This was the most satisfying guesthouse during my trip to Guizhou. Located in Tang'an Dong Village, it offers a healing view of sprawling terraced fields right outside your window. The guesthouse was just built in October 2025, so the facilities are incredibly new and smart – you wouldn't expect this in a village guesthouse! The owners are also very welcoming; if you contact them in advance, they can pick you up from the Dong Village entrance. The best part is how convenient it is to watch both sunrise and sunset from the guesthouse, without having to take a bus and then a sightseeing car from Zhaoxing Dong Village. Especially for sunrise, you can book with the owner beforehand, and they'll drive you to the observation deck above Tang'an Dong Village. If you're lucky, you might even see a sea of clouds, which is absolutely spectacular! Tang'an Dong Village is quieter and less crowded than Zhaoxing Dong Village, making it perfect for a peaceful stroll. If you want to see terraced fields and sunrise and prefer to avoid crowds, this is the ideal place to stay! Looking forward to my next visit~

Highly recommend, five stars! We parked our car and the owner drove us to and from the hotel. The view was excellent, overlooking the entire Dong village. Our room had windows on three sides, providing great natural light and ventilation. The hotel has a unique ethnic charm, with a rustic pine scent. We wanted our children to experience a Dong village home, and to our surprise, the room was very spacious, as were the bathroom and shower. This made bathing the kids super convenient. The hotel facilities are well-equipped. They provide disinfected slippers, a sterilization cabinet, and even a washing machine, which is a lifesaver in rainy and humid Guizhou for drying clothes. The hotel is located at one end of the Dong village, next to the rice field cafe, making it very convenient for exploring and taking photos. You can easily push a stroller around the village without any hassle. Be careful with food when visiting the Dong village. We accidentally ate something that upset our stomachs, and our child vomited three times that night, staining the sheets, duvet cover, and pillows. The owner kindly helped us change to clean bedding in the middle of the night, without any hint of impatience, and even showed concern for our child's condition. The owner is truly wonderful, I highly recommend this place!

We had an incredible stay at the hotel. The location is perfect with incredible views over the fields. It is also 2 minutes walk to the best restaurants and sites of Zhaoxing. The staff was so kind to us, giving us a better room to accommodate us traveling with a baby. They organised all transport in amazing cars and we're always there to help us and give us recommendations on Zhaoxing. They even organised a driver to deliver our forgotten items to the translation after we checked out. The food for breakfast is also fresh and delicious with a lovely view. The rooms are big, luxurious and very new. I recommend this hotel highly to anyone traveling to Zhaoxing, you will not find a better hotel especially with the kinder staff. Thank you so much!

The staff at this B&B were incredibly thoughtful. We parked our car and were transferred to the hotel's own vehicle, and then to a hotel scooter for our luggage. We walked to the hotel ourselves, and at first, it felt a bit cumbersome since we weren't familiar with the area and were worried about getting lost with elderly family members. However, the hotel staff patiently guided and assisted us, and everything went smoothly. The young man working there had an excellent attitude, patiently answering all our questions. The room was clean, tidy, and odor-free. The toiletries were also a thoughtful touch; unlike some other B&Bs, the shampoo didn't leave our hair tangled. You can tell they put a lot of effort into everything. The breakfast was delicious too. Honestly, I can't find anything to complain about.

I highly recommend this guesthouse. The room is outstanding. It has everything you need and the view is spectacular. I really love how open and airy it is. The rooms have such a lovely cottage vibe. It is a magical feeling waking up in the morning to the lush green landscape with the view of the traditional village. But most of all, the hosts are incredibly warm and helpful, that I felt so comfortable and at home here. From beginning to end, the hosts were very proactive in communicating and I appreciated how helpful they were with my every need. I am forever grateful for them. The breakfast noodles and buffet are amazing and so rich. For lunch and dinner you can walk right to the village (4 min walk) for amazing restaurants and snacks. I really appreciated the convenient pickup and drop-off service. The open lounges are great to relax in if you want to be around other guests. But the rooms are quiet if you need silence. I had amazing sleep here. This guesthouse is worth it in every aspect. I stayed for quite long and wanted to extend my stay. I am so glad I picked this guesthouse. Book this place and you won’t regret it!

Me and my girlfriend got picked up at Congjiang train station which was very convenient. Right from the start the owners of the hotel were extremely friendly and helpful. The accomodation is located at the back of the village next to a field where they grow rapeseed flowers and rice during the year. For us the location was perfect as it is very peaceful and quiet but simultaneously litterally a few steps away from the beautiful vibrant little village. The room was very spacious and clean with a gorgeous view on the field. The interior is very well matched and has great facilities. There was even a small laundry machine so we could do some laundry ourselves. So far during our travels in China, this stay was the best we had! There is a very stylish and cute coffee/restaurant located on the first floor of the building. This is also where you will have a delicious breakfast and where Ni Li and her sister will greet you with a smile every time you walk by. Ni Li, her husband Tao Mingqing, her sister and brother played a crucial part during our stay as after the first night my wife got very sick due to an infection and barely left the room during our stay. The second night I got foodpoisoning which made the situation even worse. (Not from the hotel!). We ended up extending our stay due to her condition. Luckily Li's English is very good so that helped us a lot in navigating the medical difficulties. We were extremely lucky to be staying with Li and her family as they took care of us like we were their own family. Preparing custom meals and dinner tailored to our needs every single day, preparing us tea, calling the local doctors and translating and taking us to the local hospital back and forth multiple times. We were there during the Qingming festival so no cars were allowed in the village which made it more difficult to reach the hospital. This didn't stop Tao Mingqing as he took us to the local hospital several times on the motorbike, one by one! The last time I even forgot a bag and he even went back to get it for me! He truly is a legend. Fortunately, my recovery was fairly quickly so I had the chance to explore the village a little by myself and spend time with Li and Ming while staying close to the room for my girlfriend. On day 4 my girlfriend's fever was coming down and she improved a little. Li and Ming invited us to have tea with them. Ming showed me his vast collection of tea and made sure to prepare the best tea suitable for our condition. The tea was truly amazing and he ended up filling a big bag with different kinds of teas as a gift for us! And that was not it, to make sure we would never forget them and drink tea mindfully the Chinese way when we're back home, they gave us the tea cups we used traditionally decorated with the blue dragon and phoenix. It was a very stressful situation and when we felt at our most fragile, they were there to take care of us, strangers they just met. This says everything about these wonderful people. Even though the illness of my girlfriend and the rough situation, we think back to our stay with a very warm hearth as our special experience forged a bond we'll never forget. We are incredibly lucky to have met Li and her family. We have said thank you to them 100s of times already, but I can't express enough how grateful I am for this people. Thank you for taking care of us like your family!!! ＜3 If you are unsure about staying here, there is truly no reason why you shouldn't! Whatever the situation, Li and her family will do everything they can to improve your stay. I'm sure you'll have a blast!

I came to Zhaoxing Dong Village specifically to experience the Dong New Year and immerse myself in its festive atmosphere. The guesthouse is located near the Lituan Drum Tower; it's easy to find using a map, and the main street is just a short walk away. The rooms were clean and tidy, with all necessary toiletries provided. It was very quiet at night, and the landlady was warm and friendly. The Dong New Year parade, the traditional rice-making activity, the long table banquet, the Lusheng (a type of reed pipe instrument) competition, and the bonfire party were all part of the vibrant activities. I experienced the customs and traditions of the Dong people in southeastern Guizhou Province – a truly worthwhile trip. Finally, congratulations to the Lituan team for winning the Lusheng competition!

Wonderful homestay with all comforts. Modern amenities great wifi and close to centre but quiet. Excellent host who tried her best to communicate and make us feel comfortable. Great coffeshop on road nearby whose owner has perfect English ( and great coffee) who was a mine of information on local places to visit.

It was already late when we arrived at the Dong Village. A friend recommended this B&B to me. She said the owner was very nice. The B&B was inside the village and the environment was very nice and clean. When you book a room, they also give you clothes for taking photos and handmade cards. Unfortunately, we were in a hurry to go home and didn't have time to do any handicrafts.

The room is big, the view is great, the balcony is the most comfortable, there is a stream outside the window, it is so pleasant to enjoy the view on the balcony at night, eat and drink, it is very close to the main street, but very quiet, quiet in the bustling, the children like it very much and don't want to leave, the proprietress is gentle and easy to talk to
