It was advertised as a sea view room, but the view of the sea wasn't great. The price is way too high and doesn't offer good value for money. With over 5,000 rooms, if they continue to operate at these prices, it will alienate the average person and the place will lack any real buzz. Those who've stayed once won't return or recommend it; it's a one-time deal. If they don't adjust to more affordable prices, they're not far from losing money and going out of business."

"The location is pretty good, and there's plenty to eat and do on Island One. The beach is just a short walk away, and ordering takeout is super convenient. However, for a five-star hotel, there's no doorman at the entrance. When I asked a staff member to bring water, I said "thank you" and "excuse me" multiple times, but the staff member just kept making "uh uh uh..." sounds, looking completely listless, and didn't say a single word to me in the end. The bottom of the pool was also a bit dirty."

The staff member was very enthusiastic and helpful though. The facilities are quite old, and I didn't appreciate guests smoking in the hotel lobby. On the night I checked in, I found a dying cockroach when I was getting my luggage, and I had to deal with it by hand."

"While traveling around the island, I saw a Hilton Garden Inn in Danzhou and checked in. The hotel lobby is very grand. The hotel staff told us that the tiles in the lobby have a coconut breeze and ocean style, which is very local! The front desk service was also good, introducing the local salt-baked chicken 👍. There were not many types of breakfast, and it was quite satisfactory. Check-out was quick, will stay here again next time~"

"Very comfortable, the mattress and bedding were all great, and it was pretty quiet. The service was also excellent. We were three people staying in a double room, and the security guard even brought us an extra set of toiletries! The window was also large, offering a nice view. What I particularly liked was that the washing area was outside, separate from the toilet, which I found very convenient! If I ever get the chance to visit Danzhou again, I'd definitely stay here. Recommended!"

The single bed in the foyer was so soft and uncomfortable to sleep on! The butler was okay, he helped us carry our luggage to the room, but other aspects were not ideal!"

You can stay in a sea view room with such a beautiful view for just a few dozen yuan in the off-season. It's really amazing. The boss is very nice, enthusiastic, and easy to talk to. Chongqing people are really honest, hahahaha. The room is equipped with disposable towels and bath towels, which are very clean. It is the wisest choice to stay at Haihua Island at this moment. I didn't step into the trap. I highly recommend it."

It happened to be my husband's birthday, and they put so much effort into decorating for him. Next time, I'm definitely bringing my friends along! The only slight regret is that due to the typhoon, we didn't get to see the sunset or try paddleboarding."

"We went in mid June, rainy season so it was low season. For the price that we paid for the 2 bedroom villa, which included breakfast (at another hotel) entry to ocean park, The Five Country Hot Spring City, and personal shuttle bus service within the island. I think it was well worth it. Service was prompt and courteous, although communication was all through WeChat and in Chinese. Convenient but knowing sone Chinese would be better to utilize services . We stayed in the Japanese style villa, and it was tastefully decorated, spacious and comfortable. We especially loved having our own dry and steam sauna, and our own personal outdoor hot spring bath! Real hot spring mineral water! I recommend this place especially for people who love hot spring baths and want to avoid busy touristy hotels. Cleanliness: overall quite clean. Location: walking distance to ocean park and hot spring city, so quite convenient. 5-10 minutes shuttle ride to most places within the island. Service: knowing someone is available 24 hours was nice. They were eager to help with whatever we needed. The main concierge during the day was more friendly, competent and experienced. Amenities: everything we needed was provided. There was a Dyson hair dryer, fridge etc. If you are picky about your shampoo soaps etc, you may want to bring your own. But they do provide them."

There is also a cigar bar. The only downside is that it is a little bit remote and far from restaurants and hotels."

"The hotel is in a great location, in Building 3 of Gaoshang Community at the bridgehead of Tonghai Bridge on Ocean Flower Island. There are two supermarkets, Lianhua and RT-Mart, downstairs. You can eat in the owner's canteen or Shaxian snacks. The transportation and living facilities are convenient. The apartment has a kitchen, balcony and a beautiful view. You can reach Ocean Flower Island No. 1 along the coastal leisure trail. Disadvantages: There are no obvious signs downstairs, and the hotel is not easy to find. It is recommended to call customer service in advance before checking in. The guidance provided by customer service can help you find the apartment easily."
