"The surrounding amenities are great, but it's very crowded. The shuttle service was terrible; the driver left without waiting for us, and didn't stop even when we chased after it. It was very sunny and hot, so I wouldn't recommend it if you're traveling with kids, unless you pay for their private car service. This felt like a hidden cost. We paid over 2000 for two rooms that day, which isn't cheap at all. The shuttle service from the hotel to the Ocean Park was very bad. The bus was packed, and my child even went missing, which led to us calling the police. This shuttle service has serious safety issues. For breakfast, there were too many people and not enough tables, so we had to wait a long time. We had to find seats ourselves with our child. There weren't enough staff, and the staggered timing for meals didn't work well. In short, it was a terrible and expensive trip. The staff themselves were very kind and helpful, but every single aspect of the experience made me feel like I was about to explode. I don't know why. It was completely different from our stay at Hilton last year. The room cleanliness wasn't great, probably because it was peak season and they didn't have time to clean thoroughly!"

"The location is pretty good, and there's plenty to eat and do on Island One. The beach is just a short walk away, and ordering takeout is super convenient. However, for a five-star hotel, there's no doorman at the entrance. When I asked a staff member to bring water, I said ”thank you” and ”excuse me” multiple times, but the staff member just kept making ”uh uh uh...” sounds, looking completely listless, and didn't say a single word to me in the end. The bottom of the pool was also a bit dirty."

"Staying in Danzhou again, I chose this hotel, and the service was excellent. Xiao Mei at the front desk was very attentive and responsible during check-in. Seeing that we had a child, she specifically reminded us to sign up for membership so the child could enjoy free breakfast. The room was spacious, but there was a slight odor that improved significantly after turning on the air conditioning. Overall, it's still worth staying here."

"With the mentality of ”trying to sleep” to escape the city, I chose the raft flower. The hotel is located on the coast of Shenchong Village. There is no complicated commercial atmosphere around. The quiet trails, reefs after low tide, small crabs on the stone side, and the sunset in the evening all give the hotel a unique charm, for the surrounding environment. During the stay, hotel guests have exclusive dining and leisure space, free from outside interference, the butler's service is meticulous and intimate, and it is thoughtful everywhere. From the traffic guidelines - check-in arrangements - afternoon tea - play items - dining arrangements, we feel full of sincerity, for intimate service. The quality of the facilities and equipment inside the room is online, the design is exquisite and not public at the same time, and the comfortable experience is taken into account. It is like a private small yard that has been carefully managed. The check-in process is very comfortable, for hotel facilities. Enjoyed a moment of peace, thank you for the wood blossoms."

"We went in mid June, rainy season so it was low season. For the price that we paid for the 2 bedroom villa, which included breakfast (at another hotel) entry to ocean park, The Five Country Hot Spring City, and personal shuttle bus service within the island. I think it was well worth it. Service was prompt and courteous, although communication was all through WeChat and in Chinese. Convenient but knowing sone Chinese would be better to utilize services . We stayed in the Japanese style villa, and it was tastefully decorated, spacious and comfortable. We especially loved having our own dry and steam sauna, and our own personal outdoor hot spring bath! Real hot spring mineral water! I recommend this place especially for people who love hot spring baths and want to avoid busy touristy hotels. Cleanliness: overall quite clean. Location: walking distance to ocean park and hot spring city, so quite convenient. 5-10 minutes shuttle ride to most places within the island. Service: knowing someone is available 24 hours was nice. They were eager to help with whatever we needed. The main concierge during the day was more friendly, competent and experienced. Amenities: everything we needed was provided. There was a Dyson hair dryer, fridge etc. If you are picky about your shampoo soaps etc, you may want to bring your own. But they do provide them."

"Self-driving, the security service was very enthusiastic when I parked at the hotel gate. They greeted me with a smile, opened the car door and helped me with my luggage. The parking lot is very close to the hotel lobby and parking is very convenient. The hotel lobby is quite grand and low-key luxury. The check-in procedure was quick and convenient, and the service was thoughtful. The room was also very large, and a family of three stayed there without feeling crowded. The scenery outside the glass window was beautiful, and you could see the swimming pool downstairs, the garden in the garden, the Lianhua Oilfield, the Beibu Gulf, the Yangpu Bridge and other scenery. The most surprising thing was the beautiful night view of the Lianhua Oilfield. When checking in, I also experienced the hotel's free gym, swimming pool and other places, which were clean, especially the swimming pool water quality was very good, and the free buffet breakfast was diverse and delicious. I was very satisfied with the overall stay. I like the services of Yangpu Guest House [strong][strong][strong]. I will choose Yangpu Guest House again when I come to Yangpu next time.
