to newer and much more expensive hotels. A spacious bathroom with plenty of towels and a separate toilet with a locked door. No noise pollution. A great swimming pool with umbrellas and seating. Excellent espresso and coffee facilities. In short, surprisingly good for a hotel located a bit outside Amiens."

"Great cottage to recharge your batteries and relax. Very good bedding, tastefully decorated establishment. The breakfast is generous and good with fresh, homemade products! The owners are adorable, passionate about their profession, they know how to showcase their establishment and their region. We had access to the relaxation area for 1.5 hours with Champagne jacuzzi and spa. Wellness area highlighted, the exterior as well as the interior are well maintained. You can dine on site where there is a menu of Vrai & Bon jars. The beach is a 10-minute walk away, magnificent view of Cayeux and the cliffs of Ault. Small food truck at 2 pats which helps out well when you have no restaurants open."

"The hotel I was staying in was yet another ( Valhalla) that I wouldn’t let a dead dog stay in, so yet again I did a runner and stumbled across this place. 5 star in everything, location perfect for enroute to or from the channel posts. Three very efficient young men on reception who showed me to my room in the meaty stables. Every thing about this place is quality. Couple of negative comments about lack of restaurant but what is on offer is more than adequate. My last night in French was true perfection."

"Great for solo traveler or couples . People at the desk are welcoming and nice. No fridge , but I enjoyed the AC and was able to get a flat iron at the desk. Lovely place o recommend it !! Price is affordable too."

"Everything was fine, but you need a car (10-15 minutes to the city center). The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was spacious, as we were given a room for disabled guests. Parking was convenient. The Wi-Fi either didn't reach the room or was very weak."

Hôtel Mercure Abbeville Centre - Porte de la Baie de Somme

"Facilities: Okay. Maybe it's because of our room type, but the bathroom was huge, almost big enough to be a room. Cleanliness: Quite clean. Environment: Located in the town center, about 1.5 kilometers from the train station, but dragging luggage along the cobblestone streets was quite difficult. Service: Not particularly enthusiastic, just average. The room did not provide water or slippers."
