Centara Hotels in Phuket

I extended my stay twice because I absolutely loved the sea view. I didn't mind the slight inconvenience for getting around; I'd walk to Karon and take a taxi to Patong. On the way back, I'd just hop on the Smart Bus and ask the driver to drop me off right at the entrance.

The room layout and the view from the window were superb, directly facing the ocean – absolutely breathtaking. The air conditioning worked great and was really cool, unlike some earlier reviews that mentioned noise issues. There was also a large ceiling fan. The staff were all incredibly friendly, always greeting us warmly. Breakfast was also quite good. I'd read reviews saying it was too 'Western,' but there was actually Chinese congee, side dishes, salted duck eggs, mini fried dough sticks, and noodles, among other things. Plus, there was a dedicated section for Indonesian dishes. The fruit selection was decent too, mainly watermelon, honeydew, papaya, jackfruit, and oranges. Overall, breakfast was very rich and varied. The hotel grounds are expansive with multiple pools to suit different needs. It felt almost like a private beach – uncrowded and clean. The hotel is a bit older, so manage your expectations. The water quality isn't the best, and the shower pressure was quite low. While the hotel provides bottled filtered water, I felt more comfortable buying my own bottled water. The Italian restaurant on-site was delicious, and it was nice to enjoy some cold beer there. You can also order food and drinks via Grab and have them delivered to the lobby. All in all, it was a very pleasant experience. After all, when you're traveling, a good mood makes everything better! The hotel's spa was fantastic! My child and I had a 90-minute parent-child spa session that left us wanting more. Highly recommended.

It was a very pleasant time in this hotel. The staff is super friendly, the room was clean and there was everything we needed including mini-kitchen. The breakfast was good but I would add some hot porridge for children, there were only different kinds of muesli with the cold milk.

We really enjoyed our stay at Waterfront Suites Phuket by Centara. The apartment was spacious, clean, bright, and very comfortable, with a beautiful sea view, large windows, and a balcony that made the stay even more special. It was an excellent option for a family vacation because there was so much space — comfortable bedrooms, a big living area, and a dining space where we could relax together. The apartment had everything we needed for a pleasant and comfortable stay, and it truly felt cozy and welcoming. The location was also a big plus, with the beach nearby and a very relaxing atmosphere around the property. Overall, we had a very positive experience and created wonderful memories here. Thank you for your hospitality. We would gladly stay here again.

The location is great, nestled in an alley off a lively street, just a 5-minute walk from Karon Beach. The hotel is large and beautiful, with several pools, a children's play area, a spa, and lots of trees and flowers – perfect for a vacation. There's a shuttle service for getting around. The breakfast is mainly Western, and it's delicious. The staff are all very kind and friendly, always ready to help. The concierge was especially helpful with carrying luggage, booking taxis, finding drivers, and making calls – truly excellent service. The only thing I wasn't happy about was a young, white female staff member at the front desk. She was polite, but she gave me a connecting room. We were indeed two families, so if we were to get connecting rooms, they should have been for both of our families together. Instead, she put us on different floors, and only my room was a connecting one. The child next door cried non-stop all night, making it impossible to sleep. I don't understand why she did that. Thankfully, the other front desk staff promptly moved me to a different room later that night.

Having stayed at many Centara hotels, a local hotel group, I can confidently give this one a five-star rating! This villa is their newest property, featuring a modern, circular design. The ground floor consists of pool villas, though the pools aren't huge. The resort also has a regular hotel in a high-rise building, and another tropical rainforest-style resort (which isn't listed on Ctrip). All three hotels share facilities, including five fantastic swimming pools! I didn't have time to experience the spa. The breakfast buffet was incredibly rich and even had Eggs Benedict! Villa guests enjoy complimentary afternoon tea and cocktails. The gym offers great views, and there's a Starbucks right next door. Upon check-in, I downloaded their app, which I used to order water and other items directly. The resort has many other facilities and daily activities that I didn't get a chance to experience. This resort is a destination in itself; you could easily spend your entire trip just relaxing here. The beach is less than a ten-minute walk away, but the waves are quite big, so it's more for surfing than swimming. Unlike domestic hotels, the white cloth slippers provided by this hotel group are not disposable. They are cleaned, disinfected, and reused ♻️. The bellhops at the entrance were very proactive in helping with luggage, arranging a taxi, and even taking a photo with me. I tipped them a little for their excellent service.
