This place is located in a great location. There are malls just opposite which is great if you do not have plans and just want to hang around. Downstairs, there are various local food places which served good food. The hotel itself is located in k9 apartments, right next to Novotel Hotel. The reception messaged us on Trip.com on the day of our arrival to provide us with information on how to reach the hotel & the address to set in our Didi. As this was our last hotel before returning home, I honestly had alot of Taobao kuai di which the receptionist picked up for me patiently throughout all 3 days of our stay. I could not be more grateful esp when 1 of my package was sent to a place about 1.5km away from the hotel. They would wechat us on a daily basis to confirm if we needed housekeeping or if we needed any amenities. Within the room, there was a play room which my kids absolutely loved. They saw it as their private space and played inside on their own when the adults would busy. There was a washer / dryer located within the room which was so helpful. & a working fridge. We were provided with disposable coverings for the toilet bowl & bathtub and also toothbrush (including children’s toothbrush & bedroom slippers). The staircase to the loft was also safe with handrails and big enough steps to not fall / miss a step. Overall, I would definitely choose this place again if I visited Kunmin again.

She proactively helped coordinate a room upgrade, and upon learning about my travel needs, she offered an additional breakfast and executive lounge access. She arranged a smoke-free, high-floor room overlooking Dianchi Lake for a better view, and her meticulous arrangements truly eased my travel fatigue. Heidi's demeanor was gentle and graceful, and she handled matters with patience and professionalism. Every request was addressed thoroughly; her professionalism and sincerity shone through in every small detail. As a Sofitel in Kunming, the hotel perfectly blends French elegance with local Yunnan charm. The lobby features Yunnan-specific floral art and ethnic soft furnishings, creating a unique romantic and luxurious design. The guest rooms offer a comfortable and relaxing stay, with floor-to-ceiling windows directly facing the lake and mountains of Dianchi. The executive lounge boasts excellent views, and the snacks and drinks are exquisite and high-quality. Breakfast combines French pastries with authentic Yunnan rice noodles and flower cakes, offering a wide variety and delicious flavors. Both the hardware and service are truly worth savoring. Walking around the hotel, one can glimpse the brand's unique French romance everywhere, complemented by the spiritual lake views unique to the 'Spring City.' Both the facilities and services exude style and warmth. Whether gazing at the misty Dianchi Lake from the window or enjoying a drink in the executive lounge, you can feel Sofitel's exclusive aesthetic of sophisticated travel. Heidi's meticulous and thoughtful service perfectly balanced the rush of travel, adding a human touch to a luxurious stay. The entire stay was leisurely and pleasant, precisely because of Heidi's attentive and personalized care, which made this stay full of surprises and warmth. When I return to this area in the future, this hotel will still be my first choice, and I once again express my gratitude to the gentle and dedicated Heidi.

The surrounding amenities are incredibly complete, offering everything you could want for dining, entertainment, and shopping, making it very convenient for getting around. The room size is just right, with a well-organized layout and new facilities that are easy to use. The bed is neither too soft nor too firm, ensuring a relaxing rest. The cleaning staff does a thorough job, and the service is attentive and thoughtful. Highly recommended!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The service was exceptional and the staff was very accommodating, helpful and friendly. They went out of their way to help us in many ways. We had a very late flight that evening on a rainy day so they allowed us to extend our stay until 6pm at a very reasonable rate which was much appreciated.They also offered my husband a free breakfast and offered help with getting bikes. The breakfast buffet was tasty and extensive with a good variety. The hotel is modern and new and the room itself was very spacious, had an excellent shower and big tub. The bed was very comfortable and upon arrival there was a fruit plate, tea and 4 water bottles. It is very well located next to a bike path and Dianchi lake. The entrance to the park is just minutes away and we spent several enjoyable hours strolling through the park. We really enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend it!

While the hotel room facilities are a bit dated, with old carpets and a slightly cramped bathroom with only one sink, the strong water pressure made for a comfortable shower. The air conditioning was just okay, and the soundproofing was decent. As an older five-star hotel, Wanda Vista truly shines in its service. Front desk manager Mr./Ms. Yang was kind and friendly, helping us arrange an extended stay and providing excellent advice and assistance with our Yunnan travel plans. The front desk is often a guest's first impression, and we're very grateful to Mr./Ms. Yang for starting our stay off so well. The restaurant's breakfast offered a good variety, and the taste was acceptable. The breakfast staff were incredibly sincere and service-oriented in their greetings and assistance. I even noticed one or two pregnant staff members in the breakfast area who were still meticulously and efficiently going about their work. The executive lounge didn't have a huge selection of dishes, but everything was fresh and replenished promptly. The housekeeping staff were also very friendly, and the room was kept clean. The hotel's location is super convenient. Overall, it's definitely worth another stay.

Hotel Experience Sharing This hotel boasts an extremely convenient location, just a ten-to-fifteen-minute drive from several famous city attractions, making it incredibly handy for both sightseeing and business trips. The hotel facilities are comprehensive, the rooms are clean and tidy, and the beds are comfortable, providing an excellent environment for rest. The service attitude is friendly, and the staff are responsive, able to promptly address guests' various needs. Overall, it's a highly cost-effective accommodation choice.

The front desk service is warm and thoughtful, smiles, questions and answers, the experience is very good, and the work efficiency is high, very satisfied, the service is meticulous, there is a need in time, it is recommended, and the rooms are clean and tidy, the lighting is good, and the living is very comfortable. The room hygiene is also in place, the facilities are complete and not warm, the environment is still quiet, the sound insulation effect is also good, and the rest has not been disturbed. And the location of the hotel is very good, the traffic is particularly convenient, next to the subway station. The hotel is equipped with self-service washing machines, drying equipment, and coffee machines, very good, very intimate to solve the problem of travel. Excellent! It has everything you need. Downstairs is a food street, which is super convenient and fun. The environment is quiet and the scenery is beautiful, especially the night view. The hygiene is also good; the trash is always tidied up. It's definitely worth it.

The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, ample hot water, and comprehensive amenities. The hotel's facilities are well-maintained, public areas are clean and tidy, and the location is superb, making it convenient for dining and shopping. The service throughout was gentle and polite, with attention to every detail. It offers incredible value for money and is my top choice for accommodation. I've already recommended it to friends, and I'll definitely stay here again next time!
