GGuest UserFabulous setting up on a hill about a 20 min walk down to the town(definitely get a rickshaw back). Didn’t realise we could order eggs for breakfast until our second morning (not offered them on the first morning). Cake at breakfast was yummy.
Bathroom hadn’t been cleaned on arrival and there were splatters marks on the wall above the tea/coffee area. We also returned to our room late afternoon to find maintenance working on our balcony - did feel this could have been done after checkout!
Fabulous shower.
We ate in the restaurant one night and the food was very good. The high taxes in Tamil Nadu added to the price (almost 25%) so bear this in mind . Cocktails weee excellent.
We did the morning ’hike’ which was well worth getting up for.
We were brought a hot water bottle on our second night which was a lovely surprise.
Tea & biscuits served between 5 & 5.30pm which was a nice touch although more of the breakfast cake would have been good.
Would recommend staying here as rooms, location & restaurant are excellent.

GGuest UserThe property is good to stay clean and well maintained, but no restaurant except breakfast, city restaurants are too far auto charges 700 rs return for 3.5 km that is too much, zomato and Swiggy is there, less option of restaurant for vegetarians 2 to 3 only,rest all is good no complains, room 101 should have tinted view glass for privacy reasons, that should be taken care off immediately, request to owner to open restaurant as well for guest atleast . staff is very well trained and behaved thanks 👍

What truly sets this resort apart is the hospitality. The owner, manager, and caretakers were incredibly warm, welcoming, and attentive. Their friendly and helpful nature made our stay even more enjoyable.
From the beautiful surroundings to the excellent service, everything about Bella Vista Resort was perfect. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway! Can't wait to visit again!

GGuest UserDon't expect the place to be like in photos. If you like to stay in an actual palace where a lot of movies were shot(if you know the movie references) the stay will be more enjoyable. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. You can walk around and enjoy, they have a ground and viewpoint. Don't expect other amenities like in the resort. Food is not that great and it is expensive. I stayed with my parents and kids. Enjoyed the stay. They have luggage service unlike what some other reviews have mentioned, but the radiator was not working in the room. The value lies in heritage and the movie references. Not crowded and noisy.
