"Beware of the monkeys that accosted us at the reception and snatched our fruits The hotel was so kind that we got reimbursed for their cost but the monkeys are too aggressive for guest safety, especially if you have children We were never advised at check so unaware but somebody should take action before the monkeys take over the whole town maybe in the future and tourism will pay the price"

"After a lovely warm friendly welcome from manager Johnathan. We found Samanea wonderful resort to unwind in after a week of travelling around Cambodia. The rooms are amazing, clean, spacious and have a feeling of luxury. The outside bathroom is a wonderful experience. The food at the restaurant was really good and at a reasonable price. We had breakfast every day and an evening meal a few times. Lots of choice available.The gardens and the pool area are really beautiful and well kept. The location is great for a short tuk tuk ride to Kep Crab market, restaurants and beach. A little further to Kampot but well worth a visit. What makes this resort extra special is Jonathan and his team. The whole team go above and beyond to help make your stay really memorable. Special thanks to Khy Pet who looked after us so well at breakfast each morning. We highly recommend this resort."

"Valuable hotel with wonderful pool, great enough to swim. The location is a bit far but this is not specific to the hotel. Kep city is fragmentated and the city centre is not really si far. The staff us very nice, rooms are big and modern. I would suggest to add light above the sink in the bathroom and above the desk in the bedroom."
