Location: The hotel is positioned at a relatively higher geographical area. If you get one of the rooms that faces the village, you can have an amazing view of the buildings. Service: The concierge was immensely helpful and friendly. They provided me with awesomely reliable recommendations for places to visit, things to do or restaurants to eat at. They also helped me book event tickets and find cars to get to scenic spots. Additionally, I had a few great talks with them. They hold a simple and honest attitude for life, just like the other villagers I talked to here. On top of everything, they give free sweet snacks! Amenities: Great everything! Unlimited supplies of water! Cleanliness: I saw a stain or so on a pillow. But overall, apart from it, it was nice and neat. Highly recommended.

Come here to join in the fun during the Grain Rain Festival. It was a very satisfying stay! The location of this homestay is very good. It is not far from the entrance of the village. You don’t need to walk far. If you take the shuttle bus, you can tell the driver to take you to the intersection and walk 50 meters to get there. The two front desk staff are super nice. Seeing that I am bringing my parents, they upgraded me to a larger room. There are rattan chairs on the balcony, which are very comfortable to sit on. The little brother helped me move the luggage and introduced the whole village tour guide. It rained when I left, and the little sister lent us an umbrella to take us to the bus stop. I booked a mountain view room, which is very cost-effective. The view room will be more expensive. The little brother took us in for a tour. The B&B has a nice environment. The room is equipped with a local shawl for use. On the day of check-in, the proprietress also made sugar water and a few packets of snacks (the sugar water made by the proprietress is really good). The room also has a terrace with a hanging chair. You can sit on the hanging chair and bask in the sun in the morning. The entrance of the B&B is very suitable for taking pictures. You can see the first picture directly on the terrace. The furry children in the store are super cute. The scene of the cold black cat male god and the crazy border collie meeting is too funny. I really recommend it to those who like furry children. It is really healing to watch the furry children playing.

Treasure Inn, the perfect experience beyond expectations, when choosing an inn online, I saw that this store basically did not take care of the network information very carefully, so I didn't have much hope at first. TTingxuetingniThe most satisfying hotel during my summer vacation trip was a B&B in a scenic spot. I booked it blindly, but I was full of surprises after I checked in. First of all, one day in advance, the lady in the store called us to ask how to get to the scenic spot. She said that someone in the store would come to pick us up and take us to the hotel. We added WeChat for easy contact. On the day of check-in, we were asked several times about our expected arrival time. When we were about to arrive at the scenic spot, our little brother called and asked us to wait at the entrance of the parking lot. He took us to find a parking space, parked the car, bought tickets, and checked in through the gate of the scenic spot. Be careful not to buy a ferry ticket. The little brother sent us directly to the hotel (taking the internal road, self-driving cars are not allowed to enter the scenic spot). Check-in was quick, and there was unlimited free coffee and tea drinks in the lobby. Our room was called Ruyi. It was in 501. We could see the Drum Tower of Zhaoqing Dong Village printed on the entrance of the scenic spot. The scenery outside the bathtub window looked like a painting. The room is very new, with a smart toilet, a Dyson hairdryer, four bottles of water, Starbucks bagged coffee, a plate of fruit, and a small refrigerator with Coca-Cola, Sprite, Prickly Pear Juice, Wong Lao Ji, Soda Water, and Mineral Water. The main feature is a rich variety. The store pays great attention to details. The bathtub comes with a bathtub cover. The slippers are of good quality and not disposable. There are also washable slippers and the TV can be cast. Not long after I checked in, the store sent me a hand-drawn map of the Dong Village. The consultation was patient and timely. I asked if there was any needlework and it was quickly delivered to the room. Breakfast and afternoon tea were both delicious. When you leave, you will be sent to the parking lot. I will come again if I have the chance. I highly recommend staying in the Ancient Song Secret Land when you come to Dong Village.

JJamesHarrisMy friend and I stayed here for one night and, whilst overall our stay was fine, I did feel some things were lacking. The room was large, with plenty of space, but the bathroom was tiny. The windows were entirely frosted which meant there was no view of the outside, which made the room feel rather claustrophobic. But BY FAR the biggest problem for me was the air conditioning. It was on constantly, at the lowest setting, but the room never cooled down throughout our stay. It wasn’t particularly hot at the end of August but with the lack of windows that opened, and high humidity, it made the room feel very stuffy and affected my sleep. The temperature of the room is an important factor for me and I wouldn’t stay here again without knowing beforehand that the AC was working as it should.

Location is fantastic as it’s within five minutes walking distance to the busy main street but in a quiet area just beside the entrance to the village, hence no disturbance at night or early morning. To get here, just take the shuttle bus from the high speed rail station to the end point outside the clinic. Qixi Inn is just a two minute walk away. Staff are ever helpful and friendly. GGuest UserCons: - stained towels and bed linen (I wouldn't care, but this hotel is 4 times more expensive than cheap hostels I usually stay in China, so I expect more) - I found a big spider the size of a hand in my room (but to be honest: I don't blame the owners for that because the spider could just come from the window, so it's not their fault) - the staff doesn't speak English Pros: - It is the cheapest hotel with license to give an accommodation for foreigners in Zhaoxing. - The receptionist came to my room immediately after my call in his free time and killed that spider I was talking about above. He is my hero! :) - Apart of stained towels and bed linen the room was cleaner than other rooms in other hostels I stayed in China. - The hotel has a good location just next to the town's gate. - I have got a bottle of water for free and all toiletries.
